Hey i'm Sam, I'm a Kiwi from Auckland and have just moved to Melbourne to live. I work as an Architect and am excited to explore and add to this incredible city. Would like to join a social flat of good people who are active and are getting amongst it. I packed my possessions up into two suitcases and a box for my push bike and jumped the ditch. I am an easy going guy and have been flatting in Auckland for the past 6yrs with some great people who have become friends. I like to shoot hoops, kick a ball around, have drinks and go to bars/gigs with friends. I also like to garden a bit and do home projects/build stuff. Love music (missing my record collection) and also a good tv series like The Wire for example. I like to cook (Vegetarian) and am very clean and tidy. Looking for a room for the start of 2018 so I don't have to sleep on my sister's couch.
We are two Germans who get along with pretty much anyone and we are easy to be pleased. Whether if you are a quiet person or like going out, we're up for really anything.
Hi everybody, I'm Alex and I left France 5 months to travel. I've been around Asia for the last 4 months, and it was amazing. I'm now in Ausralia to work and meet news people from different cultures cause I really enjoy learning from others. I'm easy to live, adaptable, oh and I love cooking, doing sports, books and even more movies! I've been living with flamates since I'm 19 so I like that and I Know the rule of privacy and cleanliness. Cheers guys
I’ve just come back from traveling in Europe and need to be adopted into a share house for my forever home 🙂 I’m looking for a room north side, I want to be somewhere around north Fitzroy, east Brunswick, west northcote kind of area. Price and moving dates are flexible for the right place/people I love the eating so I get really into cooking, keen for any kind of food share or dinner party pot luck arrangements sometimes or all the times. I’m a fan of board games drinking nights, relaxed mood lighting chill music evening fun times. I have a disability (CFS) so I spend most of my time at home, mostly resting quietly in my room, happy to keep to myself but always keen to listen to my housemates chat/gossip/brag/complain after their long work day when using shared spaces but also perfectly at home keeping to myself/out of peoples faces. I’m wanting somewhere with mature people as far as sex positive, queer friendly, kink friendly and tolerant in all the right places just as I am. I’m fairly clean and tidy in shared spaces, as I’m normally home I always have time to clean up before it’s in anyone else way. I’ve got a steady income and a bond and all the good stuff covered, besides my consistent pension my family would guarantee my bills got paid on time should I say, blow all my money on buying a boat. Also a family seized washing machine and a devilishly comfortable couch, a bunch of decent kitchenware can come with me. If I sound alright, you’re looking for a new housemate, know someone who is or really have anything for me feel free to comment/tag/PM me. Thanks :)
I work full time as a Restaurant Supervisor in Brunswick while slowly building a clothing brand on the side. My interests are fitness, food (&wine) & fashion. I'm easy going, independent & motivated kind of guy who enjoys socialising while keeping a balance of chill time. I'm clean, tidy & considerate housemate who keeps a positive and friendly vibe.
Hi, my name is Daniela, I'm a chilean lawyer, 30 years old and I'm working in hospitality. I'm looking for some private room and private bathroom and flatmates to share. I'm easygoing, respectful and clean. I'm a non smoker, non drinker, dog friendly (I'm sorry, I'm allergic to cats), Griffindor of course, movie geek, tea lover, that enjoys reading, music, sharing a meal and go touring the city. PS: I have another friend that is also looking a private room. She is a student in Melbourne University, so if you have 2 rooms in the same house, so we can live in the same place, I will be great.
I'm a 22 year old international student from Indonesia, studying IT at Deakin University. Looking for a furnished room in a share house with unlimited wifi (as I'm always in front of my laptop doing assignments and work). I would love to live with girls/guys around my age that enjoy hanging out on weekends. Clean, easy going, and love meeting new people.
I'm a student at Melbourne Uni studying Masters of Physics, which takes up most of my time. I'm great with housework. My favourite things to do are settle down with a good book, mindlessly scroll the interwebs, and chatting with friends. I enjoy my music and you will hear me singing/playing the violin (but not in the middle of the night). I also speak mostly fluent Mandarin. I will respect your privacy. Best wishes :)
Hey everyone! Im a third year Global Studies student who is looking to get out of the SE surburbs and settle into something a lil more my style up North. I would love to be in a home where we're a little family despite having our own lives/schedules. My hobbies include being outside, reading, board games, drunk boogies and patting all dogs I can see. I eat vegan, but happy to live with whoever as long as its a happy household. Just looking for a friendly place with good vibes! Ideally looking to move around the end of January, but the date is flexible.
Hey hey! I'm a Perth kid moving to Melbourne late Jan to early Feb to start my masters at the University of Melbourne. I'm looking for a laid back flat share - I'm always down for cooking together, sharing a bottle of wine (gin also more than welcome), exploring the city (I've never been to Melbourne before) and commiserating about living off too little sleep and too much caffeine. That being said, if you also love your alone times, don't stress as I'm the same there too :) I speak basic Mandarin and French. Future flatmates need to understand that I will probably whinge a lot about how much I miss my dog :(
Hey all! My weirdo of a cat Chandler and I are looking for a place to live/people to team up with potentially. I am a full time worker at RMIT University in the city, queer+queer friendly, left leaning, mostly vegetarian (but am not bothered about being in a meat eating or vego/vegan household) and very well house trained. I've been in Melbourne for over 5 years and grew up overseas in Vietnam, Kuwait, Malaysia, and England. Could live by myself but would be good to live with a some other people who like cats/don't mind living with one/don't mind having a cat give you cuddles from time to time. Pretty much open to living anywhere and with anyone so slide into my DMs if you're interested :)
Hi! I'm 25 and work as a nurse in NICU. I'm a friendly, easy going and tidy person to live with. Can provide great banter and a vacuum cleaner. I like to stay pretty busy on my days off, mostly by being outside. I'm into hiking, stand up paddling, yoga and staying social over coffee and wines. I'm looking for a stable place to call home in the inner northern suburbs so that i'm close enough to ride my bike to work, and for some friendly housemates to have a wine/ cup of tea and occasional dinner with!
Hey! My name is Kaz, currently living in Sydney but ready to jump ship & move down to Melbourne! I'll be starting uni full-time at RMIT in February, so am looking for a nice sharehouse to move into in January/February (flexible with dates). I work from home currently so I'll be employed when I move down :) I'm a leftie, LGBT-friendly, non-smoker, clean & tidy, & love to have introvert time but also to hang out with housemates & meet new people in Melbourne. I'll have a busy schedule & I'm a light sleeper so I'm looking for a quieter household with people my age, in a quiet neighbourhood :) I love cats so if you have a cat that's amazing! I can also come with household furniture if needed (dining table, couches etc). I prefer to message on here (not texting), so let me know if you're keen to meet up!
We are a quiet, friendly couple looking to move into an affordable place closer to our respective places of work and study. We are both easy-going, amicable people who work hard and enjoy spending time with others and alone. My name is Tim, and I am a student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in science. I am from the northern Suburbs (Epping/South Morang) and am looking for a nice little place that will allow me to be closer to the university. Outside of uni, I work as a mathematics and science tutor at a boarding school. In my free time, I enjoy swimming/going to the gym, playing music (but not too loud!), reading, and watching good movies/TV. I am rather introverted as a person, and so I enjoy my privacy, but I am very friendly and enjoy a good conversation. Laetitia, my girlfriend with whom I am creating this listing, is from Switzerland, and she is currently working in hospitality in the CBD. Her training is in the hotel industry. She is super friendly, tidy, and able to get along with just about anyone. She enjoys reading, long conversations, and watching good movies. If you are looking for two friendly, tidy, hard-working people to share a house, we hope we would make great housemates!
My Name is Stefano (Stephan) 29, Italian I'm arrived in melbourne in october and i live in briar hill and working in a restaurant in Doncaster I am looking for a room in Brunswick ASAP because the homeowners are selling the one where I live now.
Hi! I'm Renee and my partner moving with me is Dan. We're looking for a place where we can be comfortable, make some new friends in our house mates and find a new home. We'd love somewhere that has a fun, relaxed atmosphere while still being clean, tidy and functional. We look forward to being able to spend quality time with our new housemates, sharing meals together, bingeing our favourite TV shows, or having a quiet night in playing board games and having a drink or two. We (especially me) love animals and would love it if you did too, a friendly dog or cat around the house would be no problem at all. A bit about us... We're moving down from Sydney as I am soon to start a Master of Genetic Counselling at Melbourne Uni! So I will be studying full time and working part time. Dan is a psychologist, currently working with young people, and will be working full time. As I am moving down for the start of uni I will be arriving from the end of January to mid February (date flexible). Dan will be finishing a few things up here in Sydney and hopefully moving down in March/April. We're both active people who love spending time outside (particularly hiking or bushwalking). I love to read, do fun crafty things like knitting (somehow my projects rarely get finished) and I love cooking/baking (my jams and chutnies are in high demand), I'm also mildly obsessed with dogs. Dan enjoys keeping fit and active (running, boxing classes and hopes to take up bike riding), and then likes to come home to relax watching Netflix or having a good chat. If we sound like a good fit for your household please feel free to contact us! We look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'll be new to Melbourne to start studying fashion merchandising. I'll be studying and working at a restaurant. Originally from Brisbane. Most of my free time I'm reading, or shopping, or trying to do something creative. Occasionally play a bit too much video games. I'm open minded and also flexible and good with schedules or plans for cleaning etc. I'm rather quiet and private at home, but still prefer being around other people and eating out most days.
Hello there. I am seeking a home to share with community minded, creative beings who are interested in co-creating a peaceful, harmonious, easy-going, tidy, respectful, loving and nurturing space together. I am currently undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Psychology and as well completing my Kundalini Yoga training program. My hobbies and interests are in : spirituality, philosophy, healing, well-being (meditation, yoga, nutrition, kirtan, natural therapies, etc..), conscious dance, sacred music, films, art, reading, being in nature, eating out, travel, singing and pretty much any workshop or book on self-development that allows me to learn more about myself, others and improve who I am as a person. I am honest, mature and respectful of others space, and also seeking the same from others. I am also drug and alcohol free, and would prefer a home of open, authentic, conscious connections and communication with one another. I am not fussed about living with others who enjoy a wine over a meal, but definitely not interested in a party house. I am interested in a quiet space where I can study, as well as, re-charge and unwind. I would enjoy a conversation, meal or outing with fun-loving housemates every so often. As well as a tidy space, where we all contribute in keeping the environment clean and tidy for all. A home near public transport services is a necessity, preferably train and tram services. An unfurnished room and additional storage space would be ideal. I am vegan and would prefer a vegan and/or vegetarian household. I have lived with meat-eaters before though that are respectful and understanding. I also volunteer in assisting with and marketing events within the conscious Melbourne community, as well as activism for the welfare and rights of animals. I am more than happy to live with cats, and the more the merrier :)
I just finished my Masters in Computer Science from the University Of Melbourne. Currently, I'm trying to get full-time research assistant Job at the university itself. The landlord of the place where I'm staying (Carlton) at present wants to renovate the property (from 21st of this month). So I'm looking for a place that is nearby to the university as well as within my budget.
Hey! I'm a warm, open minded and respectful housemate always up for a good belly laugh, house movie nights, or just chilling on my own in the hammock with a good book. Huge animal lover, so pets are a plus. Vego, but anything but preachy. Musician, but respectful of the quiet hours. Ideally I'd love to find a place with a good garden to help out in, a bath, and I'm hoping for more of a sociable, friendly household; somewhere that's not afraid to go and grab beers together sometimes, while still keeping up a healthy respect for space and privacy too. Not looking for an immediate move, but just testing out the waters, and if the shoe sounds like it fits, let me know!
Hi guys, I'm a Perth girl moving to Melbourne to start uni in February which I'm very excited about. I'm looking for some similar aged people who might be interested in teaming up and finding a cool, little house to share. I'm really looking forward to exploring all of the live music, arts and other cultural things that Melbourne has to offer, and to immerse myself in city life. Ideally, I'd like to be in a house where everyone gets a long and has some similar interests. Although, I'm more than open to the idea of learning and finding new hobbies and interests. I do enjoy a good chat and a party here and there, but am more than keen for a quiet night with some cheap wine and cheese. Let me know if you'd be even remotely eager!
Hello, my name is Ella. I'm a costume designer and tailor, but have recently decided to ditch the freelance life and go to uni next year to study fine art. I'm looking for a place in the inner city which is reasonably accessible by public transport. I'm quiet, clean and tidy, and tend not to be home that much, currently I spend most of my time at my studio and also work part time in a cinema. I'm a good cook and a good baker. I don't eat meat but do eat fish. When I'm home I'm quite happy to hang out and have a chat, but am also totally understanding of everyone's need for space at times. I don't have any pets, but don't mind if you do, and if you have a cat I'd be pretty happy about that.
