I'm 21 years old, gay, born and raised in Melbourne, and work most of the time at a café called Grub in Fitzroy. Favourite past times include: drinking amaro and pretending I'm European/ reading/ saving dollars at the Nova on Mondays. I'm beginning a Bachelor of Creative Writing mid-year, though I've studied French in the past. I'm a very considerate and social housemate, but also love my down-time in my own space. Let me know if you would like to meet!
Hellooooooo guys! I'm Thomas, a 28 year old working holiday maker from the Netherlands. I arrived in Oz about 8 months ago, but I love it so much here that I'm going to extend my visa with another year. Obviously, Melbourne is the place to be hence I'd like to absorb all the good vibes this city has to offer! I'm looking for a place that feels like home with a bunch of friendly outgoing people, though I'm not looking for a party house. Are you looking for a spontaneous, funny guy to join your 'family'? Look no further and send me a message! Cheers
I'm a very friendly, outgoing guy. I'm from Mexico, and I just finished my studies at Melbourne Uni and will be starting a new job next week based in the city. I'm looking for a place close to the city. I plan to use my bike as my transport. I like technology, movies, music, singing, Mexican food and good company over a drink of tequila. You'd love having me in your house cause I'll cook you up some tasty tacos!
I grew up in Western Australia, moved out of home at 20 and have been living on the Mornington Peninsula for the past two years with some great housemates. I'll be seeking a full time job in HR as I have just graduated, working in hospitality in the mean time. I'm pretty social, spending most of my time off out with friends and when I'm home I like netflix, beer, cooking (which I share of course) and I'm tidy and respectful :)
I am a student, I'm moving for study. I'm from Adelaide where I've lived in a bunch of lovely places - I'm not a share house novice! Non-smoker, tidy. I love buying flowers even though I can't afford them. I can cook.
Hi, I am a 24-year old Japanese/Irish who does master of development studies in Melbourne uni. I am outgoing and sociable, but respectful and easygoing at the same time. I'm a vegetarian who cooks vegan food at home, oh yes, I love cooking. I also love animals, music, dancing and sports. I used to dance flamenco when I was in uni, but now I'm trying salsa. I enjoy eating and drinking with my friends, but I am definitely not a party animal type of a girl so don't worry about that :) Oh and lastly, I love learning languages and in fact I have been studying Spanish and Portuguese for a couple of years.
I’m great company with flexible easy- going attitude. Work full time in the city so will be home in the evenings most nights. Love the arts and enjoy live music and the theatre. I also love to cook and would love some company over dinner for a chat or even watch a movie with some wine :-) I love animals and happy to live with one. I’m neat and tidy and quite enjoy cleaning. Looking forward to sharing with a few great people!
I’m easygoing, independent, employed andsometimes need to chillaxing after my work. I’m an artist and a quiet musician. I’d love a space to practise such as a garage 2-4 hrs a day preferably. I’m open minded, vegetarian but respectful of other people’s values and beliefs. I’m independent but sociable love a chat every now and again. I’m out and about a lot at gigs, playing music, art shows, travel and in nature.

Hi Guys, I am a French young women in Melbourne for a WHV (working in a cafe) Easy going, friendly and calm. Love cooking, yoga, cinema, travels and spend funny and sharing moments around a dinner or a glass of wine, also like have my own space. Ideally I would prefer to find a female sharehouse with 1 or 2 flatemates or a couple. Also an animal lover and glad to meet new people ! Cheers
I work full time at the Country Road Group as an office assistant and my hours are 7am to 3pm Weekdays I’m pretty quiet, Ill either be at home relaxing, cooking, watching tv or reading, or out for dinner, seeing a movie, etc. On the weekends, I’m usually out and about with friends having brunch, going to markets/shopping or down to the coast. If I party I generally take it out of the house however I do enjoying having friends popping over for a wine/beer/whatever or two. I consider myself a very clean person however I’m not going to have an anxiety attack over a dirty dish in the sink. Im looking to either join a current house share or team up to start a new one.
Hey, future bestie! I'm an international student at the University of Melbourne, with major in Construction Management. Pure Armenian raised in Russia. Have lots of cultural backgrounds to share! Passionate about languages, now speaking English, Armenian, Russian and currently learning Spanish. My life goal is to speak 10 different ones. I consider myself as mature, hard-working person. Always clean up everything after myself and respect others. I believe that my freeness end where another persons begin. I am easy going and positive, with high hygiene standard. I love European food, exceptionally crazy about Italian... mmm... lip-smacking! Recently fell in love with the Indian and Chinese kitchen as well. Also, I could sell my soul for a good apple cider or vine, not an alcoholic though:) Oh, btw, I have an awesome red motorbike, so grab a helmet and hop on the bike for a windy race! If you've read till this point and think that we share common values and interests, I would be happy to share living space with you! I'm looking for a place for at least 6 months or more (1 year or more). Feel free to drop a message!
Hello! My name is Elena. I work full-time in university admissions during the week. I also work as a casual exam invigilator on the weekends. I am currently completing a course in CELTA and also study Spanish at RMIT part-time. My husband (Geovanny) will be staying with me until the end of July after which he has to return to Ecuador. I will be moving to Ecuador so looking for a place I can stay until the end of the year although no definite date is set yet. I enjoy cycling and reading. I am a lover of languages and of learning. When I have the time, I will cook a bit and sometimes bake as well. Don't mind a glass of wine every now and then. Happy to mingle but also quite happy to be left completely to my own devices. I do my best to keep things clean and tidy and am willing to work to a shared cleaning roster for shared spaces.
Update: I found a place, come live with me I'm a young guy working full time as a web developer in Fitzroy, looking for a fun inner city place with some cool housemates. I'm generally pretty laid back, and not much bothers me. I just want to live with fun people I can have a laugh with. I'm perfectly happy either chilling in my room for days on end or hanging out with people and being social. I'm super considerate, the worst thing I can think of happening is that my actions will negatively impact someone, so I'll generally do my best to make sure everyone is having a good time. I have two adorable 6 month old cats, Audrey and Wally, who are super loving and really clean. I'm vegan, but again I'm pretty laid back. As long as you're cool and respect my lifestyle I can roll with the punches. I'm also a musician, playing guitar, bass and keyboard, but aside from singing in the shower I play with headphones so you wont have to worry about any loud 3am jams. Being a computer nerd, I come with my own supder high speed unlimited internet connection, and am happy to be the house IT department. I also come with a good fridge, a Nutribullet, basic kitchen supplies and one of those cube shelving/TV units from Ikea.
I’m a really busy but attentive person who considers others. I appreciate the value of good communication, empathy and positive vibes in a share house (and life). I’m a full time secondary teacher at a demanding private school and I’m also studying a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology Part time. I think the way to make a positive environment and happy home is to invest time in developing relationships that are built on respect, understanding and kindness. It’s good to have a balance of separateness and collectiveness.
Hi there! I'm an artist from New Jersey, USA relocating to Australia! Looking to make new friends and enjoy my year abroad as much as possible. I love theater, music, film, books, art, good food and good beer/ wine/ whiskey :) As a roommate, I like a clean space and I do like some personal private time but I'm also very social and would love to live with people who are open to hanging out and having a few beers when we are free. I'm very easy going and only ask that my roommates respect the space we live in. Excited to meet ya!
My name is Kaoli, I'm female - 25 years old, originally from the Queensland but my whole family relocated to Melbourne about 2 years ago. Prior to that I spent 3 months traveling through Europe in 2016 and did a working holiday visa in Vancouver, Canada for a year across 2014-2015. I currently work full time at a bustling, small hole in the wall cafe the CBD. I work 5 days a week with my shifts ranging from opening shifts where I finish at 2pm or closing shifts that finish around 6:30pm. I really enjoy my current workplace, I also love to traveling, eating delicious food, drinking coffee and exploring everything that Melbourne has to offer. I may not have too much share house experience apart from my one year in Vancouver but I am kind, respectful, tidy, easy going and reliable with payments/bills. I'm pretty busy throughout the week so generally keep things low key and to myself. Love a good chat, occasional movie nights, meal sharing and coffee hang outs.
Friendly, social, considerate, super clean, no smoke, no drugs.. full time job, always pays rent / perfect rent & bills history.. Shared-house trained, will participate in house keeping... No dramas 👍 👌
Hi, I'm Jacky. I work as a full time primary school teacher in Glenroy. I am looking for a home where I can stay long term but also closer to where I work. Having lived in student accommodation with a variety of people over the last four years in university and now also living independently with a flatmate (through flatmates.com.au funnily enough), it has made me adaptable and easygoing as a housemate. While I will most likely crash in my room after a long day of work and am introverted in nature, I am always down for bonding opportunities and exchanging some amazing banter over a couple of bevs. I am a fan of video games, marvel movies, hiking, going to the gym, corny jokes and quality brunches. (Bonus points if you enjoy Netflix and can become friends with this nerd) I can have an active nightlife from time to time, however I keep that outside no matter what and never bring any of that racket home. If I have friends over, I'll always ask for permission first and keep noise to a minimum. Cleanliness has always been a priority to me and I make it a commitment that it remains so in communal areas. My ideal home would be: - Close to public transport and shops (walking distance preferred). - Have space for parking because I have a car (off street or on street is fine). - Inclusive of all bills. - Budget friendly (unfortunately my rent budget is non-negotiable and cannot go any higher than stated). Long story short; if you're looking for a housemate, a new friend, and a tenant who pays their rent on time - I might just be what you're looking for! As I work on a 8-6 schedule, I will not be able to take calls. The best way to reach me is through this website and I'll get back to you ASAP! Looking forward to hear from you soon :)
Hi there! :) I am a health-professional looking for a long-term accommodation. I have done a fair bit of travelling and living in shared accommodation over the years and truly appreciate sharing space with nice folks. I am respectful of your personal space, very easy going, and looking forward to a clean and comfortable home to come back to after a long day's work. I do not drink or smoke, but always love cider-fueled conversations over a lazy weekend. Depending on the weather and my work schedule, I would head down to the beach and try to catch some dinner. Otherwise, I might be in the mountains for the snow during the winter months. Please drop me a message if I sound like a decent housemate to you. Thanks. Sito
Despite being on the wall of shame, for being unable to devour the gargantuan hot dog (see above), I am still a great human being. I promise, even ask my mum. Onto the boring stuff about myself: -- I am 25 years old. -- Working as an audio engineer at Crystal Mastering -- Work in a nightclub on the weekend -- I play the drums -- Quiet but enjoy hanging out with housemates I have 7 years of rental history, with sharing houses with girls and guys.
