Jan and Berenike

Hey there!

We’re Jan (29) and Nike (27), an easygoing, open-minded couple from Berlin, Germany looking for a short-term (25th of Jan - 15th of Feb) place to stay in Brisbane. We love meeting new people, sharing good food, and making the most of our time in this beautiful city.

A Little About Us:

• Nike works full-time as a Pastry Chef, so expect delicious pastries to magically appear at home (and yes, we love sharing!).

• Jan is self-employed in online marketing, working remotely while enjoying the flexibility to explore new places (and make great coffee along the way). He’s also an avid fisherman, coffee enthusiast, and musician, so whether it’s brewing the perfect espresso, cooking up fresh seafood, or jamming on the guitar, he’s always up to something creative.

We’re both passionate travelers who love meeting new people, swapping stories, and embracing different cultures.

• We’re social but respectful—we love good conversations, cooking sessions, and the occasional night out, but we also respect personal space and downtime.

• Cooking is a big part of our lives, so we’re always happy to share meals, host dinner nights, or try new recipes together.

• We appreciate a tidy, cozy home and contribute our fair share to keeping things clean and organized.

• We’re always down for a coffee run, a night out, or a chill evening in—whether it’s exploring the city’s food scene, fishing at sunrise, or just enjoying a good movie at home.
