I'm an easy going American who has been living in Brisbane for almost 2 years. I am about to wrap up my Masters degree at UQ and am looking to move in late December/early January as my current lease will be up. I would definitely say I'm an extrovert; however, I plan to be working full time so I am looking for a bit of a life balance. I love a good chat and a wine on the weekends, and I am always down for a trip to K Mart or the beach! However, during the week I'm looking for a quieter vibe as I'll likely have to be up early for work. I am hoping to find flatmates who are social but respectful when it comes to cleaning and whatnot. I am a non smoker and I do not have any pets (however I would be more that willing to live in a house that comes with pets as I am a major animal lover!). I've been living with roommates for quite a while so I definitely understand the importance of keeping the place clean and respecting the space of others. I am open to finding a single, private room in a share house, or meeting other people who are interested in finding another person to house hunt with.
Hello there, My name is Galen and I'm a first year Teaching student. I am a polite friendly person who's always happy for a chat but also more than content with keeping to myself. I have a pretty keen interest in preforming arts (as a hobby), outside of that I enjoy writing and cooking (dont worry though, I'm always sure to clean up after myself, and happy to share!). I like cult classic movies and TV shows. I'm very quiet and tend to keep to my room when I'm not in the Kitchen. I'm looking for a place preferable near a train station, ideal close to either St Lucia or in the West End/ Dutton Park / Fairfield area.
Pursuing my PhD at UQ. Looking for a new home at a walk-able distance to uni. Quiet, studious and busy on all weekdays. Outgoing and Active on some weekends :p Like to cook and bake. I am a BIG time NBA fan :)
I'm originally from Melbourne moving up to Brisbane for a masters program at UQ. I will spend a lot of time studying, writing my thesis, on placement and working so I'm after a relaxed, drama-free house. I'd love to find flatmates who are keen to share drinks, meals and Netflix series but who also respect each others space. I'm clean, a cracking cook, keep as fit as I can and love my house plants.
I run an Educational Design team at UQ. I have lived and worked in 5 states of Australia and spent 4 years overseas. I enjoy travelling, nature, walking, tennis and cooking. Looking for a clean home with an outlook, either a view or pleasant yard. Happy to share cooking although mainly pescatarian. I like privacy but happy to chat as little or as much as house chums like.
(I'm still looking for a room. -14th/Nov.) Thank you for watching! male / international student Japanese / 20 years old I'm looking for a room in Brisbane City or the cities around there. My name is Mayara, I am a biologist and I am going to Australia to get my PhD. I am from Brazil and I am going to Australia with my partner. We are very calm and social. We need a place to stay until we find a place to rent. It would be very nice if we have flatmates to change some information, make friends and share our culture. Me and my husband really enjoy sports, watching movies and series and knowing new places. We are looking for a place that allows us to have our own room. The bathroom can be shared and we also need a place to cook. We are very excited to go to Australia.
I spend my time at home reading, studying and drawing. I’ve lived in share houses for 10 years in Brisbane and although I'm an introvert I’m very accustomed to share house living and look forward to creating more connections and memories with my roommates. I'm looking for a quiet, creative and queer friendly household. I'm studying fine art at QUT and working part-time in West End.
