Lalou

My name is Lalou and I’m a psychologist from Denmark. I'm currently pursuing a PhD and will be doing a research stay in Melbourne for 3 months from November, so I'm looking for a nice place to live - ideally with a cosy, clean and sociable vibe.

I’m normally based in Copenhagen but I have also lived and worked abroad many times before, including in London, Paris, California, Malawi, Guatemala, Gaza and Somalia. I have only briefly visited Melbourne once before, so I look forward to getting to know the city better!

As a housemate I'm neat and tidy, but not neurotic. I'm sociable and outgoing, but also hardworking and enjoy my privacy once in a while. I love all kinds of pets - especially the furry ones. Apart from that, I am a non-smoker myself, but I have previously lived with smokers and don’t mind it at all.

I'm a considerate housemate, I do my dishes and never skip my chores. I value being friends with the people I live with, enjoy hanging out, cooking together and dinner table discussions. I've previously lived in flatshares with up to 4 people, which has always worked out great.

My interests include travelling, litterature, all kinds of outdoors activities, yoga, breathwork, festivals, politics, live music and much more. I'm a very easygoing, positive and open-minded person, and I usually get along with everyone.
