My boyfriend Jye (30M) and I (29F) are looking for a room to rent in Annerley and surrounds. I grew up and still live in the scenic rim but I recently received a job offer and I’m excited to be living in Brisbane - close to work. Jye is from Newcastle, he will be moving up to Brisbane towards the end of April.

I work full time in healthcare, Jye works as a support worker. When I’m not at work, I love going for walks and being in nature, I’m a bit of a foodie so I enjoy trying new places to eat, spending time with my friends, reading and of course anything crafty 😅

Jye has very similar interests as well - he is also very respectful and quiet (until he comes out of his shell). Me on the other hand, I am outgoing and love to make new friends!

How are we as housemates? I’d say we are great to live with! We are both very tidy and pride ourselves on a clean and organised home, we understand the balance of keeping to ourselves but also excited to spend some time with our roomies. I enjoy my own space and time to myself, but I equally love connecting with people and having a yap!

We can’t wait to meet our new housemate/s ☺️
