Hello, my name is Taycian. I am looking for a lovely place to live in the north suburbs for myself and my charmer of a scruffy little doggy Mingus. I work full time as a Social Worker at the Royal Women's Hospital. I love my job and chatting to all different types of people. I stay pretty busy and get pretty excited about seeing Bands, an odd vino or two out on the town with pals, doing some twists and bends in the odd yoga class and getting stuck into a good book. I have also been known to whip up some culinary treats in the kitch. I think it's so great to have a share house where roomies can share a meal and a chat and have a good chuckle from time to time. I am a respectful housemate, have good boundaries, generally adult pretty well and I am tidy and considerate. My little dude Mingus is a small, white rescue pooch. He is very house trained and I would bet my left arm that he will live his life and never chew up a stray shoe. Ming's a quiet and friendly guy who has seemed to charm the pants of every past roommate I have come across. If we sound like we would be a good match, feel free to send me a message. I am available to move into a new house any time!
Hi my name is Courtney! Currently living in Melbourne in a share house but have to move out by early July. Pride myself on keeping a clean home and being easy going. I'm pretty much always chilled, very hard to piss off and try to make life easier for everyone by trying to get along no matter what :) Please don't hesitate to send me a message! Hopefully, with your help, I can find my new home!
Hi, I am Janet. I am currently studying in Master of Animations in RMIT. And I am looking for a new place in August. I have lived in Brisbane for 6 years and worked as a motion graphics designer for 5 years. And I just moved to Melbourne last February and enjoy my student life in Melbourne. I am a person like quiet and prefer personal space. Based on my background, I like design, art, and movies but also enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling and running. From my experience with sharing houses with other people, I have been a head-tenant before and know how to be a tidy share mate and maintain house clean. And most of my previous housemates are my good friends. I am looking for a place which can let me settle down and can move in in August, and also can enjoy the culture in Melbourne.
I am a Thai male student aged 28, studying project management in Melbourne. Taking a photo(you can see some pics on my Instagram is jesssjsr, ) and going the beach are my hobbies, cooking and camping are the latest activity that I'm interested at the moment. Now I'm looking for a shared house which should be tidy, clean and having friendly mates.
Hey! A cruisy guy here currently looking for an ideal place convenient to the city. Prefer north side but exceptions can be made. I'm clean, respectable and get a long with most people. If you're the same, hit me up Luke :)
I've just moved back to Australia after living in the US for the last two years. I'm 30 years old and work full time as a software engineer. I'm pretty easy to get along with and have plenty of share house experience. I'm always keen to share a few drinks and a meal with my housemates. I'm a fairly decent cook as well and have learned how to cook a proper BBQ after living in the US! I like travel (my most recent destinations were Peru & Cuba), skiing, and enjoying some live music. Looking to move in ASAP!
Hi, My name's Tim. I'm a 33 year old aspiring comedian. I am a vegetarian and a non-smoker and I love comedy, music, reading, flowers and gardening. I'm clean, relaxed, friendly, financially independent and good in a crisis, all qualities I'd like in my housemates. If I sound like someone you'd like to live with send me a message!
I'm french, 32 and came in australia 1 year and half ago. The plan is to be here more longer . Waiting for the sponsor to be approved, so should be soon now. I'm working as a manager in a thai restaurant near victoria market, full time with pretty good hour for hospitality. Generally monday to friday until 9pm. I live in northcote at the moment. What houseshare means to me is like family, enjoy a glass, a meal, a party, a trip maybe, a chat and laugh times to times but obviously respect alone time aswell. Because I'm french i will try to bribe you with a bottle of wine. So if you have some preference let me know😊. I lived in japan for 4years so in my text a use a lot of emojis 😅 hahaha Cheers
We are a fun, energetic and easy going couple that would love to be apart of your home. Anni was born in Florida, America, but grew up in Finland most of her life, she met me (Massimo), who was born and raised in Melbourne, In Vietnam during our travels. We have only just moved back to melbourne and are in need of a place to stay. Hoping we can be apart of your beautiful home! Massimo and Anni
From the UK originally, have lived here 7+ years. Looking to start a lease on a house northside, pretty keen to get a cat :) I work Monday to Friday and enjoy chilling out in the evenings, producing music, going down the pub, watching movies, cooking badly, etc. On weekends I often DJ around bars in Melbourne. I also love Hawaiian pizza...sorry. If you're interested, let's catch up for a drink!
22yo English/Aussie gal working in a restaurant and occasionally temping in admin. I'm looking to start a course in social work next year (fingers crossed). I'm happy to do less than a year but I plan to be in Melbourne for a while so I'd love to find a place to call home. I moved to Aus from London in September, and I've been in and around Melbourne since November. I'm living in Fitzroy North at the moment with a family friend and I've completely fallen in love with the area so I wanna stay as close as possible. I was born in Sydney, so I've got dual citizenship which is pretty cool and means I can stay forever and I won't bugger off after a couple of months cos my visa has expired. I'm super easygoing, I like to bake, go to gigs/galleries/gay bars, drink coffee/wine, hang out with dogs (cats are cool too but pups have a special place in my heart). I love to party (although I don't want/need a party house - I like to keep it chill at home) and go on adventures. I love to hang out with friends/family and I tend to leave my door open.
Hey future housemate! My names Justin, I'm a 31y/o guy from melbourne. Im into surfing, hiking ,yoga and the great outdoors, but also appreciated a chilled night on the couch. I work full time in the city during the week, and generally start my days pretty early getting into town on the push bike (weather permitting). Im pretty clean, relaxed and easy to live with kind of guy, ive been in a few share houses before so im aware how important respecting each others space can be. In terms of a home, I'm seeking a relaxed, friendly, fun and clean house with respectful and social house mates. Would like an outside space, sharing with two others, male or female, somewhere around my age. Well, this has been great, get in touch if you’re feelin’ my vibe! Juzzy.
Hi my name is Matt I'm 33 years old, I work full time 8:30 to 17:00 as an Occupational Therapist. On weeknights I will most likely be indoor rock climbing, socializing with friends or relaxing at home. On weekends I like to get away camping and outdoor rock climbing around once a month, sometimes more. Other than that I enjoy cooking, wine, and heading to the movies sometimes.
Hi all i'm looking for a new place. I'm 23, work full time in asset management and have a car. I am also about to study my masters in finance. I have a Greek Australian background. Easygoing, reliable and clean. Let me know if you have a furnished room available! Thank you
Hi! I'm Rachel. I'm a cheerful, easy-going 36 year old looking for similarly friendly and relaxed peeps to live with. I'm happy to find something for 2-3 months while I search for something more permanent. Having a home I love is important to me - it's somewhere to bring friends, somewhere to escape to, somewhere to get lost in my latest creative project or boogie in the bathroom while I'm getting ready for work. I like living with calm, mature open people who have their own lives but don't mind a chat or a shared meal from time to time. I work full time in the CBD, and like to spend my spare time catching up with friends, dancing, cooking, reading, sewing, and having a little dalliance with Netflix every now and again. I have a busy social life and am out quite a bit, and it would be great live with others who are similarly social. I've met some great people through previous housemates! It's worth mentioning that I appreciate having a tidy home, so if that's not your thing then we're probably not destined to be roomies. I'm looking for a place in the inner north - Fitzroy North, Brunswick East, Northcote are my preference - with up to 3 people. I'd love a place that's got a light airy feel and is close to public transport, and a garden is a definite plus.
I am currently looking for a room anywhere around Melbourne CBD and its surrounding areas. I am a very easy going 30 year old that currently works for a bar in the city (bartending but also managing their social media and PR on the side). I am very respectful of other people's spaces, love a good chat / hang but also love 'me' time. I am very clean and pay rent and bills on time. I have two rescue pups, Wolfgang my tiny staffy and Loki my big sook. Both are well behaved, toilet trained etc. They absolutely love people and bring a smile to everyones faces. I am happy to also pay a pet bond on top of whatever bond is required.
Hey I'm Pim, I'm currently looking to move into a two bedroom apartment closer to they city. I'm not too bothered about the suburb as long as it's close to Fitzroy where I I work full-time Monday - Friday. I am also looking for a place with a car spot or at least on street parking/permit. I am looking for someone who is quite independent but doesn't mind a few catch ups throughout the week. Because of the type of job I do, I often come home exhausted so I am looking for someone who is quiet and chilled on weeknights but happy to socialise on the weekends if they'd like. Anyways I look forward to hearing from you. Pim
Hi I'm Olivia, I'm originally from London and moved to Melbourne at the end of March 2017 in order to flee the impending fall out of Brexit! I'm here on a Working Holiday visa and back in London I worked in project management in local charities. I've only been here a short while but so far everyone I've met has been lovely, so hopefully I can find some lovely people/ person to live with too! I'm a bit of a bookworm and a writer, but also enjoy drinks with friends, scoping out good food, coffee, Marvel films, live music, and anything artsy that I don't fully understand. Oh and sarcasm, I never leave home without it. I'm currently way out in Cranbourne whilst I look for work in the city, so I'm hoping to find a place to move to by 1st May, ideally a place without pets!
I'm a 28 year old animal, cartoon and internet lover. I also enjoy learning languages, cycling, hiking around the world and learning anything new! I'm always busy and like variety! I work at a wildlife sanctuary in education and at an indigenous nursery. I also have my own petsitting micro business and freelance for the environmental team at a local council. I have two rats - who I call my little men <3 Harvey and Dwayne are old and keep to themselves in their little cage sleeping the day away. You likely won't even notice they are there! If there are any other pets in the house that's ok as long as I can keep them secure in my room (a lock on the door would be great!)
I'm a creative and musical individual who loves to eat and laugh with friends. Having lived by myself for a while, I'm great at adulting - including paying rent/bills on time and keeping the house clean. I'm sociable, but very independent so value alone time. I'm looking for a reasonable sized bedroom and a secure back-yard for Indy. Indy is a small, 8 year old Chi-Hound (Dachshund x Chihuahua). He is super friendly and polite; at the moment he comes to work with me most of the time. For the past couple of years I have been managing an artisan jewellery business. I'm pretty relaxed and quiet during the week, but I love to go out dancing.
Hello! I'm Laura, a copywriter, 30, who love books, magazines, boardgames, cooking (I'm vegan) plants, writing, travelling, being in nature, cycling around Melbourne, and gin. I'm studying my masters part time in publishing at Melb Uni, and am also working on a couple of other creative projects (including a podcast!). I generally like to keep pretty busy through the week, heading to gigs, feminist events, seeing friends etc, and will tend to potter around the house on Sundays, cooking up a storm for my week ahead or working on personal projects. I'm clean and tidy in shared areas (but not super uptight about it), always pay bills on time, and am not looking to live in a party house. I'm looking for a place to call home, somewhere to feel settled and happy to come back to. I also would love to live with someone creative and self-motivated, who likes to have shared dinners and a wine/beer from time to time to chat about life. Disclaimer: I come with a slightly grumpy cat, Millicent. She's a 10 year old, slightly overweight (we're working on a diet together!) rescue cat who sleeps most of the day and is well house trained. She doesn't claw furniture and has short hair which doesn't malt much. She isn't overly cuddly and mostly keeps to herself, so would probably suit someone who doesn't like cats all that much. She is most affectionate at night while I'm trying to sleep – but she sleeps in my room so that won't be an issue (bonus?) for you!
Hi, I'm Hannah (23, American) I've been living in Melbourne the past 2 years. I originally came on Work and Holiday and loved it so much I stayed. I am currently in school full time at RMIT (second year) studying Media Communications with a major/focus in Politics and Economies Communication. On top of that, I work in a kitchen in Fitzroy around 30 hours a week. With both school and uni - I keep pretty busy and out of the house though I do love to have a quick drink and chat. I currently live in Carlton but am looking to move due to cost purposes. I hope to find someplace I can live long term as I am pretty tired of moving around. As well as someplace welcoming and "homey". I have lived in a variety of share housing environments and know how to live like a functioning human. Other things about me: Favorite TV Show: Broad City or Arrested Development Favorite Podcast: Sooo Many White Guys or Unqualified w/ Anna Farris Best book I read in the past year: Live From New York: An Oral History of Saturday Night Live (I'm a big comedy nerd) Currently Bingeing: Insecure How I spend my free time: On Tuesdays, I volunteer at SYN FM on their politics and news show. I don't go out much but when I do I like to go out to indie pop dance nights (Finishing School, Yah Yah's), I also Love to hit up cheap Mondays at Cinema Nova. Hope to hear from ya :)
Hi, I'm a 32yo professional that has recently re-established myself in Melbourne after spending 10 years in Western Australia. I'm looking to move from my existing share house to something with a bit more room and in a much quieter street. Generally looking in the north and west within a 30 PT or bike ride of the CBD. I work a regular 8-5 job with very occasional field work away. I've spent the majority of the past 15 years in share houses and as such I come to you as a clean, tidy and respectful housemate whom contributes to household chores. I enjoy sharing a meal and socialising with the household, but am also busy and happy to do my own thing. My weeknights are generally pretty quiet, but I tend to plan quite a few hiking/camping/skiing/family trip for the weekends. I also love travel, dancing salsa and sitting on the front porch with a wine. I'm looking for a small household with not more than 1-2 other people. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or would like to meet up and chat! Thanks for stopping by my profile.
