My name is Karen and I am looking for a cozy place closer to work. I am a quiet, warm and easygoing person who prefers a clean and calm space. I tend to like doing my own thing, such as reading/writing, gardening or listening to music as I craft, otherwise I love going out for walks and/or hikes. I am very respectful and considerate of other people’s space and belongings, and prefer living with others similar in that regard, including cleanliness. I keep communal areas clean on the regular. Although I’m quite private, I’m down for hang outs and good chats, but remain respectful of my and other’s need for alone time.
I’m no professional but I enjoy cooking my own food for meals and occasionally baking a sweet treat- you are more than welcome to take the sweet treats off my hands (I portion with my heart). I also love gardening and come with some plants, although I’m admittedly more a brown thumb than a green one. Most of my plants are outdoor plants in pots (a fig tree is in the works and I love her so much).
I sometimes work and come home late and need the sleep, so an understanding and quiet space is important to me. I am also mindful of the noise I may make when I come home- I’d hate to disturb anyone. I don’t mind gatherings or people coming over but would appreciate timely notice and I will do the same. I value having a safe space and being included in conversations regarding the home and its goings, especially when other people are involved. I tend to go out when meeting friends, so you’d hardly have to worry about me bringing people over.
An all women household is preferable.
I do not smoke, vape, or have/like going to loud parties and would like to live with those who are the same. I see my room and home as a place to relax and destress from the rest of the world, and appreciate a tidy and calm space. I do not drink, but do not mind if you do. I’m all for diversity and open-mindedness to multiculturalism, and hope you are too.
