Hi all! I'm looking to team up with someone (male or female) to apply for our own lease of a house. I have most furniture already - just sort your own bedroom out and we'd be set.

Must love dogs! As I have two, they get spoiled a bit! They love attention and live both indoor & outdoors. A decent sized, fully fenced yard is a must. They're 4 &10 years old, the younger one is a bit of a guard dog so I'm quite wary of guests being in the house when I'm not home - It takes her a bit to warm up to people, so there needs to be some rules there. Both dogs are very loving and affectionate, the young one just doesn't like strangers.

I'm pretty cruisy & have my own business (I sometimes work from home). I do enjoy watching TV series, movies & sports at home. I like to cook/barbecue and make my own beef jerky - so a decent kitchen and (preferably) an undercover barbecue area is high on my list.
I'm respectful of people's privacy but don't want to feel like I'm living with a stranger. So us getting along, being able to cook/eat/have a drink together occasionally is the best option from my experience.
I'm open to covering most of the rent & bond myself where you would basically be a tenant of mine or, if it's affordable to you too we could look at larger, nicer properties. I'm used to paying $500pw rent. I've lived in Hamilton (work is in Broadmeadow) for about 8 years now and have got so used to everything being close by - I'd love to stay around the area.
