Hi! I'm Tahlia, in my final year at UQ studying political science. My current housemate is moving in with her girlfriend so I'm in need of a new place to call home. I'm looking for a chill space where I can recharge at the end of the day. I'm happy to have a chat with housemates and an occasional dinner, but also keen to have my own space. When I'm not studying or working, you can find me curled up in bed with Netflix, a cuppa and some arts and/or crafts.
Hi Im a builder and looking for a place for my partner, maltese shihtzu and I. Ideally something separate (downstairs or auxillary dwelling) with our own kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, storage for my tools and equipment close to my ute would be good. I own a house in Cleveland and its too far from the city and too expensive for us so we are renting it out asap. Long term stay to save for our next renovation/property investment project. I can renovate your house for cheap if required. Thank you. www.apcconstruction.com.au
Hi! I'm a film student at Griffith University and a freelance photographer based in Brisbane. I'm the quiet/creative type, but I don't mind having a drink or two with my housemates!
Bonjour! We are an Australian and French couple seeking 2 other people to team up with for a very nice house in West End, Highgate Hill or Milton. Shelby works at a yoga studio and Félix is a Freelance Digital Designer. We are down to earth, relaxed, respectful, positive and open minded, active (yoga, biking, skating, hiking), creative (art, photography, design), into music and gigs and also huge animal lovers. 🌱 We would really love to create a friendly vegan/veg share house with those that are more concerned and passionate about ethical and sustainable living.
Hi ! I'm Clémence, a French student in Biology ! I'll spend 3 months in Brisbane for an internship. I'm looking forward to discovering Australia and meeting new people ! I'm easy-going, I love sport (especially orienteering), travelling, watching tv shows, hanging out with my friends..... Well, a lot of things actually! I already live in a shared house, so I'm used to be clean and tidy, I also cook pretty good ! So if you have a private room for me near Mater Research (or not too far) available for 3 months beginning end of May, just let me know ! :) PS: I'll have a friend of mine who will also do her internship in Brisbane, so if there are 2 private rooms available in the same share house, for the same period, it could be great !
Hi all! I'm Eden, a 20y/o nursing student at UQ. I've lived in sharehouses for two years now and have never been late with rent or bills. I'm always keen to help out around the place and like to keep things tidy. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, however also appreciate some time to chill out. I get along with pretty much everyone and am very easy-going and relaxed, but also well-organised and respectful. I love a good night out but like to keep pretty balanced throughout the week. Am a huge fan of indoor plants and would love to live in a vibey home with like-minded people. Hit me up if you reckon I'd be a good addition to your house, or if you want to know anything else about me!
I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but ready to move back to brisbane now. I'm a freelance editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll probably find other part-time work as well, as well as volunteer work (with the homeless) and various other things to do. I'm 28, non-smoker, non-annoying.
Hi, I'm Bec! I'm a freelance editor (I work from home) in my honours year of psyc at UQ. I volunteer as the treasurer for a student society and as an LGBT peer support counsellor. I’m often home, but am usually working at home. I mostly keep to myself but am happy to be friends and have a chat! I have mobility issues due to chronic illness, so am avoiding internal stairs. I’m medically heat intolerant (nightmarish) so would love somewhere with good airflow/air con/etc. I also have plant children. I love them, even though they don't love me rn. I'd ideally only like to live with one other person (or a granny flat/studio), a female if poss. Also, I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend and talk about her lots. I flag that I’m queer bc it makes it easier for someone to just move past my listing if need be. So. That’s me!
Hi there. I'm interested in moving in to a house with a like-minded, responsible yet fun group of people. I'm a UQ student who spends quite a bit of time studying (Econ/Finance) but also like to have downtime with some bevs. I also have a steady casual job as an admin assistant at UQ, which covers for my expenses. I grew up in Brisbane since I was little and I'm of Korean descent but I promise I won't stink up the fridge with my mum's kimchi. Give me a holla if you like what you hear :-)
I’m brazilian and will be studying a master at UQ for 2 years. Back home I graduated as an industrial engineer and worked for about 2 years after grad. Then I decided to get myself over here. I’ve lived in Australia in 2010 as a rotary exchange student and loved it. Indeed, here I am again. I did year 11 in Batlow, NSW. I like to play tennis, love road-trips and motorbikes and plan to run my first half-marathon this year. On top of that I'm going to be working and studying, so things should be busy! When I can, I love having a beer and going out. I'm very easy to deal with... I've lived in different sharehouses and always got along pretty well. This time I'm looking for something a little more orderly to make the day-to-day easier. At the same time with a nice good mood to do things together sometimes. Hope to hear from you, cheers!
I am a single mature female, quiet, responsible, reliable, non-smoker, social drinker, active and interactive but like my own space, occasional shared meals would be OK, looking to share somewhere in postcode 4101 with 1 or at most 2 other females, preferably in a house not a unit. A Queenslander would be perfect! I work from home some days so need my own room with space for a desk and computer. Yes I am over 60 but please don't write me off 'cos of my age. I love movies and music, have lived and worked overseas and have some interesting stories to share!
Hi! I am looking for a home in Brisbane to move into as soon as possible as I begin my dual degree of psychology and nutrition at UQ. Looking for a place that feels homey with housemates I'd call a friend. Let me know if you match the features I'm after 😊: • Walking, biking or under 30min public transport distance to UQ in St Lucia • With a large size room with lots of natural light, at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, mirror, a few wardrobes and drawers. • With outdoor area/s like a yard, deck or spot that gets a decent amount of direct sun throughout the day. • Not lots of road noise • Decently spacious kitchen (to make you cake on your birthday 😉) About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and both a respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own meals which are wholefood plant-based- however I'm really not fussed on what anyone else eats. I love cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. I'm passionate about eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
Hey everyone! I'm a former Aussie, currently living in Canada looking for a place to stay as I spend about a month in Australia. I'm very easy going, open minded and love meeting new people. Australia is one of my favourite places in the world and I made the spontaneous decision of leaving Canada for a month to explore what Australia has to offer. I'm passionate about a healthy lifestyle and fitness and would do anything to be as accommodating as possible as a roommate.
I'm doing my PhD in Psychology at UQ for the next 2.5 years and have been living in Brisbane for the entirety of my adult life. Having lived in shared houses for most of the time I've been here, I recognize the importance of being transparent and communicative, on top of being considerate, open-minded, neat and tidy. While I occasionally like to have my own space to unwind, I generally would like to be friends with my housemate(s) and be helpful and caring. I'm generally very laidback, understanding, enjoy a good laugh and banter. I enjoy movies, catch-up with friends, rock climbing, adventure of any kind. I'm also a vegetarian approaching vegan, but I'm fine living with living with any diet types and not at all militant about it. I'd like to minimize my carbon footprint and organize my life somewhat towards that goal. I'd like to live in West End, Highgate Hill area or at the very least, anywhere with direct bus or walking distance to UQ campus in St.Lucia. I have bedroom furniture so I'm looking for an unfurnished bedroom in a furnished apartment. Happy to answer any question.
Hey potential house-mates and landlords! . I'm looking for a room with a decent amount of space, 4*4 ish (bigger the better), as I don't like living in small rooms and have plenty of things to fill a room with. My ideal place has plenty of grass and trees, high ceilings, a cat or three, a nice view and a happy medium of being in an accessible area and still quite peaceful (not super keen on living on main roads). A casual social environment in the home is also preferred. I would also like to be able to set up my drumkit and other instruments such a harp, guitar, didgeridoo...(weather that be in a my larger room or a garage or similar... and be able to practice a few times a week for an hour or so in the middle of the day/afternoon. I'm generally very considerate with noise and understand that not everyone is keen on being around drumming etc. . I'm Keen on cleaning up after myself, especially in the kitchen/bathroom and communal areas. I like to keep fit and healthy and spend at least monday and wednesday nights out exercising. Into explore nature, doing some photography, dancing, ice skating etc... . I co-facilitate Yin Yoga Sound Healing workshops, do some busking when i'm feeling it, and have some super flexible casual work getting clients for a photographer... amongst a couple of other projects. I'm also studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology part time at UQ, so transport options are going to play an important part in where i want to live. . Feel free to get in touch if you'd like show me what you got, cheers.
So a bit about me ... I keep busy working upwards of 20 hours a week and study marketing full time at QUT. I’m hoping to find a cute place close to uni! I’m social and am preferably looking for a place with more of a homey vibe and to be friends with the people I live with but ultimately can keep to myself if necessary. I’m also in need of either on street or off street parking! In my spare time I’m usually spending time with friends or going to gigs and bars. I’m reliable, clean, outgoing and respectful! Would be happy to supply recent payslips or anything else to prove my income. Looking forward to finding a gorgeous place! 🌈
Hi! I'm María, from Spain. I'm a Spanish teacher and I'm moving to Brisbane at the end of February to start my work and holiday visa. I'm a clean, quiet and respectful person, I like to have my own space but I also love a good chat and a coffee or a beer. I love travelling and languages, photography, basketball, pilates, zumba and hiking. I'm looking for a private furnished room.
Heya! I'm Georgia and I’m now a full-time student at Griffith Nathan. I'm looking for a chill place to stay for a couple of months until my sister and I can get a place together. I'm a very respectful and responsible person. I have been living out of home for around 2 years now, so I've been in a share house before. Rent will always be on-time and I am more then happy to help with house chores. I tend to stay to myself and am often in my room (if not at uni or whatever), but am always up for a chat and maybe a few drinks. Most of the time, you wouldn't even notice I'm home. P.s. I will only take a private room and preferably large room, and I also have my own queen sized bed. Also needs to be okay with my boyfriend and younger sisters visiting. Don't hesitate to ask questions and please let me know if I'm of any interest and my criteria fits :)
Hi I'm Matt, I'm 24 years old. I'm an apprentice carpenter so during the week I'm always out of the house by 7AM and usually not back until the evening. Outside of work I enjoy cooking & eating healthily, I go to the gym regularly and on weekends I like to go on hikes, go surfing or go 4wding. Looking for a share house anywhere fairly central in Brisbane as I can be working up towards the sunny coast one day and down towards the goldy the next. Hoping to move in with some like minded people who are able to respect each others privacy & keep a tidy house but also up for sharing a few cold ones on the weekend. Would prefer off street parking & would prefer a house to an apartment (my ute usually doesn't fit in underground car parks). Want to move in ASAP Message me here or on Insta: mstokesx
Heya, let's create a wonderful new home together! I'm a friendly, independent art, nature, music 'n dance lover. Aiming to set up a sweet home vibe: relaxed tranquility balanced with considerate fun times. I'm into languages, ecology, small festivals; enjoy eating well and wine with company; adore the ocean, plus leafy and comfy surrounds. I'm searching for a new house and housemates btwn now and 15 March. Looking for people to apply for a house with me (and / or new housemates) in West End/ Highgate Hill. I have great rental references, work at UQ, have furniture for communal areas, plants and a fridge if you/ we need it but I'm fine to combine or cull. I'm happy to live with up to 3 or 4 people as long as the house is super spacious enough, has 2 bathrooms and people respect clean communal areas for harmony and comfort. This is my current situation - amazing large home; 2 decks, inviting kitchen, multiple living areas - but the house has been sold and sadly, my homies are leaving West End. From Feb 23 to March 15, i.e., until we find a new place, there's a beautiful room for you here if you need it. Note: my current housemates are 24 to 32 yrs old. I'm older than age above but my lifestyle is vibrant; I have heaps of positive energy; go to art shows, gigs; and the photo is me now. I hope this is okay to disclose; I like to live with people of any age who love laughter and spirited energy too. Please get in touch to chat if it sounds like we could get along. I'm pretty green, very clean, open - minded and I'm flexible with move dates before mid March. Chat soon! :)
