Hey chaps, looking to move closer to UQ sometime in the next couple of months. I have a dog named Zuri. She's a 3 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback and is possibly the most polite/friendly dog in existence. If this isn't an issue id love to hear from you! I'm currently studying environmental management at UQ and work part time at Coles in Toowong. Cheers
Hi there! ;) I am Grégoire form France. I have a master in Agrifood and have worked in a french frozen food manufacturing company during one year in the supply chain service. I have been living in Brisbane for 4 months now while studying english in order to improve my level and pass the ielts. I am now looking for a job (with my WHV) and a furnished accommodation. My budget is 200$ including all bills. I have a preference for an accommodation without a landlord/manager inside the house for the simple reason that I had to suffer extreme rules in my previous share house which were extremely stressfull (shower for less than 5min, 15min washing option only for my clothes, internet box arbitrary shut off at 10 pm in order to not have the least DEL turn on in the house, no fan nor aircond...) so if you have this kind of limitation or any curfew, please don't send me an offer, living in a relax and cool atmosphere is my priority number 1. I will be staying maximum until the end of July in Brisbane, however I have indicated a lenght of stay of 4 weeks because I don't want to be locked here if I don't find any job after one month. I'd like also to have the possibility to park a bike because I will probably do some deliveries in the meanwhile I obtain a full-time job. Thanks for reading! :)
Hi, I'm Rode. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science/Bachelor of Science (majoring in math) at UQ. I am a tidy person and easy to get along with. I can also cook good food. I work part time at Matchbox along with pick up jobs such as babysitting and high-school math tutoring. I currently live with my mum but am keen to get out asap. I am a singer and guitar player, so I have a huge passion for music. I also surf and box.
Dreaming of hangs on the porch couch with my future roomies looking out at our pet chickens and veggie patch attempts. I am a friendly, easy-going and respectful gal. Looking for a home rather than a house. Maybe a few housemate dinners and bants here and there. Would love to contribute to a tidy, good vibes place Beginning an Arts degree at UQ this year after several years of working for The Man and gallivanting across the globe. You will generally find me drawing hearts on coffees at QUT. I appreciate the joys of a Zooper Dooper on a Sunday, market friend dates and a good Indian curry. Note - I own more cushions than furniture. I believe the more house plants the better. Food is life. Feel free to message if you have any more questions!
I am studying BArts/Journalism at UQ in 2017 but looking to transfer to BPPE in 2018. My hobbies are mainly creative, such as music and writing. If your a producer/musician looking for a roomie then your boy is ideal. I'd like to say I'm funny but so does everyone and I might suck at your niche comedy so you'll have to see. I like my alone time and respectful of others, as well as being a friendly dude.
I am a clean, upbeat, and quiet lady who is more than content in my room doing my own thing. I work part time and to save hard for one last Europe or America round trip. I am a very friendly person, if not shy to begin with, but once you have me as a friend I am glue and there for you through thick and thin. I come with a plus one; A little year old Calico kitten called Jenga, so pet friendly house have to be must. She is fine with dogs (except puppies for some reason) and loves people. Fully trained with adorable quirks.
Full-time student at UQ studying Biomedical Science/Genetics. I work part-time as a personal trainer. I would love to find housemates who don't just live together but actually become friends and can hang out have a beer/wine with or go for a run together. I spend most of my time at uni/work and love going to the beach on the weekends if I don't have work. I am very clean, tidy and respectful and am looking for similar housemates. Ideal place will have own bedroom and bathroom (unfurnished) as well as somewhere to park my car. Somewhere close-ish to UQ/city/river would be great. Let me know if you have a room which you think would be a good match!
I am 23 and from India, would be studying at the University of Queensland from April 2017. I will be mostly at the uni doing my work and you can have the room to yourself most of the day. At other times I am fun to be with...! Witty and wise crack jokes are going to be a regular thing. I like to be tidy and keep things clean. I am pretty social and adaptable. I generally prefer to keep to my own but once I get along with someone I may talk a lot. My friends would describe me as cheerful and happy go lucky , so if you have any worries , you can share them with me and I can lighten your mood. I am looking for someone who is clean tidy and friendly. So if interested just drop a message.
21, working as a full time Office Manager for Serviced Offices. I have lived in my share house for three years now, I'm wanting to downsize from a house to just my own room, or a flexible lease as I am wanting to leave for travel in a few months. I have always loved living with roommates, Female, Male, couples, you name it. I do my best to live in harmony with my roomies, while forming friendships. My home is my sanctuary, I don't do drama. I have furniture (couches and outdoor table) only if it's needed of course. Otherwise I am super easy going and always clean up after myself. I am only looking to move out at the end of March 2017, thanks!
I am currently working full time as an accountant. My current lease is about to expire where, I have kept a clean and tidy apartment by myself. I am currently looking for a clean and accommodating place to live. I look forward to getting to know my potential housemates.
I'm quiet, clean, and friendly. I keep to myself but am happy to have a chat in the kitchen while we cook or something. I'll be studying engineering at UQ so I'll have a fairly heavy course load and will probably be working as well. I read and game, and I'm a roller derby fan.
I'm pretty clean tidy and easygoing, respect the others.no bad hobby.usually do some sports like swimming, yoga, cycling, badminton, pingpong hiphop in my spare life.
Hi, I am a freelancer in the AV industry (think lights sound and video stuff), recently returned to Australia after living overseas (a bit of a habit with me) and am considering Brisbane for my latest home. I am easy going, a passable cook, quiet but friendly and very respectful of others. Currently I am just looking for a short term stay - roughly 3 weeks while I get a feel for Brisbane before deciding whether to move here full time. I have a wedding to attend in Sydney in march, hence the short stay.
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained and clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook (once a souse chef), philosophize over a glass of wine and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place. Troy
Hey Im a 30 year old professional female from Melbourne. I am moving to Bris to begin studying for my career change and looking for a 'home' to live in (cliche but true). I want to share a house with people who are up for a wine, dinner, chats etc. I have shared plenty of homes and spent a fair but of time time Bris over the last four years, so have a small social network already. I am pretty easy going and enjoy the company of most people. I like to be social, but anticipate i will be pretty busy next year with studies, placements and working. Would love to chat further if i sound like someone that could fill your room! Cheers Meg - worth mentioning, i am looking for a room that is reasonably large so i can fit a desk etc in there.
Hello Everyone! My name is GeO, I'm from Egypt, 30 yo, lived in Melbourne for 2 years... N I moved to Brisbane 6 months ago for a FT job and now I'm looking for a house to share and make some more friends 😊.. I'm a traveler/couchsurfer, been to heaps of places around Europe n Middle East and I know what it means to share a house/apartment and even a room. I'm clean and I don't mess up the place around. However, I start work pretty early in the morning and go to gym/training after for an hour or 2 ... Then I'll probably be home doing one or more of the below: - Chilling with housemates - Cooking - Studying - Watching tv shows or movies😃 - Playing card/board games I also play squash once a week, Chinese martial arts 3 times/week and climb stairs (as a sport haha)! I'm very respectful, considerate, quiet and easygoing. I respect the house rules and look for peace :) Thanks for your time reading that! Have a good one 😉
Hi, I'm James from Annerley. My lease expires in a few weeks, and with university rapidly approaching, I'm looking for a new sharehouse. For my degree, I study I.R and French at St. Lucia, so it'd be advantageous to live with French speakers. My partner also lives in Annerley, which limits me to homes located south of the C.B.D/river. I'd like to live with mature people in their 20's or 30's with an appreciation for cleanliness, tidiness, organisation, and cooking. A cleaning roster isn't a must, but housemates should be proactive in their approach to housework and topping up ice-cube trays.. I enjoy British comedy, French films, running and gym, reading and drinking. Thanks, James.
Fun loving couple looking for a new home! Both QUT students, Kerry studies exercise science & Melody studies interior design! In our final year yay! Kerry is an avid rockclimber, you'll find him at Urban Climb or Kangaroo Point! Triple J is his favourite radio station, and he loves to head to festivals in his spare time! Melody is an animal enthusiast - squealing at the sight of puppies is not uncommon for her. Yoga, iced lattes and 90210 are some of her favourite things! Planning a trip to New York, again, soon! We are after our own bathroom preferably, and a car space (happy with street park but). Send us a message and we can chat :)
Hey people, I'm going to spend the next Semester at the UQ. I am 23, studying math in Munich and I am more or less done with my Masters. Therefore I'm just going to take some courses in which I'm interested in and continue to write on my thesis. I guess I am a comfortable person to live with - until now I just had great experiences with sharing a flat. I lived together with brazilians, germans, polish, americans, italians and portuguese. And with all of them it was a lot of fun! I would describe myself as open minded and interested in nearly everything. I love to do sports, talk to people, going out just for a coffee or a beer, etc. I've never been to Australia before but I studied for two Semesters already in Portugal and for one in the UK. Afterwards I worked in Washington D.C. for a professional soccer/football club. As you can see I just love new experiences and meeting people from all around the world. One of the reasons why I chose now to go to the other side of the world. ;) Richard
Planning ahead for July! I'm an international student from Canada studying Pharmacy at UQ. I can be a pretty big introvert, which is great if you're looking for a quieter roommate. I'm by no means antisocial, but I mean the introvert part quite literally! I spend about 50% of my life on the internet, and will probably spend the other 40% on campus once the semester gets going. I know some folks are really keen on their roommate being their new best time - the last time I had a roommate in 2012 I was asked to leave because my roommate took it really personally! So ideally you really are looking for someone quieter and not a new life partner. I've been living on my own since then, but I'm pretty cost-conscious so my motivation here is really a matter of splitting rent. Ideally, it'd be splitting a 2-bedroom apartment with someone interested in staying for at least a few years (I'm just starting a four year program) but open to other arrangements for shorter periods of time.
Hey I am UQ student from India , who is cheerful and easy going. Respect others personal space and hygiene and expect the same . Looking to live in a multicultural and cosmopolitan area. Enjoy making friends and creating memories .Looking forward to hear from you.
Hi All, I'm currently working full time in marine biology and lead a relatively active lifestyle but also enjoy having a dinner or cheeky movie night with my flatmates. I love nature, adventure and seeing new places and cultures. I can usually be found hiking, scuba diving , rock climbing or going to the farmers markets on weekends. I like living in a cheerful and relatively clean household with responsible yet fun young adults , appreciate good music and love baking (especially vegan treats) and sharing the treats. Always open to new ideas and am very friendly. Also enjoy having some quiet time and chilling out with friends when I'm not working.
I am a tidy and pretty easy going person and tend to get along with everybody. I respect we all need space sometimes but I'm also down for some activities and trips and don't mind a few beers or partying on the weekend. I have been in share-flats for 4 years now so understand the concept of sharing cleaning duties and amenities etc. I would love to live together with Australian or international students who are like minded. Cheers

By night i love to cook at home and watch a good netflix series with a glass of vino or seek out a new bar with delicious food and drink. Hi, I'm Lenin Jacob, male 23. Me and my friend, female 22, are looking for a good house to move in. We're both students at UQ and we'd prefer a place that is close to UQ as well. We like to keep the house clean and we don't have a pet.

Our intention is to move as soon as possible and minimum period of our stay is 3 months. We are non-smokers, easygoing and friendly. We have no pets, no kids and care about tidiness of our environment. Very sociable people, easy to live with.

I love to socialize, however, I am also quite serious so I am looking for something not too crowded. I am a tidy person, like to clean and would prefer clean and tidy roommates. I'm 22 years old and just graduated from UQ last year. Currently working full time in Milton and am looking for a place in the south side of Brisbane but relatively close to the city. I'm not a party animal but am still very social and love having a few beers with mates. I'm pretty chill and easy to get along with. I'm pretty active and like to play sports/go to the gym etc. When I am home, I spend a lot of time in my room but wouldn't mind living with cool people I can get along with. I have a girlfriend who won't be moving in but will obviously be over from time to time. I'm also considering buying a puppy once I move out but nothing is set in stone. If you think we'd get along well or have any more questions for me, feel free to shoot me a message!

If I'm not working I'm a fun and relaxed guy that's always in for a good movie or a game of 8ball. I like to live healthy, go the gym religiously and on my weekends I like to rise early and go out for some adventurous activities. While trying to capture the coolest moments with my camera's (my hobby). I'm overall pretty tidy, I like to cook and always up for conversations! Feel free to shoot me a message if any of this appeals to you.
Hello, how are you? Just a quick bit about me. I begin a new contract job in Salisbury as a mechanical design engineer, commencing Thursday 2 Jan 2017. I have a wife and two young boys who will remain in Hervey Bay until more permanent employment is obtained, most likely in 2018. Over this time I will be looking for my own accommodation in Brisbane for my family. I will need to come and go depending on work needs and I will also be based in Hervey Bay. I am easy going, a non-smoker, and trying to lose weight. I enjoy a social drink and very clean and tidy. Please be aware as a working professional I'm not interested in living the Uni student life (already been there). There may be rare occasions my family may visit on a weekend. My boys are 9 and 5 years old and very well behaved. My wife is nuts.......just kidding. Basically I need somewhere to prop when in Brisbane which may vary week to week, it is most likely I will be in Brisbane 3 night per week. Initially I will be in Salisbury for 4 nights for the first initial 1-2 months. I look forward to your enquiries. Greg
Well this will be the first time I'll be living "alone" as in without my parents. I'm excited and nervous altogether. I would like to have the best first experience living away from home. I want independence and I just want to start a life of my own. I would prefer if I'm sharing with one or two people not more than that as I am trying to have that peace of mind ha ha. My motto is SERENITY :) I'm a very clean person. I'd prefer no pets at all (sorry). I don't drink , smoke , go out clubbing and all that's similar. I'm mostly either at work , church, studio, various music concerts or at home. I am focused and very respectful of people. I'm flexible with the duration of the lease, I just put six months as something I wouldn't mind. I''m also flexible with the move in date and pretty much anything so that we are all happy. I'm single , no children, no pets. I'm a singer , songwriter and a music director. I'm currently a QUT student on a gap year. I've been in Australia since I was 15 and I love to travel. I'm hardworking and get along with pretty much anyone. So if you are a person who wants a chilled out and peaceful environment then I'm ready to move in! That's pretty much it.
I'm an incoming exchange student to UQ from Vancouver, Canada. I'm pretty easy-going, and a chatty, bubbly character. I also consider myself responsible and value a clean home! I do love myself a good hike or a trip to the beach. I also appreciates nights in as much as the casual night out!
I am a citizen of Luxembourg and France living in Canada. Studying civil engineering, 3rd year exchange semester at UQ. I enjoy playing and watching sports, listening to music. I am always down to do activities. I like better having a some beers and chill rather than going to a club. Open minded, relaxed and active. I like living in a clean home.
Clean and tidy, I have a clean as you go mentality. I enjoy hanging out with my housemates, and hope to find a place where you're not just people I share a house with but friends I share a home with. I do however spend a bit of time in my room and keep to myself so I'm not going to be in your face but happy to do dinners together (I can't cook, be prepared to eat raw unflavoured food, I apologise in advance) or casual drinks at home on the weekend. I'm a first year accounting student at QUT, so public transport nearby would be fantastic. I do have a car though, so I need undercover parking whether that be a garage or carport. I also have a border collie puppy so we need a pet friendly share house with a large fenced backyard (preferably tall fencing, as I think she's going to be an escape artist). It would actually be fantastic if there was another dog to share with too. A bit more about me... I'm Irish Filipino, grew up in PNG but have been in Brisbane for 18 years so technically I really grew up here! I go to the gym several times a week, I have been recovering from a few injuries lately so it's kept me at home. I'm the type of person that will push myself at the gym but later go home and eat an entire pizza.. I have no will power. If you eat clean, please show me your ways lol I'm single...I don't want to live with couples or single 40+year old men, nor families. Just like-minded people my age that are dog friendly would be amazing :)
Hi, am currently an Engineering student at QUT while also doing part-time tutoring. Enjoy playing sport, responsible, clean and looking for some great people to live with. Originally from FNQ but spent last couple of years in Melbourne.
Hello, my name is Melissa I'm 24, Canadian coming over to Australia on a working holiday Visa in March and ill be needing somewhere to stay. Im working as a nurse so have irregular shift work. Im looking to have good and social roommates who would be hopefully interested in doing some weekend travelling on somewhat of a budget. Im not really a homebody, love to be outdoors and explore new things. I am active and enjoy a healthy lifestyle - in moderation. Im tidy with my things and enjoy good food. Im a social drinker and enjoy my weekends (when I have weekends off). Im very flexible, easy going and don't plan on having a car so being downtown work would be key for me! If you're interested give me a shout!
Originally from Switzerland, but here for a year to finish my Phd in Social Psychology. I make good pasta! I speak french and ukrainian for anyone looking for a lesson! I've lived in heaps of different places always with flatmates, so am pretty sociable and adaptable!
