I am a case manager at a local agency who supports individuals who may have barriers accessing services they need - that’s where I come into it!
I am supporting an over 60 female who does not know how to use tech so we’re getting creative to make looking for a space to call home more accessible. Now that you know about me, Here’s some info on my client:
C is looking for a quiet, clean, safe, respectful environment all of which she highly values. She would ideally like a small unit or granny flat. C and I are working on goals of establishing short- medium term accommodation as I begin to advocate on her behalf to access long term housing. C has had to leave her property in regional vic, after 20 years of caring for her husband. She still owns it and is awaiting real estate advice on renting it out, creating a passive income, ontop of other finance streams.
C’s goal is to get back into part time work but for now wants time to re-set, be closer to her family and live a lot less demanding life, enjoying more leisure time. C has a chronic allergy to animal hair, causing extreme asthma attacks which means she could only manage hypoallergenic breeds if there is any on the property.
As C does not manage technology well I would love to get the ball rolling and can then provide direct contact.
C is able to move in fairly quickly, is flexible with length of stay(prefer long term lease) and can commit to bond and rent in advance.
