Current undergraduate student studying Psychology/Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne and have just transferred from the University of Sydney this semester. I have experienced living with others when I did a French Immersion programme in Quebec City last year and really loved the experience. I enjoy reading, travelling, music, and going to the beach. I am responsible, tidy, honest and considerate. Very happy for my previous host family in Quebec (although some translating may be required as they only speak French!) or my former school principal to be contacted for a character reference.
German Masters student at the University of Melbourne, into sports, reading, going out to restaurants, bars, cinema, museums and hanging out with friends. Clean and tidy and looking for the same.
Hi, I'm Hansine, 21 years, I'm a Human Rights Law Student on exchange in Melbourne so I have a pretty flexible schedule. During the week, uni will be my top-priority, but socialising, trying new things and getting lost in a good book are also up there. I'd love to share a glass of wine or the like and a chat with a potential roommate(s) every now and then, but private space is equally important. Staying healthy and active is important to me, but I'm not preachy!
My names Saffy and I'm 20 years old. I am a full time university student and a part time retail assistant. I'm friendly and tidy. Looking for a kind and welcoming household ASAP. Hopefully I'm the right match for your house, THANKS!

Hi, I've moved to Melbourne to complete my postgraduation in University of Melbourne. I'm 24 years old, I'm an Indian but was born and brought up in Thailand. I plan on being good friends with my roommates and if possible would love to explore the city with them. Looking forward to sharing a place with females with a private room and bathroom (if possible) from as soon as possible.
I’m 22 and work full time as an Account Manager for Printing firm in Docklands. Looking to move closer into the city and my job. I’ve been living out of home for about 6 years now and always been very independent. Currently living in Cranbourne and commuting everyday by the trains. (hate hate hate it!) I’m a reliable and friendly housemate and trustworthy to have rent and bills paid on time! Respectful and courteous to other housemates and visitors. Always been a bit of a social butterfly and love going out with friends and the occasional beer after work but also like to watch a movie and chill out. I’m a rockstar shower singer and play the guitar when I get the chance. Would love the chance to come and meet with you. Xx
I'm a student at Melbourne Uni studying Masters of Physics, which takes up most of my time. I'm great with housework. My favourite things to do are settle down with a good book, mindlessly scroll the interwebs, and chatting with friends. I enjoy my music and you will hear me singing/playing the violin (but not in the middle of the night). I also speak mostly fluent Mandarin. I will respect your privacy. Best wishes :)
I am just moving to Melbourne for a new job offer, and looking for a place as I start my new life in Melbourne! I run my own business and I am expanding to Melbourne. I am tidy and clean, and quite the minimalist (I don't like clutter). I work early mornings and evenings, with the middle of the day free where I like to cook, prepare for the week and plan sessions for my clients. I am quite active, and Will be in and out of the house during the day as I love going to different classes and studios and walking/running & brunches!! Hope to find a great place so soon!
Pool lifeguard studying health science in Sydney and now moving to Melbourne! I have a love for sport, fitness, animals and making new friends! I adore nature and being outdoors with mates but also don't mind the occasional night in:) I've got a big sense of humour and as a tidy, punctual and down to earth guy, I'm a sinch to live with!
Hi there, my name's Matthias, 25 y/o, international student from Berlin spending one semester at Melbourne University and taking classes in Communication and Political Science. I consider myself to be an easy going, considerate, relaxed housemate and have lived in flat shares for the last five years, so I know the do's and don'ts. I love traveling (that's part of the reason why I'm here), cooking, trying (veg.) foods from all over the world and will probably pick up some sport while I'm here. I like it quiet at times but hardly ever say no to a coffee or beer and a chat. I'm also into languages, so if any of my future housemates are keen on practicing French or Spanish - I'm in! I'll be in Melbourne until early December. Seeking to move in asap. So if you're interested, don't hesitate to contact me!
I've house shared for the better part of ten years so I feel this has left me with a pretty keen awareness of the general do's and dont's of sharing protocol. I hold a permanent job and am always reliable with rent, very respectful of common areas and really like to make a place feel like a home (... the occasional meal, drink, chat together, that type of thing). I'd describe myself as warm, with a dark, self-deprecating sense of humour, an extroverted introvert insofar as being quite outgoing and social, but also needing quite a bit of downtime to retreat and decompress. Food-wise, I generally fend for myself most days but love to cook for the house when the occasion calls ... I cook 100% vego but that's largely because I-just-fucking-love-vegetables / have sub-optimal meat cooking abilities. I work for the public service in multicultural affairs, though I'm just about to drop to 3 days a week to start studying my first undergrad degree at Melbourne Uni. I am very food orientated, enjoy cooking, and eating my way through Melbourne's cafes and restaurants, and I've also been learning how to swing dance for the last year. I've also recently jumped onto the podcast bandwagon (S Town, This American Life, Radiolab, et al ... ) Finally, I also have a cat named Brian: a devastatingly handsome, affable tabby. He will enthusiastically headbutt you to indicate affection. He lives outdoors by day and on my bed of an evening ... may or may not have a few memes made in his honour (provided upon request).
My name is Diego I'm 27 years old from Colombia living in Melbourne from the last three years I'm a full time chef working in lygon street. l'm easy going, clean and I like Share occasionally a glass of wine or a meal in my day off with they people that I live with, I'm pretty organised, respectful and I have a really high sense of responsibility paying bills and rent.
Hi there, I'm a 21yr old exchange student from Ireland looking for a place to stay for ideally 12 months. I'm studying economics at the university of Melbourne, I'm very friendly and would love to stay with all kinds of people! Interests wise, I love cycling, cooking and plan on learning how to scubadive while here in Australia I'm looking for somewhere that's relatively close to uni and not too loud or rowdy during the week but I'd love to get a coffee or beer with my possible future housemate(s)!
Hey future housemate, it's me, Nicolas. I am 23 years old and I study Chemical Engineering in Germany but now I am finally here - in lovely Melbourne - ready for my exchange semester at Unimelb and my internship afterwards. I grew up in Colombia but my parents are German-Colombians, so culturally speaking I am sort of a mix of both countries. I have lived for 5 years in Germany in a shared flat, so I know how it works and I know what it means respecting others personal space and sharing the house duties. As to me, I am absolutely into having great conversations and doing some sport (and of course dancing Latin American Music ;) )or just hang out a little bit and chill. And if you would like to practice your Spanish or German, let's go.
Hi I'm Jess! I work full-time in a software solution company that is relocating me from Manhattan to Melbourne in mid-August for at least a year. I'm super excited for this move, and have visited Melbourne 3 times already! I've lived with flatmates since graduating college "uni," both girls and guys, and am pretty easy going. I love exploring new places, going out for drinks, sarcasm, and not taking myself too seriously, so writing this 'about me' is a little challenging. If you think people who only post selfies are ridiculous, enjoy a good meme, and like self-deprecating humor, we'll probably get along. Work usually keeps me busy during the week, but happy to chill with flatmates or solo after. Move in date is flexible once I arrive 14th August, but hoping to find a place sooner than later! P.S. I'm American, so obviously this is a flowery, unnecessarily wordy post, with too many "I" statements :)
