Hi, My name's Tim. I'm 35, a vegetarian, non-smoker and I love comedy, music, tea, reading, flowers and gardening. I care about the environment, social justice and good vibes. I'm clean, relaxed, friendly, financially independent and good in a crisis (all qualities I'm looking for in my housemates) If I sound like someone you'd like to live with send me a message!
Hi! My name is Dan. I have recently arrived in Melbourne from Brisbane. I have moved to Melbourne for work and I will also be studying part-time at the University of Melbourne for the next couple of years. I am almost 24 years old, tidy and easy to get along with. In my free time I like to watch movies/ sport and have a coffee with friends. I am a very active person. I enjoy exercising and pretty much all sports. I have been living in shared accommodation in Brisbane for 3-4 years now. I am always respectful and polite to my housemates. I think it is really important to feel comfortable in your home and I do my best to accommodate that for others. I am happy to help out if you need a hand and will take very good care of my room and the house. I am looking for a place that is located near(ish) to Parkville/ Melbourne CBD at a reasonable price. Please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks Dan.
Hello Flatmates My name is Sean, I am a 27yr old guy. I'm currently a student in Communications (Media) in my final year at RMIT. Ive just returned from a 6 month study exchange in Singapore/China and i'm hoping I can find a cosy place I can call home. To make ends meet I work for a few companies as a subcontractor/casual in the live events/audio visual industry. I'm a quiet natured fellow who likes coffee, making videos & music. I also like going to friends shows and doing yoga on occasion. Previously I lived in Thornbury and held a lease for two years in a house of four, so I know the importance of a clean, functional and cohesive house! I would say i'm out and about a lot, always scheming on some sort of project, however I do value building meaningful relationships with fellow housemates. If you want to know anything else, get in touch! Cheers Sean
Hi I'm Renee, a 23-year-old Australian female currently working full-time as a Support Worker for a Women’s Refuge Centre in the city centre. For the past 6 months I have been renting an apartment in North Fitzroy with a good friend. Unfortunately, our lease is up on the 30th of July and my friend is going travelling overseas. Hence the need for a place for myself asap. Your set up sounds like it would fit me perfectly. I love my alone time and like to consider myself an independent, open-minded person that is easy to get along with. I like to cook, run, paint and I occasionally attend yoga classes. I’m passionate about my job and the work I do in managing women in crisis. I also love meeting new people, going on all types of adventures and I love to travel when ever I get the chance. If you think I sound like a fit I would love to come around for an inspection when your available 😊
Hi! Im Dylan and i'm a 22 year old labourer with a history of gardening and landscaping so im always out and about the gardens doing bits and pieces, and my girlfriend Denise is a 20 year old student, studying fashion textiles and merchandising full time at RMIT Brunswick and working part time as a gaming assisstant/bartender. Were both really laid back and down to earth people that keep to ourselves mostly but love a good chat over dinner or watching some tv. We are clean and tidy and make sure we contribute to the place we are staying so as to keep everything looking good. We are newbies to Melbourne and hoping that our new flatmates could become friends! (Our move date is flexible but we will be looking to be into a new place hopefully around late Septembe/early October!)
I’m 29, been back in Australia for 18 months now after almost 8 years in Europe. I can cook, I’m clean, and I enjoy a beer or glass of wine. I equal part social but also happy to be on my own. I love my job and am usually out of the house for 12-15 hours every day. My job require me to taste loads of delicious things all the time. And I can give you unlimited amounts of the worlds best coffee! The weekends I live to explore, hike, and take photos.
Hi there, Originally from NZ (originally originally South Africa) and have been living in Melbourne a little over three years - lovely town you've got here. I like to think I tick the basic flatmate boxes; very clean, prompt with the bills, fairly sociable and quite relaxed. If I get the chance I'm not opposed to spending a bit of time away from the city with a hike/camping trip here and there. I've taken up a little bit of amateur running after hours (13k coming up!) I'm also into watching a flick here and there and have certainly been sucked into the Game of Thrones fiasco. Would be great to potentially catch up. Cheers, Kyle
My cleaning abilities / thoughtfulness of other :) is what makes me a great flatmate.
Hiya! I'm Katie and I work as an advertising creative. I'm 30 years old - almost 31 and slightly freaking out about it - and I can cook a pretty mean arrabiata (oh yes, it's spicy). Moved here from Sydney over a year ago for work, and am totally a Melbourne convert. PROS: Can cook, loves a good netflix binge, knows how to use a vacuum, and is rather fond of tasty vino. What I'm looking for: A house I can call home, with fun people who don't mind a low-key drink and a chat!
I am an interior designer and I work Mon - Fri I enjoy socialising, meeting new people, grabbing a drink at the pub and going for rides and exploring on my bike. I love visiting museums and art galleries and I enjoy travelling A LOT! I am also very much into food and enjoy whipping up a good dish every now-and-again(time permitting) Generally I am easy going and fun. I think my sense of humour is definitely in tact :) Home for me is a clean and organised(but comfortable) space. I am neat and tidy. You won't have to worry about me not cleaning up after myself.
Hi Flatmates! I'm a friendly, easygoing and considerate guy in my mid-twenties looking for a semi-furnished/unfurnished room in an apartment or house with open-minded and friendly individuals. I currently work full-time at a specialty coffee roaster and café in Brunswick East so I’m hoping to find something on the north side, close to public transport and main roads as well as being a space to recharge and enjoy my downtime. I enjoy exploring and relaxing outdoors and also really enjoy cooking when I have the time. If I’m not catching up with mates, or holed up in a café reading or scribbling I do enjoy getting lost on YouTube or in my watch list on Netflix. I’m clean and respectful of others space, belongings and privacy, but I do enjoy the camaraderie that a relaxed and sociable living situation can offer. I always have a steady collection of books and magazines and I love plants, so can contribute either to any new space if encouraged.
A gal from Canberra moving on to greener pastures for a 9-5 in the Melbourne CBD. I enjoy making Simpsons references, being overly competitive at friendly board games, attempting to stay fit, finding cool places to get drinks, and breakfast foods for dinner. I am looking for a place to live that will give me easy access to the CBD, but also allows for a bit of regional exploring on the weekends since ill be new to the area. I am tidy, considerate, can cook, and not a tight arse. I would be keen to get around housemate activities, but also have my own friends in the city - looking for a place where people are friends and not just living with one another 🙂 tl;dr - tidy and respectful of privacy - easy to get along with - not a homebody, keen to get out and about - wants to live with you
I'm Adam, I moved down from Brisbane at the start of the year. I used to be a carpenter, now I work in finance so I'm good for a bit of banter. Don't mind a drink in or out. I'm always up to try new places and want to explore the city as much as I can. As far as living with me goes, I'm tidy and respectful. I always clean up after myself and am mindful of others privacy/space/etc. I keep things pretty quiet on school nights, can work long hours. If you think I'd be a good fit, send me a message.
Hi! I'm a 33, and I work part-time as a consultant in community health & development. Recently finished my herbal medicine degree so also looking to start practicing. I moved to Melbourne 18 months ago from the Byron Bay region of NSW. I love cooking, gardening, travelling and playing music. I'm quite social but also love to spend hours reading books with a cup of tea. I'm looking for a home with caring, communicative humans who want to cook meals for each other, have friends over for dinner, know how to talk through challenges with respectful communication and ideally play music and/or boardgames. I love animated debates about philosophy, anthropology, human rights etc over a few glasses of wine. My work hours are flexible, which means I generally start around 10. Sometimes from home, sometimes from a co-working space. I also travel quite a bit for work. I've lived in lots of happy sharehouses and also owned my own place so I'm very well house-trained. I have a reliable income and always pay rent & bills on time. Best things about me as a housemate: I'm clean. (It's a virgo thing) I give great hugs. I love cooking dinner for my house family. I play music (guitar, voice, ronroco - it's an Andean lute FYI). I have a good balance of being home and being away, so you get space. I care for the people in my life, and am considerate and respectful. I like to do fun things with my housies.
Hi, I`m Selena. I am a full time student at RMIT studying Fashion Design. I am easygoing, honest, reliable and creative. I like cooking, reading and designing. I am looking for somewhere close to Uni to share with some friendly easygoing people. I have put AUG 5 as the move in date but that's pretty flexible. Contact me so we can arrange a meeting. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hey! We’re a couple from the U.K and we’ve spent the past 8 months travelling through Europe and Asia before landing in Melbourne a few weeks ago. Jordon works in marketing and Sam works as a web/graphic designer. We’re clean, tidy and respectful, we love to cook, travel, cycle and socialise. We’re looking for a place to call home :)
Heyya guys, Coming back from holidaying overseas so I'm looking to lock in something long-term. Work shift work in a gov job. Super chilled out and easygoing, looking for a friendly sharehouse to slot into or start our own one. Love sport, watching TV shows, cheeky beverages and have a pretty unhealthy obsession with blocks of the smarties chocolate. Ideally looking for people with a good sense of humour Will consider neighbouring suburbs I haven't listed Have sharehouse experience ✔️
I'm a student (fashion design at RMIT) and will be working part time. I'm a great cook, and while I'm pretty laid back, I'me very reliable. My friends tell me I'm fun to be around. I like a laugh, art, festivals, music and friends.
*not moving until approx Aug 20* I’m a registered nurse, relocating from the NT! I have been living and working in Alice Springs for almost two years, and have been lucky enough to be offered a few positions at various hospitals in Melbourne. I’m vego, absolute dog lover, into the gym but also equally into having a couple of wines on a regular basis! Always up for a chat/house dinner and I like to be fairly social/keep myself busy! I will have regular work and stable income, and I’m generally a fun character to have around 💃🏻 I have experience living in share houses - and I can definitely say I’m respectful of others, happy to share and contribute to a household! I am a shift worker so as long as people are respectful of night shift hours (a few shifts a month) etc I’m happy :) I have generally always lived and got along really well/befriended people older than me, and people are usually surprised when they find out I’m only 25 - so I hope my age doesn’t exclude me from people who are solely looking for mature people to live with! I will have my car with me so will need off/close on street parking, but I’d like to be close to public transport to get to work instead of driving
Hi, I'm Annisa, originally come from Bandung, Indonesia. I'm currently doing the second year of a master program in arts at Melbourne University, Parkville. Very tidy (I'm a bit clean-freak especially about the bathroom), tend to be quiet but friendly. I spend most of my time studying at the uni, so I wouldn't be at home much during weekdays. I'm looking for a place within reach of 30 minutes cycling from the uni (and female-only) and planning to move in this mid-August.
Hi there, I just started my semester at Uni Melbourne and I‘m really excited. My stats: German, Clean, Social and love getting to know new people. Looking forward to hear from you, I‘m available the whole week for visits. Best, Daniel
Hi, I have been living abroard for the best part of ten years. Returning to work in August. I have shared homes in the past and therefore respect personal space and responsibilities of communal space. I am fun, quiet, busy and sometimes lazy. I enjoy great company but like my own time too. I expect work will take up much of my time, but am essentially looking to make friends in order to regain a social life in Melbourne.
A bit about me: I am a 23yr old working part-time as a researcher and studying music. I am an easy going, sociable and considerate person. I play and listen to a lot of music and love sharing and discovering new artists. I also love movies, good food, beers, scotch, red wine...all the finer things in life. I’m ideally looking for somewhere to move in long-term, that feels like I’m part of a home rather than just having somewhere to sleep. Hit me up if you think I sound like a good fit! 🙂
