Hi! I'm Holly and I'm moving to Brisbane to start uni in February. I'm from a small country town and just finished school. I'm looking for something student friendly close to the Queensland College of Art at South Bank which is where I'll be studying animation. I'd make a great roommate because I'm patient, understanding and grew up with siblings so I know how to get along with people. I'm quite social but also enjoy time to myself. I'm interested in music, art and film. Feel free to message if you have something available :)
I am a fun and bubbly American about to pursue my Masters at UQ in February. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert, as I love meeting new people and exploring new places. While I will need my space once in a while, I love to chit chat, listen to music, watch movies, have a beer, etc. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but will also respect the importance of studying, work obligations, etc. I've been living with roommates for quite a few years now so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. Looking for location that balances out UQ and the city center!
Hi, I'm Vanessa. I'm from Adelaide, but relocating to Brisbane on the first weekend of February to study Robotics at the Uni of Queensland. I'm looking for a furnished room with a bed, desk and car parking space as I will be driving up. I enjoy road tripping, cooking, art and language (I can speak German). I get along well with all types of people and nationalities, but would prefer a quiet and studious non-smoking house. I'm clean and tidy and will be spending most of my time studying or working part time. Feel free to shoot me a PM !

Hi there! I'm a medical student from Toronto and have just moved to Brisbane to study at UQ. I'm social and outgoing but also respect privacy and space. I enjoy sports, fitness, food, and a good conversation! I don't drink or smoke (sort of health obsessed because you know... medical student). Would love to meet new people and explore beautiful Brisbane!
We have both recently graduated from university, and will be starting full time work in 2018 (Bridget as a vet tech and Bec in the legal industry). We are both easy going, social people who like to live in a clean and tidy space. We are interested in fitness and health and on weekends we enjoy getting outside or catching up with friends, we also enjoy cooking. Ideally we are looking for another person to team up with us and find a house or townhouse. We also have quite a bit of furniture (including a fridge and washing machine). If you think you would be a good fit, please send us a message!
Hi! My name is Matthys and I'm 19 years old. I finished my gap year working in Australia and Overseas as a lifeguard and I'm very excited to start studying biomedical science at UQ in 2018! I like to think of myself as very friendly and easy to get along with. When I'm not studying or working, I love spending time with my friends and being active but enjoy time relaxing at home just as much. My two biggest hobbies are bodybuilding and reading, though I'm trying to teach myself cooking (hope you like tasting my experiments!). I'm very tidy, respectful of personal space and privacy and hope to find accomodation with other students. Thanks for reading!
Hello! My name is Chloe, and I'm from the U.S. I'm studying medicine at UQ, which is what brings me to Brisbane. I'll probably be studying a lot during the week, but I'm real easy-going and always up for going out for food or drinks when I can. In my free time, I love to read, spend time with friends, as well as cook and bake! I'm a tidy and respectful roommate, and looking for someone similar to share a place with :)
Hi there, Jane and I are looking for a person to share a house/ apartment/ townhouse with for about 2 months starting from the beginning of Feb. We are both easy-going, respectful, kind, clean people and are just generally here for a good laugh. We have a friend wishing to move in with us at the start of April, however, cannot afford the costs of the 3rd room in the mean time. Would be great if you could help us out!!
Hey:) I'm a Melbourne girl moving to Brisbane to study medicine. I'm looking for a relaxed and friendly place to call home close to UQ and the matter hospital. I intend to work alongside my studies so I would appreciate a more relaxed base rather than a party house. I enjoy cooking, getting outside and chats over tea. I'm very easy to get along with and look forward to getting to know you :) The main things that I'm looking for are: - A private room large enough for a queen bed and desk. - Proximity to UQ uni - A smoke-free house - AC is a plus Message me to find out more:)
so i'm a 22 years old female, i'm an economics and finance student at the University of Queensland, i'm new to Queensland, however i've lived in Melbourne for a good year and half. i'm quiet but also talkative, depending on how long you've known me, I'm clean and tidy, and have great respect for others' privacy since I value my own a lot. I enjoy getting to know new people over healthy meals (I'm vegan, so don't worry I bring my own dishes and like to keep the cooking utensils separate) and fun cocktails. not a smoker, except for the occasional social cigarette --- not at home, of course. not a heavy drinker or loud party animal, either. i read, swim, watercolour painting, sketching, taking photos on my SLR, a coffee drinker, tea sipper, run, enjoy hiking, trekking, being active, listen to classic rock, blues, jazz, soul, indie rock, and pop, watch old classic and foreign films. 2018 is gonna be a challenging year for me, so i'm looking for a place where I can just immerse myself in work and uni, but i do love a good chat on in a while!
Hello! I'm an easy going and relaxed, tidy housemate looking for a home in Brissy! I'm starting my Masters of Nursing at UQ after doing my undergraduate degree in Sydney. I'll also be working part time. Originally from Byron and have spent the last 6 months on the Sunshine Coast. Would love a place with a dog but not a deal breaker! Flexible with length of stay.
I'm a UQ student so looking to live nearby to uni. I spend most of my time at work or uni, but still looking for a sociable place to live and I'm always up for a chat. I'm a tidy person and respect personal space, so hoping to live with people looking for the same thing.
Hi, my name is Fatih and I’m a 24-year-old student from Germany. Next semester 1 (starting in Feb 12, 2018) I will be an exchange student at QUT for one semester until the mid/end of June 2018. Therefore, I am looking for a nice room to stay during this time somewhere close to QUT Gardens Point campus. I am a very easy-going and sociable person, wipe the benches after I make food and regularly purchase house supplies. I have lived in share houses the last 5 years of my life nin 3 different countries and with flatmates from probably every corner of the world. As you can see, I like multi-cultural atmospheres and love hanging up or going out with my flatmates. Moreover, I do a lot of sports such as football/soccer or going to the gym. I will arrive in Brisbane on Feb 11 but it’s definitely not a problem for me to stay in a hostel for the first week and move into the room on Feb 17 or so. If you want, we can skype before I come to Australia or I can come to see you and the place once I arrived in Brisbane. Thanks a lot and best regards from Germany Fatih
I am extremely quiet, clean and conscientious, and spend a lot of time out of the house either working or studying in my room (BEnvSci student at Griffith University). In saying that i'm very personable and I am always down for a chat when other roommates are around. Live music is my lifeblood and am always down to go see a gig if that's what you're into. I also DO NOT own a car, so being close to several modes of public transport would be a plus :) which also means I wont take up any valuable street or off-street parking you may have!
I'm a positive, open-minded, adventurous, relaxed, tidy person and am on the prowl for some great humans to live with! I'm studying my master's degree in conservation biology at UQ. I love travel, dancing, hiking, movie nights and being a social butterfly. I have a fair bit happening between study and work but I always like to make time to get outdoors, go out for a drink, get the creative juices flowin', have a chat with a cuppa or just chill out in my own space. I'd like to live with easygoing, fun-loving, tidy people in a place that has good vibes and feels like home. I adore animals and am happy to live with them, just not an indoor cat as I'm a little allergic to them. I move out of my current place the 21st of January, but my dates could be a little flexible to a week or so before to a couple of weeks after.
Hey I'm Sarah! I'm an easy-going 26yo, working full-time as a Graphic Designer/Web Developer in the South Bank area. I love to spend my weekends at the beach, relaxing or catching up with friends. I also like to stay active and love to cook and enjoy a sneaky wine or two every now and then. I'm very clean, tidy and super considerate when it comes to living with others. I'm looking for a place to call home with roommates I can call friends. Any questions, feel free to send me a message.
I work full time and live a healthy lifestyle. I have one quiet and clean adult cat that chills all day.
21 year-old student studying law/psych full-time at UQ, in my 4th year. I've been living out of home for a year and a half now and just looking for a change to meet new people and shake it up a bit. I'm a chill guy to live with and am usually at uni / work for most of the week during Semester. I am also a musician, so I bring some gear / tunes / vibes with me I hope. Keen on house-sharing or just a room.
I've been studying and working in Brisbane for one year and I'm planning to stay a few years more. I have traveled around South America for one year before I came to Australia, and this travel just changed completely the way I see life. I love to share thoughts, be surrounded by happy and easy going people. I practice yoga and meditation. I'm interested in alternative ways of living, permaculture, organic food production.
Hi! I'm Eddie, looking for a new place close to UQ. I study architecture and write music for classical ensembles. I'm tidy, easy going and fairly quiet.
Hi everyone :) I'll be moving to Brisbane this February to study my masters in Social Work. I'm 27 (nearly 28), originally from Mullumbimby in Northern NSW, very friendly, down to earth, respectful of others, and a non smoker/drinker (however I don't have a problem with those that do). I've just returned to Australia after living in Indonesia for the last 5 years, and would love to find a sharehouse that feels like a real home, with housemates who are kind-hearted, and enjoy sitting down together for a cup of tea and a good chat. Hoping to find a room in West End or surrounding inner city suburbs. I can afford $175/week INCLUDING bills.
Hey guys! I’m Annie. Im in my final year at UQ (IT) with two steady part time jobs. I have extensive student sharehouse experience (over four years’ worth). I play lacrosse and fence for UQ, and I socialise with my friends a lot, so I’m away a lot of afternoons during semester. Other than that, I understand the need for space, but also I’m down to be friendly and have a good chat/drink. In what spare time I actually have I’m an avid gamer/streamer, so I’m a bit of a night owl. I’ve gotten good at being quiet, but I may make noise occasionally. (LAN party anyone?) I also play piano, so you’ll hear that sometimes too (not at night I promise). Ideally, I want my housemates to be easy going, sociable, who are financially stable and dont mind the occasional party/housemate bonding sesh and will share in chores but generally, I get along with most. I’m just here to have a good time with chill people and hopefully make a few more friends :)
I'm a 22 year old Norwegian studying film and television at Griffith University South Bank.
