Oh hi potential roommate/s!

I’m looking for a new place to live as my current roomies are having a baby (great for them, sad for me). I'm in Miami now and would love to stay around here, so looking between Mermaid Beach, Miami and Burleigh. I'm not in a huge rush and can be flexible with timing - more looking for the right fit!

I'm a house-proud person and I'll make sure our space is cosy, clean and peaceful. I've lived in share houses for years and I'm well-house trained. I’m looking for a drama-free place that feels like home, where we have the odd dinner/wine/coffee, beach adventure or yap about our days and are conscientious of each other. In saying that, I’m also super independent and know everyone needs alone time, as do I.

More about me:
I'm 33 and a sociable person - you'll always catch me out and about with friends. I'm an active gal and love the gym, any kind of market, am learning to surf (failing miserably), love live music and stand up comedy, cafe vibes and don't mind a cheeky pint here and there. I've travelled loads, backpacked around Latin America for a few years and lived in Ireland too.

My friends would say I’m open minded, social and a creative go-getter.

Cons of living with me:
Terrible cook (could be considered a pro), non-functional without coffee, can’t do maths or tell 24 hour time, directionally challenged, cannot be trusted around a mint slice biccy, hates wearing pants, scared of cockroaches.

Pros of living with me:
Excellent plant mum, I make my own candles so the house will smell elite, outstanding interpersonal skills, always up for adventures, doesn't leave the toilet seat up, can make a house a home, love a vintage/art deco vibe, fab taste in music, pays bills on time.

Logistical stuff:
I work from home sometimes and would love it if there's a space for my desk to not be in my bedroom (the vibes be off working where you sleep). But, not a total deal breaker! Otherwise, definitely need a room that will fit a desk. Walking distance to the beach and a cafe would also be great, but not a deal breaker. And if you have pets, I will love them like my own.
