Regina, Noemie and Josh

Hi! We’re Regina, Noemie and Josh - three best friends who met when we started our Film & Television degrees at Bond University in September 2024. We’ve been through a lot of late-night film shoots, deadlines, coffees, laughs and probably more group projects than we’d like to admit, and somewhere along the way we became a little family of three.

A little about us:

Regina, 24
I’m an international student from Norway studying Film & Television at Bond, with two semesters left before I finish my degree. I’m very passionate about film and probably spend far too much of my time making films, studying or editing something - when I’m not doing that, you’ll usually find me working out, seeing friends or having a quiet night at home with a movie on. I’m outgoing and always up for a good time, but as I head into my final year, my studies will definitely be a big priority. I’m also very particular about keeping a home tidy, respectful and comfortable for everyone. I’ve had two housemates during my time in Australia and have really enjoyed living with others.

Noemie, 23, From Mauritius
Noemie is also an international student and has just finished her Bachelor of Film & Television at Bond. She’s now working, while still finding time for the things she loves - working out, seeing friends and, of course, occasionally being dragged into whatever Regina and Josh are doing. She’s funny, friendly and outgoing, but also takes a lot of pride in keeping her home clean and looked after. She’s currently living with four other roommates and has been there for the past year, so she’s very used to sharing a home and being considerate of the people around her.

Josh, 24
Josh is in his final semester of the same Film & Television degree and somehow manages to balance uni, work and an internship in film production at the same time. His free time is limited, but when he gets some, he loves hanging out with friends or simply relaxing at home. He is definitely the clown of the group and is responsible for a lot of our laughter, but he’s also incredibly respectful, understanding and easygoing.

We’re probably best described as three people who love spending time together, but also really value having our own space.

We love cooking dinner together, watching movies with a glass of wine, having spontaneous chats in the kitchen and generally making a home feel like a home. At the same time, we all understand the importance having a quiet night to yourself and respecting each other’s privacy.

We’ve also become a pretty good support system for each other. Being international students and working our way through demanding degrees and early careers can sometimes be a lot, so it’s nice having people around who understand. We can laugh about absolutely anything, but we’re also the kind of friends who can sit down for a serious conversation, listen to each other and be there when things aren’t so great.

As housemates, we’re clean, respectful, responsible and adaptable. We understand that a shared home means being mindful of noise, cleaning up after ourselves and considering the people we live with. We’re also very open to communication and feedback - if something isn’t working, we’d much rather talk about it and sort it out than let it become a problem.

Ultimately, we’re looking for somewhere that can feel like a real home for our final stages of university and our time in Australia. We’d love a place where we can be ourselves, have a laugh and occasionally share a dinner or movie, while also giving each other (and our future housemates) the space and respect everyone deserves.

We’re a fun trio, but we’re serious about having a home we’re proud to look after. :)
