Thanabammini

My name is Thanabammini Balasaravanan, and I am an 18-year-old student currently studying Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the University of Queensland. I will be entering my second year of both bachelor’s degrees in 2024. Originally from South Australia, where my family still resides, I moved to Brisbane to pursue my studies and have thoroughly enjoyed living in this vibrant city. Alongside my studies, I work as a private high school tutor, where I help students excel academically, a passion I’ve developed over the years.

I am a responsible tenant and have just completed a 12-month lease in St Lucia, the same suburb where I am applying to rent again. During my time as a tenant, I have always been punctual with rent payments, maintained a clean and tidy living environment, and was respectful of both the property and my neighbors. I have never had any complaints, noise disruptions, or property damages, and I pride myself on being a polite and considerate tenant. I value peaceful living, am a non-smoker, and prefer a quiet and focused environment.

In terms of my interests, I am an avid musician and can play the piano, guitar, and double bass. I also have a deep love for languages and am fluent in English, Tamil, Japanese, and French. I enjoy meditation and journaling as part of my routine, which helps me maintain balance with my studies. Cleanliness is also a priority for me; I ensure my living space is well-maintained, with regular vacuuming and tidying. I also enjoy using diffusers to keep my living space fresh and welcoming.
