Islay

I’m Islay, I’m 28 and originally from the northern beaches of Sydney. I've spent the last 9 years living in share houses (in Newcastle and Sydney), so I consider myself a well-trained housemate! I'm a creative person who loves dance music/events, charity shopping/ upcycling clothes, pickling and lots of other random bits!

For the last 6 months, I’ve been travelling around the UK working for a glamping company, setting up tents at festivals. I have met so many amazing like minded people doing this and basically want to continue this on in Melb! I’d love to move into a house where I can make some friends and meet people, whilst also respecting each other’s space!

I am in the process of applying for a job (probably hospo or disability support), but also have savings ready for the move/bond. I am happy to pay months upfront if that helps for security or whatnot! I’m also really wanting to try push my creativity to something more in Melb!

I’m still in the UK at the moment, but I’m keen to line something up before I get back and would love to FaceTime to get to know you and the house! (Sorry I know FaceTime kinda less authentic way to meet 😞 )
