Looking for a decent place to move into for 6+ months come May. So I can live, study & work when I'm back in Melbourne again. Place needs to already be home to some cool, trustworthy people who got their own thing going on, but are positive and down with reality. I've lots of experience sharing, am privately renting presently, and can get you actual references if need be. Budget = $250 pw max. (inc bills/inner city location or both) Anywhere close by a station or where the city's within walking distance - with secure backyard - is blitz for me & my furbaby Taco. Taco is a house-trained, medium x-breed (Pointer etc), great to live with - friendly and quiet, except if something suss is going down. Me, I'm just an idiosyncratic badass ie I may have been born yesterday, but I stayed up all night - I've plenty going on so I'm busy enough as is - So only message me if you're genuine. I'm clean, easy-going, give respect where I get it & like my people much the same +enjoy my own space. Up for cooking communally every now & then as is well fun, and appreciate people with good vibes; happy-go-lucky aka fun or chill busy people ~ Not people who want to get all up in my business. Love music, art, being active, dancing, misadventures, reading, etc.. also down for at home early morning, or alternately, evening yoga sessions should time be on my side. If this bio sounds good to you & you love animals then I think we got a match so get in touch! No misogynists, bigots, homophobes, racists, liars, thieves or sociopaths - 'Cause I'm not buying what you're selling. I'm cool with everyone else though! ^_^ Luna♡☆
Hi future flatmate! I am an energetic, social, happy little bunny! I am originally from Sunny California and is currently looking for my next long-term home (6-12 months with the potential for renewal or extension). I am an independent, self-sufficient, and busy 24 year old who is often applauded for being very mature and reliable for my age, but also fun, lively, and easy-going person to be around. I am very respectful of other's space and items. I am also very clean and organised, but not the OCD freak out on you type! And I’m pretty proactive when it comes to communication and needing something to be handled quickly. For work, I am a Corporate Auditor (accountant) for Deloitte and work the usual M-F / 9-5pm schedule. I like to live an active and healthy lifestyle where I enjoy doing yoga, going to the gym, and hopefully cook more for myself! On the weekends, you will always find me where the music is at or on a road trip or having a nice picnic with friends at the park or just exploring what the next new thing this lovely city has to offer! Feel free to reach out if you think we would be great flatmates! Cheers! Jenn P.S. If the living situation is great, then I am someone who does not mind sticking around for a long term aka I am not a hopper! Prior to this, I stayed with a household for 2 years with the intention to renew for another year, but life happened!
Hello everyone! We are Álvaro and Alexandra, and we are a mid-twenties couple who've recently moved to Melbourne! We arrived a few days ago from Barcelona (Spain), our natal city. We’ve come to Australia as students to do an intensive English course and obtain the Cambridge English Advance. Alvaro is a nautical engineer and I’m a technical architect and artist, specialized in design and photography. For both, sport has an important place in our lives. Alvaro has been a professional waterpolo player since he was 8 years old and I was athlete during a lot of years in my live. But in general we like all kind of sports. We live together in Barcelona, and we like keeping the house clean and having good relationships with our flatmates. During free time we like going out with our friends and we really enjoy listening to music at home, festivals or wherever! As students we can work part-time, and although we have saved money to come to Australia, we want to find a job in the next days. We are a very active people and we want to know what it’s like to work in Australia! We need to find a place to live as soon as possible. For now, we will stay in Melbourne during 4 months, but our idea is to stay here at least 1 year. If you think that we can fit with you, let us know! Hoping to see you soon! Álvaro & Alexandra
Open and honest person. Very sociable, banter on tap but do love some quiet myself and respectful of others space. Sprinkle in a pinch of OCD means I’m tidy and orderly but won’t throw a fit if the cutlery draw is a pic’n’mix. Generally clapped so you’ll always feel Vogue. Working part time at the moment. Pushing to bury myself into full time work as I’m quite money minded. Looking for a place where I can cement my foundations, construct friendships and ultimately build a life. Most importantly a place I can call home.
Hi potential flatmates! My name is Brittany and my friend Angelina and I have recently moved from Toronto to Melbourne to work. We are looking for accommodation in one large room or two smaller rooms in a share house. We are both easy going, respectful, neat, friendly and know when it’s time to socialize or when it’s time to do our own thing. Hope to hear from you!! Xx
Hey, I am a 23 year old stakeholder engagement consultant. I enjoy being active, travelling and hanging out with mates. I am looking for a clean house with great housemates who are happy to have a chat and beer but also respect each others space. I also need a place with a garage space for my car. Please reach out if you think I'd be a good fit at your place. I am looking with a mate of mine so it'd be great to find a place with two rooms!

Moved to Melbourne from Sydney about a year ago and loving it so far. Currently working full-time for Australia Post head office. In my spare time I like to read, write, cook, go out to dinner/bars/live gigs/art shows etc etc. I'm generally pretty quiet throughout the week, but always up for a chat over dinner or a glass of wine. I've lived in sharehouses for the last 12 years so I'm well trained in maintaining a friendly/clean house and living environment.
Hey guys, I'm Xuan. I'm super tidy, chilled, and open-minded. When possible, I love going to festivals/gigs. I'm very social and won't say no to a bev (or 7). In my spare time I enjoy watching terrible reality tv, exploring new places to eat (when I can afford it) and hanging out with mates. I'm looking for like-minded house mates I can get to know. Regardless, I definitely value my down time so I'll understand and respect your personal space! Also included in the package is a cute cat named Bochii. He mostly sleeps and is super affectionate once he warms up to you.

Returning to Melbourne after 8 months of traveling through Europe, Africa & the Caribbean, I am looking for a new home preferably in the cosy northern suburbs. I am 26 years old, currently working predominantly in a customer service orientated role & occasionally bartending on weekends. I am a tidy person at home, respectful of shared spaces and mindful of others in a shared household. That being said I enjoy the company of others, having friends over, tending to the garden, art, books, love cooking, sharing meals where possible, social drinking and all kinds of tasteful music.

We respect others and our privacy and like to keep our living clean and tidy. Both of us are working full time and we'll be staying in Melbourne until the end of June. Alex has been studying marine biology and is into climbing and skiing and I have studied tourism management and I am into pilates and cognitive science. Hi! I'm a French 23yo student from Paris, open-minded, clean and easy-going. I'm coming to Melbourne for a job (with a working-holiday visa) as research assistant at the University of Melbourne. I grew as a cross-cultural kid (British-French) so I speak both languages fluently, I love to travel and recent places I've lived in are Montreal, Paris and Grenoble. I have been sharing flats over the past five years with different people from different backgrounds, and all of them went really well and so I am experienced in the art of sharing a home. I'm eco-friendly, I dance and play music, enjoy hiking, running and outdoorsy stuff, relaxing & tea or going out for beers on the evenings or weekends!
Hello, I am uprooting from Sydney to Melbourne in a fortnight and will shortly thereafter like a steady roof over my head. By my own estimation, I'd say I'm quite well domesticated, easy going and organised - though it's difficult to gauge what else I could say to advertise myself on here... Any questions - ask away.
I have just moved to Melbourne and I am looking for a place to live. I am a 22 years old french guy from the Loire Valley. I am a friendly, respectful and clean person. Outgoing, I'm always up for a bit of fun. I like chilling out, reading and sharing a glass of wine around a movie. I enjoy spending my days off meeting new people and exploring the area. Quiet and easy-going, I'm looking for a place that is clean, comfortable and full of life.

Hi! My name's Brooke, and I'm a 20 year old library technician from south-east Melbourne. I'm studying to become a librarian while working in a library Monday-Friday. Currently I am living in the rural south east, and I am wanting to move closer to both work and to Melbourne's nightlife. I am looking for a private room in either the inner southern/eastern/northern Melbourne suburbs, particularly St Kilda, or on the Pakenham train line. Great public transport links are essential. I am in no hurry to move, so the move in date is flexible. I am not looking for anything fancy, just somewhere clean and affordable to call home. If the house and flat mates were a good fit I'd be open to renting long term. A social house would be great so I can make some new friends around my new home, and I'd like to get to know the people I am living with. I don't want to live in a party house, but I'd love to live in the sort of house where we can hang out together over a pint. Ideally I'd be living with other people in their twenties, but I'm not an age snob. I have lived in a share house previously, so I appreciate the importance of communication and respect in making sure we all enjoy living together. I also like to think I'm a friendly, respectful, clean and easy going person. And most importantly... I love cleaning rosters!! I've always been punctual and reliable with rent and bills. More than happy to provide proof of income and financial position to assure you I am able to pay consistently. Monday-Friday are spent working and studying, so I'd be pretty quiet during the week. By the weekend I am your typical 20 year old; I love heading out to the pub or to a gig with friends. That being said, I respect if my potential flat mates want a quiet home and I don't bring the party home with me. I love music and I can be found listening to Oasis literally most of the time. Quite shy at first, but I am outgoing once I've gotten to know people. Please send me a message if you think I'd be a good fit in your house! Cheers!
Hey everybody! My name is Ben, I’m a 29 yo guy from Germany and I’m looking for a double room for me and my girlfriend (25yo brazilian) in Melbourne as soon as possible and we are free to move in anytime. I’m working as a bartender in the CBD, and my girlfriend is studying and working, so the rent and bond is no problem and will be punctual every time! We wanna stay for at least 6 months (probably longer) in this beautiful city and hope we’ll find a good place with awesome mate(s). Would like to live in a social shared house/flat where you hang out together and build some new friendships. About us: - easy going, funny, respectfully, clean, honest - never to late with the rent (fact!) - pretty addicted to Netflix 😅 - would never dare to refuse a MarioKart battle! 🤓 - friendly flat mates who loves to socialise but also need his own space from time to time - LGBT friendly - pet friendly If that sounds okay for you, just shoot me a message. We looking forward to hear something from you! See ya! Cheers Ben and Thais
