Laura

Hey! I’m Laura, a 31 year old graphic designer who has recently landed in Melbourne from London and here on a working holiday visa (with every intention of making this city my home!) I’m a freelance graphic designer, currently working remotely for a Sydney based company, and easing myself into local life in the city!

I'm looking to move into a lovely houseshare where I can meet some genuine people and make some new friends. I really enjoy cycling/spinning, cafe hopping, wandering around with my camera and going to festivals in the summer - I'm a big lover of techno/electronic music! I really love cooking and enjoy making meals and hanging out with friends with a glass of wine or two and a good yap sesh. On the flipside, I really value my downtime and love to cosy up with a good book in my room after a pilates class or bathhouse session.

I’ve lived in houseshares for around ten years and feel most comfortable living somewhere clean and tidy with respectful, likeminded people. As much as I love socialising with my housemates, I completely understand the need for down time and appreciate and respect everyone’s boundaries and equally value everyone’s space and energy :)
