Hey there, Single 29 year old with 2 dogs (English Bull Terrier & American Staffy X) - looking for another girl or couple to team up and look for a place. My current lease finishes on the 14th January so would like to get a move date as close to this as I can. I work full time in the CBD rotating between 12hr day and night shifts. When I’m not at work I go out pretty often, either with the dogs or catching up with friends, or be in my room with Netflix or gaming. My dogs can be boisterous and get excited but they calm down once they get to know you and love any kind of affection. I’m very laidback, flexible and like to keep things clean and tidy. Happy with most suburbs within 30mins drive of the city but would prefer northside. Toowong Taringa Greenslopes Red Hill Paddington New Farm Bardon Newmarket Ascot Hamilton Enoggera Mitchelton Chermside
Currently living with some great people that are moving away end of Jan when our lease is up. Looking for somewhere with my own bathroom, somewhere chill with someone who wants to be friends and not just housemates. I work full time and am not home a lot, enjoy a glass of red and watching Netflix.
Hi! We're two Tasmanians moving to Brisbane for uni in 2019. We're both easygoing, open-minded people who enjoy a quiet beer of an evening and are respectful of others' space. Abbie is studying Forensic Science and Criminology at Griffith university, loves true crime docos, and is a huge fan of the Melbourne Demons. She's fond of music, and dabbles in bands when time allows. Harley is studying Paramedic Science at QUT, loves history, and tries to stay active through Muay Thai. He loves to cook, enjoys reading, and loves animals. He also enjoys watching sport, particularly cricket and the NBA.
I’m a fun and friendly person who enjoys getting to know people. I’m currently studying at UQ, working at ALDI and am currently competing in athletics. I’m an avid fan of sharing the workload (cleaning, dishes ect) and am happy to help others out when need be.
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and won't be there that much as I am from the Gold Coast so always down there of a weekend seeing family and friends. I am fun, outgoing and social. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. I prefer a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe.
I am vietnamese postgraduated student at Griffith University and have 5 year old daughter. We are finding a room at a tidy and clean house where is close to any primary school (walking). If you have any suitable room for us, please kindly text me. Thanks in advance.
My name is Felipe, I'm from Colombia and I'm 23 years old. The main reason why I am looking for a place to live well is to be able to practice my English much more; so it would be perfect to meet people from other countries. I like to go out with my friends and share good times. I am open minded and I do not mind sharing with anyone. I am a student and I work cooking in an Italian restaurant.
We are 2 girls, Kiah (22) & Mollie (22) looking for two like minded female housemates to join us in our lovely home in Coorparoo/Norman Park. We both study graphic design, work part time and are quite social but enjoy our own time. We are looking for people who are considerate and chilled out but also enjoy hanging out together! We love plants, gigs, op shopping, anything creative and having a few drinks together! Need people who take initiative in doing household chores! We also have a cat called Lenni who's very friendly :-) Our home is a beautiful old queenslander with a verandah and back deck! Fully fenced with plenty of parking and close to everything! (Shops etc). Lovely white walls and timber floors, dishwasher, air con, fans, huge yard + mango tree, veggie patch and heaps of natural light! It’s filled with groovy furniture and an abundance of plants!! There are two rooms currently available - the main bedroom (3.6m x 4m) with a built in robe and 2 large windows & a slightly smaller room (3.6 x 3m) with one large window but without a robe (plenty of room for hanging racks or drawers though)
I'm 35 and a building supervisor. I have a 8 year old dog named Archie who is a well behaved pet who rarely barks. Recently separated from a marriage and looking for people of a similar age to rent with.
I'm a 26yo working full-time in the pro sports industry. It'd be great to find housemates to enjoy some downtime with and try new activities. I'm looking for housemates of a similar age who are positive, driven and know how to have some fun. In my downtime I enjoy: - Cooking and trying new foods - Going to the gym, Bodyboarding, Ukulele and singing badly - Board Games, Reading, Winding down in front of a view or nature - Watching/playing sports Also: - Pet friendly (definitely dog friendly!) - During my work season I'm fairly busy and will be frequently away on weekends - I highly value honesty and reliability and would expect the same from potential roommates My number 1 priority will be finding great housemates that I'll fit in with so if you think we might be a good fit shoot us a message - Thanks!
I'm a 24 year old British ex-pat now permanently living in Brisbane. I graduated from UQ (psychology) and work part-time in medical research. I plan on returning to post-grad study in about another year. I don't smoke, have no pets, and only drink on rare occasions. I enjoy living with, rather than just existing, in the same house as people. Love a good conversation but enjoy my down time as well as being out most evenings at dance class. My move out date is flexible but ideally looking for somewhere new from the start of January.
I'm a quiet-type. No loud music, respect personal space and love animals. I'm just as happy sitting down playing games or watching TV/listening to music as I am to get out of the house and do some exploring. I work in office admin so I'm usually home during the weekend. Although kids are cool, I got my quota of entertaining them working at a theme park so won't be looking for a place that has kids. Would love to share with someone (or a few someones) that like to chill out and not take the world too seriously. I'm a smoker but only ever smoke outside. I have my own bedroom furniture (and a MASSIVE double-door fridge) so I'm looking for an unfurnished room at least. Also have my own car - so would need at least on-street parking. 420 friendly xo
Hi we are looking for a new place as our current place has become unavailable for a new lease and our flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. Must have a sense of humour. Must have job. I have land and a container from which I store all my tools and work materials. I also have all my “other” stuff in a container at storage facility. Therefore I travel light, ie I only need to bring minimal things to the room. (Bed, desk, clothes, gas Weber (optional), esky, bar fridge (optional) , girlfriend, dog and kitchen sink.) I have a classic car which I could store at my land but a secure shed/garage would be ideal. I need a secure place (outdoor is ok) to park my Ute as it usually has loose tools in the tray. Sometimes I bring my trailer home so room to park and turn around with a trailer would be convienient but not essential. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good but not essential. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
I'm a post grad student looking for a place close to the Mater Hospital for my final year of medicine. I'm considerate and clean, a great baker and enjoy a wine or two on the weekends.
Hi my name is Laura I’m 23 years old and have just started a job in Foster Care (Monday to Friday) after studying a bachelor of social work. I’m a friendly, easygoing person who enjoys quiet weeknights and will probably be out and about most weekends or have people over, to be frank will probably go out clubbing once a month or so. I’m quiet a social person so would enjoy housemates who are friendly and up for a chat! Most importantly I’m clean, respectful and will pay my bills on time. My Instagram is: Lauz95 if you want to know more about me 😄
I'm a Sri Lankan student studying in QUT. I have lived in Brisbane for 1.5 years I have lived in which I lived in a multi-cultural share house. I'm friendly quiet, I clean up after myself and great to hang with and have a beer or two
Hello! I'm a respectful, considerate, honest, and reliable person who always pays the rent/bills on time and tidies up after myself. I'm friendly and easy to get along with. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. I'm also allergic to cats, so I sadly have to avoid homes with cats in them. :( I'm studying psychology at Griffith Uni (Mt Gravatt campus). I'll be starting honours next year. I'm looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing home where I can recharge and chill. I'm a friendly person with a good sense of humour who enjoys a chat and a laugh, but I usually like to quietly do my own thing when I'm at home. I tend to spend lots of time in my room studying! (Super exciting, I know!) For fun, I perform improvised theatre which I've been doing for over a year.
Single, non-smoking, working professional that is also studying. I am extremely well travelled and as such very respectful of other people and very relaxed and easy to get on with. Just looking for a nice chill place to call home, where i can relax, study and chill out with good people. I don't mind the odd social drink from time to time, but looking to get more active and join a local gym more than hit up the local bars at this point in my life. Just moved back from a stint in cairns and before that overseas, so a furnished bedroom is a must as is fast internet, other than that i am pretty easy.
Hey! My name is Jack and I'm looking to move out of my place in East Brisbane. I'm a generally pretty quiet person, and if I'm not working I'll be at the gym or hanging out at home. I don't really like to go out much, and I have a dog so I'd rather hang out with her most of the time! I enjoy creative endeavours such as playing guitar and making things, and next year I'll be studying. I'm looking for sociable people who I can get along with, in a house that's chill and quiet - although I will certainly join in if you're having a drink or two.
Not looking to move until end of January, start of February. Will be in my final year of my nursing degree at Griffith Univeristy in 2019. I currently volunteer at a community mental health non-profit. Single, non-smoker, sociable and love pets, but don't have any. Clean and quiet but sociable. Looking to either get something for myself, or something to share with people. Hoping to have a study space, and somewhere outside to hang out and have a small garden. Looking for people who are clean but sociable as well. Hoping to share a few meals together, and maybe go out and do some fun activities.
***NOT LOOKING TO MOVE IN UNTIL MARCH/APRIL 2019 - JUST BROWSING*** Hi, I'm Michael - I'm 21 and I work full time in Greenslopes as a technical engineer/trainer for a construction software company. I spend half of my time in Brisbane and the other half travelling around to see clients in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, or sometimes in Europe. I also run 2 mid sized companies of my own in the construction/software industries, and study a full time degree at university in Construction Management, so I'm a pretty busy guy. But I would like a chilled out place with friendly roommates (or studio apartment of my own) to come home to most nights. Whether you're social like myself, or keep to yourself, I really don't mind as long as you're friendly, tidy, and easy to get along with - just like me :) Feel free to let me know if you have any questions, happy to answer.
Hey, My name is Bekki. I am going to be emigrating to the beautiful Brisbane as of 13th November. I am a huge lover of cooking. It's one of my favourite past times. I am clean, organised but also pretty easy going. I love live music and enjoy a party time to time but I wouldn't call myself a party girl. I like to keep fit and when I arrive I will be looking to sign up for a boxing class. I also like to do scuba diving and photography in my spare time.
LOOKING FOR HOME TO MOVE INTO IN 2019 FEB OR LATER. I will be looking for a home in Brisbane to move into in 2019 February or later as I begin my psychology degree at UQ at the end of February. I'm currently on the Gold Coast. This is what I'm looking for, let me know that you fit all preferences 😊: • Close to UQ in St Lucia (closer the better) • With a large size room with lots of natural light, a ceiling fan and at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, mirror, couple wardrobes and storage spaces. • With yard or deck areas that get a decent amount of direct sun all throughout the day. • With undercover parking preferred • With nearby public transport to and from UQ, fortitude valley, and the city preferred • Close to a gym and supermarket 💪🏼 About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and both a respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own healthy meals which are wholefood plant based. I'm down for cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. Things I'm most passionate about in life are eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
