Happy to chat over a couple drink but also respect and like private personal time. Ideally looking for room with private bathroom and maximum 3 bedroom apartment. All female house mates preferred.
Hi there! I'm Héloïse, a 22-year-old Master student studying Communications and Marketing in Paris :). I just moved to Melbourne for the whole year: I'm studying a semester at University of Melbourne and then I want to do an internship here to have a professional experience in an english speaking country. I'm looking for a 12 months accommodation. I'm a joyful and tidy person who loves travelling, running, watching good films as well as Harry Potter, Lord of the Ring, GOT, going out with my friends, socializing... I always have a smile on my face and laugh a lot (you will soon discover that I have the most funny laugh on earth ahaha!). I like to do my own things but I also search housemates I can be friends with and do what friends usually do: drink a glass of wine in the evening (or maybe more like four or five glasses #frenchpeoplestyle), share meals, cook together and go out together on the weekends. Hope to hear from you very soon!
Current undergraduate student studying Psychology/Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne and have just transferred from the University of Sydney this semester. I have experienced living with others when I did a French Immersion programme in Quebec City last year and really loved the experience. I enjoy reading, travelling, music, and going to the beach. I am responsible, tidy, honest and considerate. Very happy for my previous host family in Quebec (although some translating may be required as they only speak French!) or my former school principal to be contacted for a character reference.
-Primary School Teacher - I can teach you basic maths and keep you up to date with the latest tween trends -Super friendly -Bit of a clean freak -Can cook an asian feast -Provides mild comic relief -Will be your designated driver on your nights out* *unless I am with you
My names Chris, I am 21 years old and just relocated to Melbourne from Perth! I am originally from the Untied States but I live here now. I've been here for a few weeks now and am desperately looking for accommodation. I'm defiantly not looking for a party environment looking for somewhere chilled out and kicked back! always up for a few beers and good banter though. Back in Perth I studied business and plan on continuing my studies here. For hobbies, I love to surf, fish, and camp. Basically anything outdoors! Shoot me a message if you have a room available (:
Hi there, my name's Matthias, 25 y/o, international student from Berlin spending one semester at Melbourne University and taking classes in Communication and Political Science. I consider myself to be an easy going, considerate, relaxed housemate and have lived in flat shares for the last five years, so I know the do's and don'ts. I love traveling (that's part of the reason why I'm here), cooking, trying (veg.) foods from all over the world and will probably pick up some sport while I'm here. I like it quiet at times but hardly ever say no to a coffee or beer and a chat. I'm also into languages, so if any of my future housemates are keen on practicing French or Spanish - I'm in! I'll be in Melbourne until early December. Seeking to move in asap. So if you're interested, don't hesitate to contact me!
Hi there, I'm a 21yr old exchange student from Ireland looking for a place to stay for ideally 12 months. I'm studying economics at the university of Melbourne, I'm very friendly and would love to stay with all kinds of people! Interests wise, I love cycling, cooking and plan on learning how to scubadive while here in Australia I'm looking for somewhere that's relatively close to uni and not too loud or rowdy during the week but I'd love to get a coffee or beer with my possible future housemate(s)!
Hey future housemate, it's me, Nicolas. I am 23 years old and I study Chemical Engineering in Germany but now I am finally here - in lovely Melbourne - ready for my exchange semester at Unimelb and my internship afterwards. I grew up in Colombia but my parents are German-Colombians, so culturally speaking I am sort of a mix of both countries. I have lived for 5 years in Germany in a shared flat, so I know how it works and I know what it means respecting others personal space and sharing the house duties. As to me, I am absolutely into having great conversations and doing some sport (and of course dancing Latin American Music ;) )or just hang out a little bit and chill. And if you would like to practice your Spanish or German, let's go.
My name is Ruvé Burns, I'm an 18 year old student from Queensland studying a diploma of Hospitality and Management. Not currently employed but looking for work as a barista when I find a place to live. I'm habitually tidy and neat, I like to read in my room sometimes, I like to socialise other times, I love music and animals even though I don't have any of my own. I drink a lot of tea so the kettle may be boiling all the time...but the most annoying thing about me? I sing in the shower. Let's live together.
What up fine folks of Melbourne! My name's Sal, and i'm teaming up with my buddy Nathan to look for a 2-bedroom sort of long-term lease situation. I'm studying to finish a Master's degree at RMIT, and my weeks otherwise have me busy with part-time work as a Copywriter. Nathan is a fella who's likewise busy with work and his enterprise – so that pretty much makes the two of us busy urban types who are looking for a place we can look after, and call a home. If you're a home owner looking to fill a lease for a minimum of a year, or a current tenant with vacancy to fill 2 private rooms, we'd love to get in touch, get to know yas a little better, and arrange for an immediate viewing. Thanks for giving this a read – hope to hear from you soon!
Alex here. I'm writing my PhD in international relations and tutoring undergrads at Uni of Melbourne. I am from the UK/ NZ and have lived in Australia for 2 years. I've just returned to Melbourne from a big overseas research trip, and am looking for a long-term place to call home. Something 6 months+ in a Melbourne inner-city suburb is ideal. I'd like to be able to walk or bike ride to the university campus within 20-30 minutes. A bit about me: I like films/ cinema outings, reading, learning Arabic, hiking, camping, wine, beer, cheese... I enjoy conversations about politics/ IR, sociology, psychology, religion, science, films, books - most things, really! My schedule is kind of ridiculous - I work a lot - so I'm sadly not the best fit if you are wanting to create a super social house, but can still commit to 2-3 evenings a week for housie activities. I'd be happiest living with like-minded people who are politically progressive, working, and 25 years+. Bonus if you would be up for the ocassional cinema/gig/comedy outing or going hiking together! I'd be extremely happy to live with a dog. Admin-y things: I'm a non-smoker, financially secure, good with kids, very dog friendly but allergic to cats. I own bedroom furniture already, but I can sell it if absolutely necessary. I also travel interstate and overseas fairly regularly.
I am looking for a private , furnished, decent and modern property preferably en-suited with bathroom and kitchen . I am IT Professional , non-smoker , super clean and have no pet .
I've recently transferred to La Trobe from Murdoch uni in WA; studying film and sociology full-time and working hospo when I can. I'm tidy, I enjoy good company/conversation, and I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I lived in the UK for 11 years, and I once won a limbo competition. Good with dogs.
34 years old and work as a freelance photographer and an arts therapist. At the moment, I work from home about 3 days a week (editing and planning) and 2-3 days out on location. I'm into sharing meals, wine, heart to heart chats and all that good stuff to get to know the people I'm living with. I value people and open communication. I would like to live in a multi cultural home, as diversity is the spice of life. I'm interested in permaculture, but yet to gain the skills, willing to put the hours into the garden to get my thumbs green. I'm quirky and creative. I enjoy gatherings and being social and every now and again I'll go off on a silent retreat when I need a little zen time and clarity. I love all kinds of music from around the world. Other loves... nature, dancing (african and latin), yoga (I gotta get back on that bike ;) ), travel, movies, documentaries, food, talks that scratch the surface, acting like a kitty cat and putting on random accents. If I sound like your hommie to be, feel free to contact me :) Also, I'm looking to move at the start of November, but if I find a suitable place sooner, then I can be flexible with dates. I live in the South side but much prefer the creative and diverse flow of the North folk. Marlène (aka Marz)

Hello, I'm Lauren, 23 years old, a generally chilled person who likes to travel, go to gigs, have a cider and a chat, always up to meeting new people. Looking to stay in Melbourne for about a year. I have been living there since 2013 in two share houses, so very respectful of the space etc. Have just been travelling around the world for 6 months and ready to get back into reality. While In Melbourne I will have hours at a supermarket and have enough money saved so rent and bonds won't be any issue :). Interested in the North of the CBD/St Kilda area, anywhere I can bike to Carlton or the CBD in half an hour or so. Also eat meat, and like to cook meals when I can, happy to share them with future housemates. Message me if I sound like the right fit for your humble abode, look forward to meeting you! :)
I'm a friendly, easygoing gay man. Originally from the country but have been living in Melbourne for about three years. I've been at my current place in St Kilda for over a year now, but am looking for a change, ideally to move northside.
Hi, I'm a 24 year old urban planning student from the Netherlands, going to Melbourne for an internship. I'll be working most of the time, but in my spare time I hope to explore Melbourne, do some cooking (I've been experimenting with desserts lately), have a drink with a nice conversation and check out the surroundings on the weekends. I like to go sailing and I do some painting and drawing. I'm used to living in a shared house with other students. I'm looking for a room, I don't mind if it's small. Access to a kitchen would be nice and I would like to share a house with others. I'm looking forward to my stay in Melbourne, and a nice room would be a big plus:)
