Heya, I'll be getting back from overseas around the 25th of July and will be looking for a new place to fill with my plants ! I've been living up in Brissie for a year now, studying Education (Maths/History) at UQ. In my spare time, I'm into climbing, cooking, sketching, salsa, and basketball, and I am terrible at all of the above so always appreciate new people to practice with. Also go for hiking/beach day trips when I get the chance, and would be happy to bring y'all along. Looking to move into a social sharehouse with reasonably easy access to uni. I'm a massive procrasti-cleaner so, for the sake of my productivity, I'm hoping to move in with people who also keep things reasonably clean. No pets of my own - but if you have any that's a definite bonus. NB: Might be a bit slow on the replies while I'm away!! But will reply as soon as I get the chance so please do chuck me a message if you think I'd be interested :~)
Hi guys! Nicole and I are a couple from Taiwan. We are slightly shy but very friendly, tidy and accommodating. We're visiting Australia by using a working holiday visa, and we study in Language School at this moment for a better communication with others! Cooking is either my job or hobby, producing good food and keep things clean and ordered is my duty and responsibility. Looking forward to receiving any question for us: )
Hi there! My name is Nikkie and I am a 29yo from Adelaide. My partner James is a 28yo from Dublin. We are seeking a room to rent in a share house with like minded people. We met each other in Vancouver, Canada over 4 years ago. We both lead healthy, active lifestyles and both keep busy with full time work. We enjoy travel and socializing with a beer for five on the weekend, but we respect peoples privacy. We are clean and tidy, and love cooking together... for house mates too :)!
I'm a PhD student at UQ looking to relocate somewhere closer to the West End. I'm French/New Zealander and have been living in Brisbane for about 18 months, but I'd like to be closer to where all my friends are! Most days I'm fairly busy with Uni (I'm on a full scholarship so financially stable) but I like to work from home once or twice a week. I study ecology, so I'm pretty big into animals and nature and all that stuff. Speaking of, I've got my best buddy with me, a lovely short-haired dog named Montgomery. He's well house-trained and loves people, but medium-size so I am looking for a place with high fences so he can chill in the garden without any bother :) He loves to play with the ball and is a great cuddler, and I walk him every day so he's nice and quiet when at home. When I'm not working, I like to chill out, go to the markets, cook some good food, do a bit of yoga and the like. I'm friendly and easy-going, I do love a good night out from time to time but most evenings I'm pretty quiet and I also appreciate a bit of privacy and alone-time. My moving-in dates are really flexible, I just need to give my current flatmates 2-weeks notice. I'm not looking to move in till mid-August though as I'm going overseas for a couple of weeks just before.
I am a friendly and outgoing psychology student from Norway, currently on exchange at the University of Queensland. I love to meet new people, and would appreciate a social share house! People describe me as clean, tidy and social, but also mindful of others privacy.
I am an exchange student from Japan to UQ until 21st of November. My current contract will end on 6th of August so I am looking for a house to move which has a private room. I am very clean and friendly person!
I am a 47 year old female, non-smoker (marketing professional) with three very cute, clean and well-behaved little pooches. I am very clean, respectful, considerate and have all of my own furniture and am wanting to downsize and stop running an entire house myself. I do need some storage and would love off-street parking. I am looking for a clean granny flat/small house in which my puppies can have a little, fenced off yard/area as we go for walks every single day so they don't need much yard. Please contact me if you have something suitable as I'm really keen to move soon. Thanks, Kareen/Reeny.
Hi! I'm Adele. I'm currently living on the Gold Coast but studying at UQ. Obviously that is quite the commute, so I would like to move up to Brisbane, but I want to have a look around the area first and see what I think. Therefore, I'm looking for somewhere short-term so I can get a feel for the area. I'm a very quiet person and I plan on spending most of my time studying, so I am not looking for a party-type sharehouse or anything of the like.
Hi! I am currently looking for a place to move into within the next few weeks. I am an easy going and tidy person to live with, I love a laugh and good chats however keep to myself and am busy most of the time; currently working part time and I am a student at UQ studying nursing. Please message me if you are interested in a meet up for a room :)
I just graduated from University of Adelaide and will move to Brisbane for my master degree. I will move to there this month, just on 23th. so I have to find a place before I arrive. Background: I will study information system and applied finance in UQ. 21-year-old female, non-smoker, pets friendly, international student-China. likes: traveling, squashing, skating, cooking, swimming...... would like to try new things! Rental History: Currently, I am renting an apartment from an agent (more than 1 year). I paid rents on time and cleaned the apartment by myself.
A chemical engineering student that is either at UNI, work or sleeping... Other than that, I enjoy hanging out with friends, cooking (to some degree) and also just relaxing. Because sometimes, nothing is better than a whole day of being antisocial and not seeing anyone.
So I'm new to Brisbane and up for having some fun, I may be getting on but am not dead yet. I work during the week but prefer to be in a house where I'm not the only one having a few drinks at the weekend, plus excursions to the beach and anywhere else good for a laugh if we get along. I'm from the UK, spent time recently in Ibiza, India and a year in China before here, may live and die in Brisbane but may not, maybe fancy South America or mainland Europe at some point so will kinda try and work on my Spanish as and when. Other stuff I do: cycle around, am planning to try and learn to surf, chill watching movies and the IT Crowd at the moment (I'm a geek subjects teacher, not IT though so can't fix your laptop) and similar stuff etc etc etc
Looking for a private room (unfurnished) in a shared household or people to team up with to get a place that I would be able to call home. I would prefer to move in at the end of July and if possible around The PA hospital. I'm very friendly and easy to get along with. I like to keep my environment tidy and i'm always up for a drink or two ;) srsly y'all hit me up
I'm a french student in London(+33) and I'll just have the chance to go on a placement year (between 2nd and 3rd year) in Australia! I am looking for cool people to live with. Indeed the accommodation is important.. But the flatmates! Much more! (622) So yeah if you are not too dirty in the shared areas, respectful and most importantly that you're honest. That you can (4659) tell me if I am doing something wrong directly and vice-versa you are the right one! We can team up with someone (72) else as cool as we are hahaa ;) Drop me a message to can get to know each other! If u don't want to pay either my number is kind of spread above
I'm an exchange student from Denmark studying computer science at QUT for the semester. When school is out, i'm planning og driving around for a while exploring the sights and the surf. I'm a social, active, and outgoing guy with a passion for cooking. I play music (but don't worry, I haven't brought any instruments), I surf (did bring a surfboard though), I sail, and I used to play a ton of sports. I'm tidy, and have lived on my own or with roommates since I was 18. I enjoy being social with my roommates, but totally respect and also have a need for some alone-time. For fun I enjoy spots, cultural events, gigs, city walks, and if you have a PlayStation i'll beat you at FIFA.
Hi! I'm a 24 y/o girl from Sweden looking for a room to rent. I will be an exchange student at the UQ (Semester 2). I'm an easy going, clean, happy and social person. I love to do sports, be active and spend time with friends. I get easily along with other people and am used to living with others. Let me now if you have a room for rent and feel free to ask further questions :)
Hey there, my name is Ben and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Economics and working casually in retail. I mainly spend my time playing board games, having a nice brunch with friends, and drinking good coffee when I'm not studying. When I'm home I generally keep to myself although I'm definitely up for making friendships, drinking some wine, eating some snacks and watching TV whenever suits. I'm clean, punctual with rent/bills, and reliable. Thanks, Ben.
Hello future flatmates!! My name's Tom and I'm currently studying psychology full time at the University of Queensland! Things I love: - Music - Adventures (weekend trips to the coast etc) - Movies - Reading - Really bad karaoke and really bad dancing - A good chat - A good bevy! (especially combined with a good chat) My ideal share house would be a space where we all respect the shared areas and the need for privacy and quiet when sleeping and studying etc, but are also up for some fun! ✌️
Hey! I've just moved to Brisbane from Canberra to start my Masters of Speech Pathology and am looking for a place to live. I'm always happy to meet new people and hang out but I also respect people's privacy and enjoy having my own space. I love sport (especially soccer, touch football, and afl) and being active in general. I'm always up for a good adventure, I'm a clean person, and a non-smoker.
Hi, my name is Paul. I'm an international student from Germany and study at UQ. I am a friendly and easy person to get along with, i love the outdoors, traveling and surfing. I have lived in shared apartments before, used to clean up after myself, and always open for a chat or things to do. Let me know! Cheers, Paul
An international exchange student from the United States. I am very clean and don't require a large space, I'm fine sharing a living location with many people. I'm hoping to live in a location convenient to UQ campus and hospitals (I'm a nursing student). Preferably walking distance to Uni with other students.
My name is Kiara I'm 20 currently studying interior design and working part time. I'm tidy, respectful and don't mind a good bevvy. I love cooking and tending to my struggling peace lily.
Social, respectful, tidy and quiet UQ Masters student. Looking for a single room with all bills included in the rent for 200pw and if possible a bathroom that I don't have to share 😊
