Born in Montreal Canada to an Australian mother. Just moved to Melbourne to go back to school. Going to hopefully be doing my Masters of teaching in February. I'm living at my cousin's house in Richmond at the moment and am trying to find some cool people to move in with. I'm a cinephile, somewhat geeky but quite extroverted. I'm very open-minded, progressive, a bit of a hippy. I work at a small whisky resto/bar in the cbd. I'm into sustainable living, queer friendly, and love biking around. I'm neat and tidy and I like to cook for other people. I speak French and Spanish and will be learning Japanese. Here's a link to my couch surfing profile to see references from people that have had me stay in their house:
HI there! I am a bubbly 2nd Year student at the University of Melbourne studying political sciences and Asian studies. I love food, drinking tea and watching rick and morty. Love a bit of banter and outdoor activities!
HI. My name's Ari (short for Arianwen - it's Welsh) and I'm from the UK. I'm 33 and I just got a job with a charity in Melbourne. I'm currently waiting for a little more information on how long the visa process might take before booking my flights, but I'll be there by the end of October, or early November at the latest. My office will be on Flinder's Lane and ideally I'd like to be able to walk to work. My preferred areas would be the CBD, Carlton, Fitzroy, or maybe Richmond. I don't mind too much what the house is like, but good WiFi, a double bed (already furnished) and a noticeable absence of spiders would definitely spark my interest. I don't really mind who I share with but I'd probably prefer to be in a place with three or more rooms and flatmates who like to socialise every now and again. I know a few people in Melbourne already, but I'm always keen to meet new people. I'm a massive travel addict. I've spent most of the past four years backpacking through South and Central America, Asia and New Zealand, and I write a travel blog professionally, which sometimes gets me pretty awesome products or experiences to review. I love to scuba dive and recently did my divemasters in Indonesia. I also like to do silly things like bungy jumping every now and again. If you have any questions for me, let me know. It's really annoying that I can't actually view anywhere at the moment, but if you think I sound like the right kind of person drop me a message and I'll send you updates on my progress towards moving!
Hi there! I'm Irina, a full-time student at RMIT. I moved to Melbourne about a year ago from Queensland, I'm super easy going and friendly, but I definitely appreciate some down time. I'm looking for a permanent place, or somewhere temporary until I can figure it all out! I like netflix, reading and dogs, but I'm also down to be social if that's your thing.
Hi, I'm Elya! I've been in Melbourne for almost 3 years, originally from Malaysia. I'm currently an Arts student and will be graduating soon. Looking for a place to stay over the summer (but hopefully longer!) while I figure out what's next. Dates are sort of flexible. For potential roommates: I'm clean and tidy, still learning how to cook, not much into parties, here to listen to you vent over a glass of wine after a long day, and always up to binge watch tv shows. That being said, I will definitely respect your privacy and if you want to keep to yourself, that's cool too. If you're interested / want to know anything else, feel free to contact me! Bonus points if you have a cat.
We both very easy going, clean, respect each others, really like traveling, love nature, food, movies, wine, cheese and chocolate for sure 😊
Moving to Melbourne from Sydney as I am starting a new full time role for a large corporate firm in Docklands. I am really easy going, friendly, love to cook and clean and love a tidy home. Pet friendly, enjoy keeping fit and active, enjoy company of others, can be social as well as enjoy my nights in also.
We are Andi and Jutta, 29 and 32, and we are looking for a longterm accommodation in Melbourne. We are both working full time, Andi as a chef and Jutta as a waitress. In our free time, we like to sleep in, get out into nature, cook at home and meet other people. Andi loves gardening as well and cooking at home. So good food is guaranteed. :-) We are responsible, clean and take good care of our stuff and where we live.
Hello! Chill couple, here! My name is Erin. My partner Michael and I have just relocated to Melbourne, from Chicago. We're interested in renting one room together (ideally in a sharehouse full of nice people), for the long-term. I am an American working in specialty coffee, and Michael is a Melburnian fella, returning from overseas after completing his PhD in mathematics. We are both fairly tidy, and value personal spaces, but enjoy the companionship of housemates, and community living, and have a good amount of experience living alongside other humans in various forms of formalized or informal cooperative living. We love cooking, and shared meals, and also appreciate having a home to improve upon as a group. I'd love to garden, if we had the chance! I'm vegetarian, and Michael is almost vegetarian, but we are pretty much open to living with any dietary preferences. I play cello and guitar, mostly for myself. We ride our bikes to get around the city, and enjoy being active and outdoors. I'm a potter/ceramicist, though I also work in other materials. Since we've just arrived, I'm still working on finding a studio space in our new city, but it seems like the arts community is vibrant here. I'm hoping to get back to making new work soon. We are, above all, open-minded to living with many sorts of people -- which is how we hope you are, too. Apart from the above details, we're just a couple of humans who like living with other humans, and doing so in an environmentally and socially conscious way. Neither of us smoke cigarettes, or do much in the way of drugs, but we're very open-minded to, and accepting of other people and their lifestyle choices. We appreciate a drink in the evening, but tend not to drink very much at any one time. The occasional party is enjoyable, but we like to keep it casual and fun, and would enjoy a vibrant but mostly peaceful home (if only because, as a barista, I often have to wake up at 5 or 6 in the morning)! Neither of us have jobs yet, as we have only just arrived. But while we are just beginning proper job searches, we have a comfortable amount of savings, and would be happy to provide bank statements upon request. For work, Michael hopes to go into data science, and in a city like Melbourne, I can't wait to work at some of the great cafes around town (some of the best in the world are here)! I would love to hear from you, if it sounds like we might be a good fit in your home! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Many thanks, Erin and Michael
Originally from the UK, but sponsored through work. Lived in melborne 2years. Very sociable and outgoing, big lover of music, festivals, art and doing random fun stuff or exploring.....whether that's a new country, city or restaurant. Love spending my weekends out and about with friends. Very, clean and tidy :) looking for like minded people to share with in a homely space.
Hey folks! My name is Octavio, and I am a fun and outgoing international student from Mexico, currently studying a master of Advertising at RMIT University. I have lived for the past year and a half with 3 friends in an amazing apartment within the CBD, but unfortunately the landlord will sell the property and asked us to move. About me: I spend my time either at uni, work or out socializing. I enjoy hanging out with friends, meeting new people, reading, drinking beer, among other standard stuff that 20 somethings like to do. In the past I have lived in NY, London, Shanghai and Melbourne. So based on my past experiences with roommates and flatmates, I would say that I am very easy to live with, very aware of personal space and like to share a beer/wine over a good chat when we bump into each other. Cheers!
Hey! I'm Haylene. I've started full time work in the allied health field this year and am looking for other young professionals to live with. I'm a fun, respectful, tidy housemate. I like hanging out after work for a chat or dinner. Love a good board game! Basically I am looking for somewhere with a chilled atmosphere and housemates to hang out with. I have an albino guinea pig named Coconut who would also be moving in. I'm happy to apply to the landlord to allow pets if that's an issue.
Hi I'm Julian, I'm 29 y.o graphic designer — I work full time at a design studio in Collingwood. I work standard hours and keep things pretty low key during the week, though I do enjoy the odd glass of wine in the evenings. On weekends I like to catch up with friends, get out to gigs or exhibitions, catch a film or just hang in the sun, and I play a bit of soccer too. I enjoy the party times but have toned it down a bit in recent years. I'm keen to experience life on the north side, with the added bonus of being closer to work. I'm a pretty easy going guy and prefer living a social environment where sharing meals and a drink or two on the w/e is encouraged.
Hello! My name is Brittany and I am here working/traveling for a year with one of my good friends, Alex. We are both 24 year old females working full time. Both laid back, outgoing, and always up for a good time. Not picky at all, just looking for two separate bedrooms in a flat in a fun location! Looking forward to hearing from you! Britt
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old guy from Helsinki, Finland. I'm a multimedia designer by trade and usually work in the creative fields. I'm in Australia on a working holiday visa and planning to spend the following months in the awesome city of Melbourne. Currently my long term plans are pretty open so therefore I'm looking for a short term lease on a private room in a nice shared house/apartment with nice roommates. Ideally I would like to rent a room for the next 3 months or so, but I'm also open for shorter and maybe longer deals. I'm a responsible, clean, open-minded and an easy-going person. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I'm used to sharing apartments with other people and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Hey! I'm Lisa, an American living here in beautiful Australia! I work full time at a bakery and absolutely love my job. I spend my days off hanging with friends and trying new cafes or just lounging around watching movies. I love to cook and am always up to trying new recipes. I'm quiet and clean but know how to have a good time. Chat soon! :)
Hello, I'm Steven and I'm an easy going Canadian on a working holiday and will be working full-time in Melbourne for the next few months. Looking for a 3 month rental. I'm a clean and tidy person and won't leave my dishes unwashed, I may even clean yours if it is there. I enjoy travel of course but also like to stay active and enjoy playing sports. I like exploring new destinations and experiencing new things.
Hi! My name is Makensie. I'm 30 and after travelling abroad for the majority of my 20's, I have decided to call Melbourne home. I have recently finished studying (was a bit of a shock heading to uni as a mature age student) and am now a practicing Myotherapist on the Southside. Currently working on achieving a healthy work/life balance, I'm just getting into the swing of things post university. When I'm not at work, I'm catching up with friends, exercising, cooking (don't be fooled, I'm no chef) or checking out professional and personal development work shops. I'm a bit of a hippie at heart, I enjoy meditation and am partial to burning incense. I don't take myself too seriously though and appreciate good banter! My goal this year is to push myself out of my comfort zone ticking the things off my bucket list that I continue to put on hold for 'later'. I'm looking for a household that feels like a home. I'm independent and enjoy spending time with housemates but do like my own space also and am looking for housemates who appreciate this too. Ultimately, a clean, relaxed, fun, cheerful household where housemates are mindful of each other and work as a team when it comes to getting house jobs done. Close to public transport, cafes etc, is also important. Prefer to organise my own food, though happy to share condiments/have a kitty to fund household needs eg: loo paper.
My name is William I'm from Scotland and I'm here working as a hairdresser. Im a easy going guy and don't mind hanging out or giving people space when they need it. I like socialising also and also enjoy the gym. Anything else you would like to know don't hesitate to ask. William x
Born in Vancouver, Canada. Well travelled; lived in Europe, South America and USA for extended periods of time. I have been living in Melbourne for the past year, I work as a PA in the city. I am tidy and clean. I am athletic and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. I am responsible, but I also like to have a good time! I like spending time with friends; going out on the weekend or just taking it easy at home watching movies. I like to cook, but also like dinning out on the occasion.
Hello everyone! I'm Amanda and I'm a Swedish student looking for a nice place to call home in Melbourne. I'm returning to Melbourne in november and I start studying at La Trobe University in February. I'm an easy going person. I like to meet new people and get to know someone over a few glasses. At the same time I cherish my personal space and own time. If you have something that you think would be suitable please don't hesitate to contact me. I'm not picky. :) Cheers!
Hey I'm Naomi. I am moving over to Melbourne from London at the beginning of November and looking for somewhere from around 18th for 6 months +. I'm a laid back friendly person who is looking for a home and to make friends and hang out, but also enjoys their own space. I enjoy eating out and going for drinks, exhibitions, gigs, running, yoga and coffee! I work as a food consultant and will be working for a social enterprise cafe whilst in Melbourne. Happy to look in different areas and know the drill when it comes to shared houses :) I'm very tidy and clean too and happy to live with or without pets! Thanks, X
Hey there! My name is Katrina and i am currently studying full time ( business / human resource management) and working part time. I enjoy exploring melbourne's nooks and crannies, good food joints for a nice burger and bev and hanging out with friends. I also have great appreciation for music, independent films, photography and dogs. i'm described as easy going, happy and content. I am very much a respectful, bubbly and fun person to be around that's tidy and considerate of others belongings, personal space, etc. I enjoy meeting new people and thus wouldn't mind visits from friends and family during the week, i am social though do also like my alone time to do uni work and such. Simply looking for some nice, tidy and chill people to share a lil happy home with. Also have no problems with smokers or animals.
Hi, two friends looking for something short term-ish, Jake, works full time in Natural Resource Management and Nick works full time in Marketing. both super easy going dudes, usually quite busy during the week, up for a beer on the weekend :)
I'm a student that is moving to Melbourne in November as I have just found a new exciting permanent job in hospitality within the CBD and want to explore all that Melbourne has to offer. I consider myself a social person that enjoys going out for drinks with friends when I am not working or studying. Recently I have also started to enjoy cooking and I am looking for a place with like-minded flatmates. I am a tidy person and will be someone that helps out with the cleaning when possible. Also, I am reliable with payments of expenses and will be someone to count on in regards to the rent!
Busy professional I manage a health club and do lots of bits and pieces on the side. Into fitness, gym and cross fit. Enjoys a drink, jazz, film and brunch. :) I'm looking for a share place with own bathroom and parking of some sort. Have shared before for a long time and looking to have something more central.
Hi everyone, I'm an easy going, reliable, honest, tidy and a fairly quiet individual who has secured a 12 month nurse grad year in Melbourne for 2017. I currently work as a nurse. Some of my interests are travel and catching up with friends. Preferably, I would like to live with like minded people who are sociable and relaxed but most importantly trustworthy and tidy. Can provide my own furniture.
Hi there! I'm a secondary school music teacher and I work full time not far from the CBD. I'm very clean and tidy and like to keep a house that way. When I'm not drowning in marking, I enjoy a drink or two of an evening as well as binge watching netflix. I also own a few musical instruments, including a piano, so am need of a place for that to live! I have quite a bit of my own furniture since I'm currently living in an apartment by myself, so am happy to potentially team up to find a place. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to grab a coffee and have chat :)
Hello my name is juanes and I am from Colombia, I've been in Melbourne for 3 months, I am studying English at Swinburne University, I'm living in the city but want to move to a new shared place, I am very organized, fun and I would like to have a good relationship with flatmates I'm not a smoker and I like pets. I also work in the evenings and study in the morning, I look for an affordable place to nov18 minimum stay of tree months and no matter if It's not furnished. cheers
I work, sleep, clean and cook good food. I'm bubbly but enjoy my own space and giving it to others, and like open communication in a household - nothing anyone says ever offends me and I try and be a respectful housemate and adhere to others needs and wants.
FLEXIBLE WITH MOVE DATE AND LOCATION :) Also, I have pets! Hi potential roomies! My name is Liv; a 26 year old female, working full time and studying Nutrition via distance. About me; I enjoy seeing live music, finding new cafes and eating my way across Melbourne, day trips to the Dandenong Ranges to immerse myself in nature and walking my pocket sized pooches through all of the beautiful parks Melbourne has to offer! I've had over 5 years of experience living in share house arrangements (in other words, I know to empty the bin when it’s full and to put a new roll of toilet paper on when the existing roll has run out!) Ha, but in all seriousness, living in share houses for this long has meant that I am very considerate, very open minded and respectful of others privacy/separate lives. I’m very clean and I take a lot of pride in the house environment. I love homewares and interior decorating- on a budget- (so much love for Kmart!!). I’m fairly easy going and social, so I don’t mind if you have friends over for a couple of drinks on the weekends. More technical stuff: I have a car so I’d need somewhere (free) to park. I have furniture that I can bring if needed (lounge, dining set, fridge, washing machine, hallway/side tables, kitchen utensils/appliances/crockery) and my own bedroom furniture. I would like a large sized room that comfortably fits queen bed, desk, bed side tables and has a built in wardrobe. I would prefer unlimited internet so I’d be happy to set this up and split costs with housemates or chip in to any existing plan. I’m not in a huge rush to move as I would prefer to wait until I find the perfect fit (house and housemates) so I’m fairly flexible with moving dates as I can stay with my folks in the meantime. I'm not too picky on suburb- somewhere East or South East of Melbourne that isn’t too far from the city (e.g 20 minute drive) with nice walking tracks. I come as a "package" as I have pets (2 teeny tiny dogs and 1 cat). The dogs are tiny (the type that you could fit in your hand bag) however they aren’t small yappy dogs. They are toilet trained indoor dogs however are allowed outside when I am home. They are walked almost everyday however are just as happy to snuggle up together on my bed and wait for me to get home. They are both very clean and go to the dog groomers every 6 weeks (Boo doesn’t lose any hair, Ruby loses minimal). They are very happy little dogs that simply LOVE people and are always happy to be on someone’s (generally, anyone’s!) lap getting attention! My cat Dexter is an indoor/outdoor cat (not allowed outside when it is dark). He is petrified of other cats so I cannot take him into a house where there were existing cats. Although he is scared of other cats, he loves dogs. I can provide rental references for the pets! I need somewhere with a backyard / some form of a grassed area that I can easily access to take the dogs out to the toilet. They often wake me up during the night to take them out so apartments above ground floor are not suitable :( About YOU; I am looking for friendly and social housemates (with experience living in share houses), who are happy to have a chat/laugh when we cross paths and share the odd glass of wine together. HOWEVER I am also a very independent person that appreciates time to myself- so suitable housemates would be respectful of eachothers space. Suitable housemates must LOVE animals and be happy to let my dogs outside to the toilet (if you’re home and I’m not). Suitable housemates would also be clean and share house jobs (rotating rosters have worked well in the past!). I have always lived with strangers who have ended up friends and I see myself living with like-minded people who wish to make a house a home- if I sound like someone you would like to live with, please get in touch :)
Hey guys ! My name is Franck, I'm 27, gay and I'm French and I'm just about to officially become an aussie citizen ! I have been living in australia for 4 years now, including 1 year in Melbourne and I am planning on staying here for a while ! I work full time in hospitality and I am really serious when it comes to money and paying bills on time. I lived in London, Switzerland, Bora bora, Australia... and always in shared accomodations. I am a bit of a night owl, mostly due to my work ! I rarely say no to the cheeky glass of vino or spritz, but I am not a party animal really.. But when I do have a big week end of party, I like to keep it away from home really ! I'd love to find an awesome place to call home and hopefully some more awesome flatmates to call mates !! That's all I can think of really ! Cheers !
Hi! I grew up near Byron Bay and moved to Melbourne nearly 2 years ago with a group of friends, and have been living in a share house since. The lease is ending so its time to look for a new home. I work 4 days a week as a cook at and plan on finding more work, as i want to travel come end of 2017. Very clean, respectful and reliable. I am looking for short OR long. I enjoy summer but i love winter, some of my hobbies are skating, snowboarding and bjj. Ive got a couch if needed too. Looking for a place by the 3rd of November!
I'm easy-going, clean, dependable and sociable. (Wow, it's always hard for me to write these short descriptions.) My business partners decided to move back to their respective home countries so I've just finished closing up shop. It's back to the old IT freelancing gig for now, until I figure out my next stop, which means I'll be working from home most days for a little while. I'm originally from Delhi. I've been living here since I turned 18 so I've accumulated a fair bunch of friends over the years. Hoping to add my future housemates to the list. I usually go out on the weekends for drinks/gigs, but when I don't I like to watch movies/tv shows and read. I'm into an occasional hike or two, trying new things and keeping it real.
Hey :) STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY; 25; FRIENDS NOT ROOMMATES LOOKING FOR ROOM CLOSE TO CBD (CARLTON.FITZROY.CBD.EAST MELBOURNE. RICHMIND. PRAHAN. STH YARRA.SOUTHBANK...) Rent until end of feb. I know how annoying it is to find a new flatmate. By now I have underleased my own room in Münster (Germany) four times and every time it’s hard again to find a good match between all the remaining roomies. Anyway, you should not build your opinion on Facebook photos or whatever. But even if you meet someone once it is still hard to figure out who a person really is. I really know what I am talking about ;) This is why I will try to describe myself as accurately as possible and give some information about my background. So first of all, my name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
Hey everyone! My name is Maddie, I'm 20 years old and I just moved here from New Zealand. I'm super friendly and chilled out. I'm currently looking for retail and barista jobs but I have savings so I can pay rent and bond etc! I'm vegan but I promise I won't try to turn you, and I'll make you bomb stir fry and curries etc! I enjoy the occasional night out with friends but I'm mostly a night in with Netflix type of girl. Contact me if you'd like to know more about me.
Hi, We are two french girls, looking for a nice flat share or a share house to enjoy Melbourne. We are outgoing, funny, friendly and clean persons If you want us to live with you, contact us and we will tell you more about us ! Léa and Margaux
It's really hard to make these sites not sound like a dating profile on RSVP or similar. I'm Campbell, I work full-time for a professional body for engineers. Originally from New Zealand been living in Sydney for the past four years and have now made the move to Melbourne. I am a pretty friendly and down to earth sort of guy. I am pretty tidy (I think). On weekends I like to hangout with friends or have a drink or two. I like to hit up gastropubs for food with friends but sometimes prefer a weekend with Netflix. I know how to respect other peoples space and like my own downtime. After a furnished room. Looking for great people to live with.
My name is Ollie, I am from Wales and my partner is Melanie and she's from Singapore. Mel is studying Early childhood at Holmesglen and she works part time at Jimmy Grants Fitzroy. I work at Jimmy Grants Fitzroy as a full time supervisor and I have been in Australia for 15 months already. We are a fun loving couple who share a love for travelling and good food, we are easy to get along with and we keep ourselves tidy. We are always up for meeting new people and getting to know they story.
Hey all, My friend (Rachel) and I have recently arrived in Melbourne and looking for a place near the city. We've just finished uni in Scotland and taking a year out in Australia before starting grad jobs back in Edinburgh. We both just got bar jobs in the city and are planning on working full-time. We are friendly, outgoing and looking to make new friends. We both like the odd night out but equally enjoy chilling at home with wine and cheese. We would like to start a flatshare with like minded people. If you are interested drop us an email. Look forward to teaming up!
Hi, I’m a Greek student in international business and trading and looking for a private room. I’m working part time almost every afternoon. Quiet, clean, tidy and respectful person. Email me or sms/call me. Thanks in advance.
I enjoy spending my time outside of work socializing with family and friends, exercising and doing outdoor activities. I really enjoy traveling and recently returned from a 4 month stay in South & Central America. I still enjoy having a few drinks and late nights. I have grown up in Melbourne. At work I am a civil engineer and project management. My work hours are 6:30am-4:00pm (Monday-Friday).
Three friends from the UK looking for a place to call home for anywhere between 3-5 months. We are all employed with experience renting property and sharing houses before. We are looking to move as soon as possible, and would also be interested in any 4 bedroom properties as we have a friend who could fill an extra room. We would love to hear from you if you think you have a place that might be suitable :)
Hi. I am 27 years old and consider myself to be fairly normal! To sum up, I am active, health conscious, outgoing and always interested in a chat! Would happily cook or watch a film with my housemates but I also like my personal time and respect that of others. I have been a structural engineer for over three years in England (yes I'm English!) and have moved back to Melbourne on a four year visa. As I have only arrived recently I am currently looking for work in the city and want to live here; I am not a traveller! I am however taking a career break to push a few photography projects, but will look for full time work again shortly. Generally I am quite active and enjoy surfing, skiing, mountain biking, tennis and other sports. I love getting away and exploring the surf coast or mountains. On the side I enjoy photography and editing. I am a bit of a neat freak so am tidy in both my personal space, bathroom and kitchen. I hope to live with some easy going like minded people, but to be honest as long as you are both kind and also relatively normal, I'm sure we will get along! I look forward to hearing from you. Alex
Easy going and respectful (true but seems boring...). I make one of the best brownies of Melbourne and I'd me more than happy to cook one for you. I love singing with my ukulele (but if you don't like it I won't annoy you). Pierre is quite the same, he loves meeting new people and he'll need to improve his English as he has just arrived.
Just returned from a 5 month backpacking trip through Europe, so looking to move back closer to the city, was in North Fitzroy before I left and loved the area so anywhere around there is great but definitely open to new locations too! I've been in retail for a looong time, so I can probably hook you up with sweet deals. I am a binge series watcher, and love reading so can be a bit of a homebody, but I also love a cheeky beer or 5 and heading out in the glorious city we live in. The important stuff: I'm clean, I wash dishes, I love shower products so I always smell nice and leave the bathroom smelling nice too, I won't bug you but I will probably want to be your friend, I will buy milk always because black tea just isn't the same and I'm pretty much your ideal housemate.
We are Nat & Quinn, a 27 yr old female (gay) and a 6 month old kelpie. I run my own business as a graphic designer and work in the city, and Quinn goes to puppy day care 5 days a week and is exhausted after a run at night, so is a very quiet little miss of an evening. We go on adventures all weekend, and tend to cuddle up to a book or a movie after work. Quinn is well manured, minus a bit of jumping up to say hello, but that's getting better with constant training. I have my certificate in dog obedience so i am always training her new manners. I spend my weekends and spare time training Quinn, walking and running, coffee drinking, and brunching. I spend my time at home reading, designing (drawing) and just hanging out. My Name is Robin and I am a 26 years old Backpacker from Germany. I just finished my studies in Mechanical Engineering there and now want to travel Australia. Since I’m going to work in Melbourne I’m looking for a place close to the City Central, where I can stay 5 weeks or longer. I would describe myself as a proper, reliable and rather quiet but sociable person - uncomplicated all in all. I'm also a handyman.
Hi! My name is Amalia and I come from Chile. I just arrived in Melbourne and plan to stay here for 10 months. I'm tidy and clean, particularly when it comes to common areas, dirty kitchens drive me crazy! I'm also a pretty not-loud person. I studied literature so of course I like to read, but I enjoy other more sociable activities just as much. I love having beers with friends, listening to good music and watching movies. Also when I'm feeling more energetic I love outdoor life and dancing.
