we are a quiet and respectful couple that love pets and going to the park!. I am doing my PhD at QUT and my wife likes to participate in University communities.
I'm looking to team up and get a new place with 1 or more. Just don't like moving into other people's homes, would rather start somewhere new. Have pets so need some yard and animal lover roomies. If u also have pets mine should be ok with them. I'm pretty bloody easy going... don't assume I'll match up to ur preconceptions of what a 35 yr old woman will be like cause I will definitely not match up. Lol. Honest, considerate, trust worthy. Quiet type with occasional need for a night off being a quiet type. Lol. Drop me a line. Have some beautiful places to look at... just need someone else to be able to afford. My current home is going on the market and I'm supposed to be out 4 Dec.
Hello! I’m from America and will be pursuing a masters at UQ beginning semester 1, but will be moving to Brisbane about a month in advance to settle in. I’m pretty outgoing and love to make friends, especially with my roommates. However I’m respectful of privacy and pretty tidy, relaxed and easy-going at home. In my spare time I love being active and doing things outdoors. I keep pretty busy and usually use time at home to unwind whether that's watching Netflix, reading, or having a chat with my roommate(s). Since I’ll be coming from overseas I’m looking for a place that already comes furnished. I’m looking for something that would be at least a 6 month commitment, but possibly longer upwards of a year as well. Looking forward to connecting with people :)
Hello! Looking for a shared accomoation with one or two flatmates. A clean, private bedroom with utility bills and internet included in rent would be fantastic. I'll be studing at UQ, St Lucia start of March, currently working full time. Let me know if you're looking for a flatmate! Cheers, Jazz :)
I am an international student doing my Masters at UQ. I am fun, yet organised. I am concientious, clean up after myself and keep tidy. I will be working long hours so will not be home too much during the day. I love cooking and am happy to do a 'I cook, you clean' arrangement. I get along well with most people. I am a morning person, and will be up by 6am most mornings to go running. I do usually have music going but always at a respectable level. I need to have access to the train or 66 Bus route as I will be working at hospitals next year. I am looking to move in Dec/Jan I'm hoping for housemates that like to share a meal or hang out sometimes, not completely keep to themselves. I'm very social and enjoy being around other people.
I will be working as a nurse at LCCH doing 12 hr shift work. I am looking for : -ALL female flats -Happy to pay direct debit for the rent and cash upfront to secure the room. -OWN room but happy to share a bathroom. -Happy to share chores. -Biking or walking distance to Lady Cilento Hospital -move in date is 19th February 2018 and I start work the week after in LCCH. I am currently in Alice Springs for a remote nursing experience then travelling overseas before arriving in Brissy..happy to pay cash upfront to secure the room on my arrival then direct debit for the rent thereafter. I am quiet and can be found in my room reading on my ipad. Will make the most noise at most while skyping but other than that you won't know I'm there.😉 I try to cook only once for the whole week a week and I clean up after. I love going out for brunch and coffee as I don't like going out at night but more than happy to grab lunch or brunch with my future flatmates. ☕
I work as an interpreter and translator and also I run my own business ( a driving school). I am a very calm, patient, friendly and sociable person. I would like to live with people who are very sociable and friendly as well. I am a very clean and tidy person and respect people privacy as well. I am very much into Latin dancing and can show you some dance moves too :P
I am 18 years of age, looking to start university at UQ 2018, Semester 1. I am a very happy and easy to get along with person. I love to play board games, have a chat, and am always up for a bbq/get together. I also appreciate a bit of time to myself, and will often keep to myself during the week, studying and working part-time as a learn to swim teacher.
My name is Ashlea, I'm a 24 year old female working in government Mon-Fri in Brisbane CBD. I'm looking for somewhere to live close to the city. I try to keep fit and don't drink during the week, but don't mind a drink or two on the weekends. I'm a pretty chilled person and am respectful of space. I need my alone time occasionally but would still prefer to live with someone I can have a chat with! I am a non-smoker and have no pets and I am hoping for one or two room mates around the same age with similar interests. I have a car so I would prefer a parking space. Not interested in sharing a bathroom, please don't message if shared bathroom only.
I'm relaxed and reliable. I'll wash the dishes and have a beer with you when I'm done. I've lived in sharehouses for a pretty long time now (6 + years) so I understand how important it is to be respectful and kindhearted in order to have a siq household. Just want to find a cool house where me and my awesome cat can come and settle down.
Hey, working as a PhD student at UQ and recently moved here from Germany/Netherlands. I've got plenty of experience living in shared houses and never had or created a problem. I respect privacy but I am always up for something fun. Clean, relaxed and an overall friendly guy. Besides working, Basketball and Bouldering/Climbing are some of the sports I do and I enjoy the occasional BBQ. Looking for a nice place to come home to after a long day and just relax. Moving date should next year end of January. Would be great to live with different nationalities (maybe expend my French) but that's just a personal thought. Kind regards, Nils
Hi! I'm currently working full time, looking to move out early jan before my lease expiry. Looking to team up or pair up. I'm told i'm super easy going and easy to live with. I'm clean, well house trained and respectful towards my neighbour at all hours. Wouldn't mind a tame drink on the weekends, or a brunch buddy. Sociable but considerate of personal space.
I am doing my PhD research on marsupial brain evolution at UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bicycle but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, philosophical talks, craft-beer and nature.
I'm a 17-year-old female and I'll be studying a Bachelor of Science at UQ next year, and am looking for a sharehouse at/near St Lucia. I was born and raised here in Brisbane (and I have Asian ethnicity). I'm a generally quiet, kind and tidy person. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, reading, as well as talking and spending time with friends. Please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm looking forward to sharing a place with some cool people! ^_^
Work- laser and skin therapist Study- Science Interests- Dance, travel, socialising, philosophy, learning new things, science, health, speak intermediate Spanish, beach trips, netball, camping I hope my house mates are open minded people. I'm looking for a place that is furnished in the common areas. I'm also looking for a big bedroom. However, I don't care how old the place is or how old school the kitchen/bathroom is- big wide open spaces is my preference :) I'm not looking for team ups.
I’m a Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, quiet lifestyle, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. Young-at-heart, I've lived in lots of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident, worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, art house films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates. While I enjoy watching an hour or 2 of TV (e.g. news, docco, The Chase or The Simpsons), I don't watch it most of the time. I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. I'm non-vegetarian and heterosexual - happy to live with vegetarians and/or LGBT people. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. Move-in date flexible. References available.
Three UQ students going into last/second last year of Bachelor degree. We are friendly, clean and responsible people. We respect other people's privacy but love to hang out in free time. We are looking for places with at least 3 bedrooms. We all cook good food ;)
I'm from Slovakia. Full time student plus part time job. Tidy and tolerant :) I' looking for accommodation till 24th of January but with a potential extension for 6 months.
26 years old UQ postgrad / part-time finance professional, who is keen on meeting with new people. I'm an easy-going and friendly person, who likes both watching and doing sports (swimming and cycling at the moment). I spend most of my time out of the house somewhere in between uni / work / nature. Initially, I am looking for a room for about 6 months, but potentially would stay much longer.
I am a mature full time artist but also actively seeking employment in administration or data entry duties. I’m very social and friendly and respect the need for necessary down time. I enjoy a chat and the occasional social drink and small entertaining. I enjoy quiet moments to enjoy the peace. I like to watch Netflix and documentaries but don’t really gravitate to tv in general. Only series are, Game of Thrones, Vikings and The Last Kingdom. I’m also an avid music lover and scour Spotify for obscure playlists to listen to regularly. Being a visual artist and painting my main medium, I’m seeking additional free space to be able to setup for studio to do my art. I know this could be extra and something to be negotiated in the future for empty garages etc I’m clean and tidy. Love to cook but not every night. I pay rent and bills before or on time. A non-smoker to enjoy back yard barbecues and occasionally entertain a few friends. Social drinks now and then. I love animals especially dogs 🐕 they’re the best companions. More importantly I’m recently seperated and have a beautiful 6 year old daughter. Due to this being such a new and unwelcomed experience my parental arrangements are still being negotiated and discussed. I’m looking for a place for long term to call home (more than 6 months+) close to Taringa/Indooroopilly/Red Hill/West End/HighgateHill/Fairfield/DuttonPark/Milton/Auchenflower/Paddington/KelvinGrove areas. Happy to pay max rent up to $180 inclusive of bills (electricity and internet plus extra space). It’s a long shot I know. This would be increased with negotiation once gaining full time employment. Happy to team up for large house or town house with ample lock up garage space potentially. Thanks for reading and hope to hear something soon. Cheers.
I am respectful, mature, quiet and tidy. I'm generally busy most weeknights but have more time on the weekend, I'm usually keen to go for a drink or a board game. My interests are cooking, travelling and reading, I've got a mini library and plenty of cooking gear. I'm a water engineer working in the CBD, moving from Milton due to my lease coming to an end.
I’m a 25-years-old visiting Ph.D. student at UQ from Italy and I’m looking for a quiet, tidy and clean place to live. I’m usually at UQ all day everyday, but I enjoy having a good chat or sharing a meal in the evening once in a while :)
