Planning Ahead – January move!
Seeking a place to call home on the Northern Beaches or Eastern Suburbs, and/or open to Team Ups to find a nice one.
Hi, I’m Zac — a professional public servant in an ongoing Commonwealth role. I'vd worked flexibly across national offices in Melbourne, and Canberra (2.5 years with the same flatmate). I’m now looking to base myself in NSW from January for both work and lifestyle reasons.
Originally from Melbourne, I have long wanted to make the move to Sydney and enjoy a sea change. The Northern Beaches or Eastern Suburbs — particularly Manly, Dee Why, Bondi, Bronte, or Mosman — feel like the perfect fit for my wellbeing, work-life balance, and personal goals. I’m also open to Maroubra, Cronulla, or nearby coastal areas (flexible up to Avalon Beach which looks nice).
I grew up in a more regional setting of Victoria where it's cold and as a result, I love being near the sea.
I live simply, just my car, guitar and bed, not much clutter, travel often (try to), and value a calm, respectful home. I do not drink, use drugs or smoke, integrity is part of my career as well. I am very quiet and a peaceful environment is important to me, but I am also highly social and love good company. Outside of work and study, I am excited to join a local gym or swimming club, and to make the most of the coastal lifestyle that NSW offers.
I am currently staying with family in Melbourne until I find the right place, so I appreciate your patience while I strategically plan my move for the start of 2026. Work will only realistically allow me to move after approval (pending) and I have to stay in Melbourne until then. I would love to find a friendly, balanced home where I can settle in for the year ahead of time to start my next adventure.
Thank you so much for considering me — it's a big move alone, so I look forward to connecting first.
Zac
