Hi, I’m Annika 👋

I’m a 22 year old international student from Germany, and I’ve just moved to Brisbane to conduct research in Biomedical Engineering for my Master’s thesis at QUT.

I’m looking for a more permanent place to stay, ideally close to the Kelvin Grove campus (currently staying in an Airbnb while I get settled).

In my free time, I love baking and cooking. I also enjoy being outdoors a lot, whether it's hiking, running or just exploring nature.
Although weekdays are usually busy with lab work, I’d be happy to share dinners, hang out over a beer, or explore the city together.

I like to keep my space tidy and always clean up after myself. I don't smoke and of course I don't have any pets :)

I’d describe myself as a considerate and friendly flatmate. I can be a little quiet at first, but I enjoy connecting with people once I feel at home. Since I’m new to Brisbane, I’m always open for recommendations of places to see and things to try.
