Hey everyone!

I am returning to Melbourne in February, having spent the past 2 months travelling. I am a recent arrival to Australia from Ireland. Professionally, I am a primary school teacher as well as a risk and compliance analyst, with specialisms in financial crime compliance and political risk. I have been working as a substitute teacher in Melbourne, while simultaneously seeking opportunities in risk and compliance.

I am seeking a room in a house share in Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond, Brunswick and surrounding areas. I am also happy to consider other areas within circa 20 minutes or so of Fitzroy on public transport. My budget is circa 300-400 per week.

I have lived in several countries as an emigrant, most recently Switzerland. I have also lived in Scotland, the UAE, Canada and Kuwait. I would describe myself as relaxed, friendly and adventurous. In a house share dynamic, I enjoy social activities together, but completely understand that this doesn't suit everyone. I have excellent references and respect the privacy and needs of others.

I am looking forward to enjoying everything Melbourne has to offer in late summer and beyond. I enjoy the gym, the arts, politics and international relations, walking, hiking, debating, dining and socialising. I am an active member of LGBTQ+ community and I want to become more involved in the queer social scene here.
