Clara

I’m Clara, 26, and I work at Terra Madre as a naturopath. I’m also a potter, teaching wheel classes in Northcote and have a studio in Montsalvat for making my own ceramics.
Outside of work, I love going to exhibitions, meeting up with friends for coffee or going on hikes or playing social tennis. In my downtime, you’ll usually find me doing something creative, reading, sewing or cooking.
As a housemate, I’m considerate, easygoing, house-proud and social. I love a good laugh, cooking and sharing meals, heading to live music and gigs, or getting everyone together for trivia or a games night. Equally, I really value having my own space and respect everyone’s downtime. I love the idea of a sharehouse that feels like a home, where people genuinely enjoy spending time together but are also comfortable doing their own thing.
I grew up in northern NSW and spent a couple of years living in Japan, where I worked as a potter’s apprentice and helped facilitate ceramic wood-firing workshops. I found my way to Melbourne a little over a year ago and am now hoping to find a wholesome home with lovely people to settle in with. 🫶
