Hi! I'm a 22 year old exchange student from Norway, going to study at QUT Gardens Point this upcoming semester. I'm studying biotechnology. Really looking forward to see everything Brisbane's got to offer! I'm a tidy and organized person. Also non-smoker. I would like to live with other nice and social people, and I have lived in a houseshare for 3 years in Norway, so I know what it takes to live with people you didn't know before. I love the outdoors and hiking, doing fun stuff with friends, and experiencing new stuff while I'm on exchange. Also love just relaxing at home with a movie and good food sometimes. I take my studies seriously, and use a lot of time studying, but often at libraries or other places than where I live. I would like the place I move in to, to be fairly quiet, at least not lots of parties, so it's possible to get some sleep. Coming to Brisbane on the 7th of July, so anything around 7th-16th of July would work as a move-in date. If you're wondering about anything else, don't hesitate to ask! Hope to hear from you! Irina
25 June update: my former mobile phone handset not working. Alternative phone number: 0455508449 I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.
Hiya, my name's Helen I'm an Aussie woman looking for a peaceful place to call home with hopefully like-minded people. I'm considerate, friendly, respectful and chill. I enjoy good conversation but totally respect personal space (I'm a friendly introvert, so I get it ^_^ ) I have my own bedroom furniture, don't smoke, don't own any pets and don't eat meat, but have no problems at all if my housemates do :) I like to chill watching movies, listen to music, go to markets or nature walks and sometimes draw. I'm working casual hours and looking to study, on Centrelink but affording rent is a non-issue and I'm mature and reliable. Hope to find a humble home soon, please don't hesitate to contact me if you think I'd be suitable for your household, thanks! Helen
Hey, I'm a 21 year old guy from India - so a good stereotype would be if Raj from The Big Bang Theory made out with Dev from Master of None (which is to say, I'm into science, I occasionally read, love video games, have a quiet social life, and hoping to say Allora alot while I'm there.) I'm coming down to do a Masters at the University of Queensland, and looking for a place to stay for a short term while I get used to the city and consider my options. A little bit about myself: While in India I wrote and directed a few short-films/web-series - and occasionally performed stand up comedy. I like to be clean and organized , and love most kind of music, and I am pretty tolerable with almost all (or no) religious believes - so that would not be a problem. I also binge watch alot of shows, and as far as fun is concerned, I like to play/watch Badminton/Cricket/Football - or go on a walk, or shoot timelapses. Or sleep. Mostly sleep. I'm a party animal in that regard.
Hi, I'm looking for a room in a share house. I am tidy, and enjoy cooking. I consider myself easy going. I need to move some time in July. I enjoy art and music and love relaxing with a glass of wine Feel free to ask me anything
I'm a researcher looking for a chill place with easy going, fun grownups. I'm respectful, compassionate, clean, mature considerate and have a positive attitude. I'll probably never sing for or at you, but maybe with you if you’re really bad at it. I'm calm, easy going and diplomatic but still principled and passionate about life. I try to live a healthy lifestyle with good food, good wine and exercise, riding, climbing, hiking, jogging. Interested in politics, science, sociology, music, art, technology and everything in-between Looking for a place and where we can at least occasionally enjoy interesting banter over a drink, a cool meal or maybe even a dinner party:) If I could be what you’re looking for, it’d be cool to hear more about you guys and see your place. Troy

Hi,Brent and I are friends and looking to find a place to rent at a reasonable price. I'm studying in UQ and completing my final year. Brent would be studying in UQ next year. The both of us are easy going, friendly and clean. If you do have two bedrooms or a unit to rent, please let me know :)
Looking ahead to see what is available at the end of July. Riding distance to QUT is a must. Preferably furnished as I will be staying 7 months maximum. I hope to find a place, quiet and relaxing to return to after a long day of study or work. I keep myself rather busy but will always be up for a chat when hanging out at home. I'm easy to get along with and appreciate a clean home. If you think I'd be a good fit, send a message !
Hello! Sarah here, looking for a fabulous housemate to partner up with in a 2 or 3 bedroom (only one housemate though please). I am an active, healthy eater who is looking for someone on the same level. I do enjoy a good netflix session, workout, but mostly enjoy being outdoors on the trails hiking. I work full time, am easy going and neat and tidy. let me know if you are up for a quick chat! Sarah
Boring Disclaimer: 150 per week is my absolute maximum, and it must include bills and internet. I am on Youth Allowance. If you can see this listing, I still need a home :) Basic Requirements: I am looking for a place with easy access to public transport, particularly between QUT Kelvin Grove and the Gabba/Annerley. No pets that shed, it seems to make my allergies worse. No smokers, no 420. Room needs to be mostly unfurnished, and be able to comfortably fit a double bed, desk, and room for clothes storage containers. Better things: I am studying a Master's Degree in Public Health. In my spare time, I go to a weekly D&D session, and also like to hang out with friends and play board games (cooler than Monopoly) . I also love watching stuff on Netflix, or streaming things like Archer, Rick and Morty, American Gods, Brooklyn 99 etc. I can knit and crochet, and sometimes I like to invite friends over to watch things while crafting. Looking for a house where I can hang out with my housemates and have fun, but also have my own space when I need to study. I keep late hours, but try to make sure that I keep the noise down.
Hello! My name is savannah. I'm 23 and have been renting for the last 5 years. I currently live in bulimba but looking to downsize when my lease is up on August 30 so I can save some money and head overseas eventually. (Looking for a 6 month lease). I work full time as a graphic designer and also work some bars on the weekend so I'm rarely home and like to just relax when I am. I paint and watch tv shows in my spare time and don't know many people in Brisbane so don't often have house guests. I do have a cat who is really friendly and just loves people. She's never attacked or scratched anyone and is always down for a snuggle. Most people fall in love with her so I'm hoping she wont be a problem! Happy to meet over coffee to see if we get along :)
HI :) I'm Mon, a full-time student studying International Business at QUT. I'm looking for a house to stay [private room]. it's better if it's near the transportations. I'm tidy, easy going, respectful and mature. Locations: Spring Hill, Paddington, Milton, South Brisbane, East Brisbane, Norman Park, Kelvin Grove, Woolloongabba, Windsor, Red Hill,...
Born and raised in Sydney; 24 y.o.; moving for a new engineering role; I spend most of my time working, gymming, playing sports, cooking and sleeping; and I am super tidy and organised.
Hi! I am a Norwegian student who are going to take my next two semesters studying science at UQ. As a person I am friendly and get along well with most people. I am a relaxed type of guy who is reliable, respectful and in total easy to live with. I appreciate my surroundings clean and tidy. In my spare time I like to be active, be in the outdoors and practice different kind of sports. I am no party animal, but appreciate a good party once in a while. I am looking for a place to call home during my year in Brisbane. Preferably a fully furnished house with a sociable group of people that maybe do stuff together from time to time.
Hey guys, I enjoy exercise, a healthy lifestyle, and don't drink alcohol*! Perfect room mate right here! *not factually correct. I'm an easy going, laid back lady with a full time job as a travel agent 8.30-5.30 Mon-Saturday. I like to chill out and meet new people. I am always down for a beverage and would love a place where we can have people around (not every day obviously...) I am also conscious of others who want some space and alone time. I would love to find flatmates (girls and/or boys) to make friendships with rather than just a house mate but to each their own of course :) WOO :D
I'm moving down from Toowoomba in the coming months as I'm working in the city Mon - Fri. I'm neat, quiet and self sufficient. Looking for a big house with a yard for my two fur babies. I have everything I need to set up a house, all you will need is bedroom gear. Looking for a long term rental and would prefer setting it up from th start and making a nice little home!
