Hey I'm Tyne! I really enjoy music and gigs, and a nice and relaxed Sunday afternoon. I'm a vegetarian and have been for just over a year and with this, I have learnt how to make some pretty tasty meals. I'm studying a diploma entertainment business management which I will finish in December. I have two jobs, one at McDonald's as a crew trainer (part time) and one at a small Italian restaurant as a waitress (casual). I have my own car and am currently on the first year of my green P's. I make sure to clean up after myself, do my fair share of housework and I'm easy to talk to and get along with.
I'm graduating this year from UQ with an education degree. I found a full-time teaching job in North Brisbane, so I need to relocate myself to North Brisbane or somewhere closer to the North side. I have found some amazing apartments in those areas but need someone to team up with to get the place. I'm clean, friendly, open-minded and very respectful to others.
Hi:) I'm Regina and I'm in my 1st year studying natural health science at Endeavour college so I'm into health and nutrition and do my best to live a healthy lifestyle. I currently live in Mount Gravatt so looking for a place more close to the city. I'm planning to move sometime between mid-December or early January. I spend my time going to the gym, occasionally hiking and yoga, shopping, or reading. I'd prefer to have my own bathroom and off street parking but it will depend on what's available. Message me if you think we'd match or would like to know more. I'm also open for team-ups:) Regina
im very tidy and clean person. Like to talk with people. Sometimes prefer to stay quite. Focus on my own things, not a big fan of show and drinks. Like to cook and travel.
Hiya! Looking for a room in a share flat with likeminded young people! I work full-time as a dental assistant around Northside but in my spare time I love going to the markets and adventuring out of Brisbane on road trips. I’m fairly tidy and quiet, mostly just looking for a new place to call home and to make new pals!!
Best mates of 10+ years Emily and Brooke looking for an extra person or two to find a house with! We both study teaching and work full time with jobs we have had for many years. Both live a healthy, happy and fun lifestyle. Pretty busy throughout the working week but both enjoy relaxing with the occasional drink or two on the weekend. Pretty social and outgoing people but stick to a pretty good routine with a work/life balance. Looking for someone who is clean and easy going and would be interested in finding a house on the Northside/ Central Brisbane. We would ideally like somewhere with air conditioning as summer gets the best of both of us haha :)
Hey hey, I'm looking for a cool place with awesome peeps. Moving from the GC for a 12 month transfer within my work. Move in date is flexible, ready now and hoping within to move in the next week or three. Unfurnished room is preferred. I am very open minded and down to earth, love a good and sometimes a deep chat if the couple of wines takes me there. I'm respectful, treat others how I'd like to be treated. I love trying and learning new things, embarking spontaneous day adventures (hikes, bike rides, surfing, skating, weekend getaways with ol vano). Bit of a plant lady, not going to tone that down. some may say I'm a bit of a hippie, but I just try to live consciously, making the small changes to practices around the home and on the go. I love dogs, so pretty relaxed about pets. Message me if you have any questions or think I would be a pretty cool addition. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I'm studying acting full time at QUT and would love to find a place with people around my age! I’m looking around the Kelvin Grove area but I may be persuaded to live further out if air con is a part of the deal. Ideal housemates are nice, enjoy hanging out every now and then and keep communal areas nice n clean :))
!Looking for Aug-Nov 2019! I am just a girl from Germany that loves adventures and wants to make some great memories. Currently I still go to school, but since I’m graduating next year I wanna take one year off and spend parts of it in Brisbane to travel and work there. I am a really tidy and clean person and usually get along with pretty much anyone. I love doing sport and spending time out. Furthermore I love to travel and experience new things. I love to meet new people and hope to find somebody out there I can stay with.
My name is Chris. I’m clean and house-trained. I’m vegan, but am totally respectful of others food preferences. I'm not racist, sexist or homophobic. I’m a virgo, if that’s important. I enjoy meeting new people and good chats over coffee, tea, beer, wine, water (or nothing at all!), though I guess I’m mostly a fairly quiet soul. My first passion is music - going to gigs, listening to it and occasionally making it - I’m particularly into indie, dreampop, rock, post-punk, and electronic music plus the odd guilty-pleasure… I’m always on the lookout for new music to fall in love with. I am an atheist. I love bike riding, and walking I respect the environment, love being in nature and do my best to lessen my impact on the planet. I have an interest in politics and the way the world is run. I love photography - I’m always taking photos of random things. Occasionally the photos aren’t bad. I enjoy reading - some fave authors: Will Self, William Gibson, Kurt Vonnegut, Anna Funder... I do love a good film too (but really, doesn’t pretty much everyone?) My favourite film is "Withnail And I”. I like to think that I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh (I really get off on smart British comedy especially), joke and smile, but am fascinated by the darker aspects of life. I have been working for the last 12 years as a public servant, which sometimes feels longer. I have travelled overseas a fair bit in the last 15 years or so, from living in London, Berlin and Canada, to several holidays in Europe and a trip to India. I love animals - cats in particular I really enjoy playing boardgames, and quite like the occasional computer game too. So obviously I just love hanging out at Netherworld. Love trivia nights too I’m not particularly into sport, but I do enjoy cricket, don’t mind a bit of soccer, and enjoy the odd game of squash with one of my besties too, though we're still a bit hazy on all the rules.... There's probably something really obvious about me that I've left out...
I am a pretty chill, easy going person. Clean and respectful of personal space. I enjoy a few beverages and am always up for anything social. I enjoy a good adventure, whether it be to the beach, movies, hiking or anything really. I am the proud grower of a number of plants, so I’m looking for a place with some outdoor space. I am currently in my final semester of paramedics and nursing so will be fairly busy on placements. Keen to meet some like minded people to live with for the next 6 months!
Hey everyone, my name is Matt :) I work full time at the RBWH so I'm looking for somewhere close. I have lived with many housemates in the past so I understand the importance of being clean, considerate and respectful towards others. I am slightly introverted so I do spend a lot of time in my room but I do enjoy being social as well. Outside of work I enjoy exercising and spending time with friends. I prefer to live with other LGBT people or females. Please no smokers or loud partiers .
Hey there 😊 I’m a single full time working professional. I work 40+hrs/w and I also spend a lot of time travelling so I won’t be home much at all. Im extremely clean and very quiet as a housemate. I’m respectful and super easygoing/friendly. Always pay my rent and bills on time. I have a tiny, quiet housetrained older terrier who comes with references. PLEASE DO NOT MESSAGE ME IF U DO NOT HAVE A GRASSED YARD!!!!! I work very long hours and I am not the type to leave him cooped up inside. Plz note - I require a real backyard with grass, not a concrete balcony, not a wooden deck & not a courtyard with bark/bushes. I’m just looking for a tidy home with kind people. I’m addicted to ubereats so I don’t spend much time in the kitchen at all 😂 I live the gym life, not the party life. I don’t mind to park my car on the street but I do require my own bathroom or one shared with only one other person. Air conditioning in my bedroom is also a must. Cheers 😄
I'm very tidy, very clean, and I love to have a relaxed chat over a cup of tea. I spend most of my time studying but I'm also a keen gardener, I love op-shopping and sewing and I love reading and listening to podcasts. I'm respectful of others' need for a safe, relaxed, comfortable place to call home and I expect the same of others.
I'm Looking for new a place, at this stage for 6 months. I'm really trying to find a place that is leafy, clean, quiet, private and secure. I have my own furniture and I would prefer no pets. Looking for a chill place to come home to after work and a happy base to launch from. About me, I'm working full time in the sciences and in my free time I like to run around on the weekends at local markets, nurseries or the beach if I feel like the drive or sometime just chill and watch a movie and catch up on siesta time. Love cooking, reading on occasions going to a music gig or art exhibitions. loads of other interests. I have my own furniture bedroom, kitchen things, dining room table and lots of books so would need some room to store some things too. Also need somewhere to park my car. M- (0418215547)
I've been studying geology part time at QUT for a year and a half but next semester I'll be studying full time. I currently work as a house painter full time with the family business (part time when uni is on). I'm an easy going guy and very mindful of my housemates. I don't drink too often but I like to go out every once in a while or have some friends over for drinks. I enjoy listening to music, playing xbox, guitar and fishing. Looking for something a bit more permanent so I can finish my studies and not have to worry about moving house again. Also very flexible with moving dates. Any date from now on pretty much.
Hello, I have recently moved back to Australia after living overseas for the past few years. I am a Project Engineer who works full time in the construction industry. I work quite a but and also maintain an active lifestyle outside of work. I am pretty easy going. If you think I would be a good suit for a room, please let me know.
Hey! I'm Abbey, and I'm a soon to be fourth-year nursing/paramedic student. I have 26 weeks of placement to complete within the next year and I also work as a disability carer so I am a busy gal 99% of the time. However, I love the occasional chat and don't mind unwinding over a drink after a long week. I come as a package deal with my beautiful bulldog Thelma. She had a rough start at life and is a very human orientated dog, so, unfortunately, we won't suit a house with another pet. I am flexible with move-in dates, length of stay and location (I'm happy with anywhere in Brisbane ). I'm tidy and respectful etc etc. Would love to hear from you soon!
Hello there, my name is Myra. I am currently studying Bachelor of Business at JCU and working part time. I am flexible, sociable, and most importantly a very tidy person to share the house with. I am pretty much outside all the time so, I am looking for a nice place to relax properly after a long tiring day. I am not into partying. I would prefer somewhere clean and quiet. The ideal move in date would be around 14th of December. Looking forward to see you soon.
Myself and current roommate are looking for someone (female age 20- 30) who might be interested in teaming up with a new lease in January. We are thinking modern townhouse/apartment on the Northside, no further than 15mins from the city. We both work full-time but have varying schedules/shiftwork, so great for if you like time home alone or prefer a quieter house. Really looking for someone relaxed and respectful, who enjoys catching up of an evening or over a bottle of wine/cheese.
Heya! I'm Georgia, just turned 23, looking to find a lovely share house - I am a full time student at QUT studying Public Relations and have a regular income. I love cooking and making conversation, I'm easy to get along with and ready to move into somewhere asap. In my spare time I love working out, going travelling and catching up with friends, please don't hesitate to message me if you think I would fit into your living situation :)
I like to think that I am a pretty chilled person and very easy to live with! I am incredibly friendly, have a great sense of humor and easy going personality. I Love to cook and considered myself somewhat of a Masterchef wannabe so I’m always happy to cook for others. I clean up after myself and am happy to share in household chores. I study nursing fulltime and work in a dementia unit which can be quiet intense at times but I do find it very rewarding - I have been there for 3 years now so I think that really says something. I am currently on medical leave after emergency surgery so taking things easy. I enjoy having a friendly interaction with those i live with and it is important to me that potential housemates would want the same. MOVING TIME FRAME My current living arrangement ends the week before Christmas however I am flexible if needing to move sooner / later. - My household items are currently in storage and I can stay with friends for a week or two if there is an overlap. LEASE LENGTH Ideally I would like to secure a long term lease as I HATE moving :) but I am flexible HOUSE CONTENTS I am currently paying to keep my household contents in a storage unit so it would be great to find a place where i could bring my furniture or with some space to store - however I am flexible [Bedroom furniture, 6 month old medium sized L shape couch, fridge & washing machine] MOST IMPORTANTLY I am a dachshund mama so unfortunately if you are not a dog person or you are unable to accept pets than I’m definitely not the right person. My two little critters are exceptionally well adjusted to indoor life and are definitely house trained as we have lived in both apartments with balconies and no outdoor access (they have been taught to use an artificial grass toilet and puppy pads for any inside emergencies) For the last couple of months we have been staying in an unsuitable residence (stairs with no gate, unsecured outdoor fence etc) so they have been restricted to my bedroom other than when I take them out for toileting and playtime so it is really important to me that my next home gives them some more space. LD is 12yrs and has had two major spinal operations so he loves to spend his days sunbaking and sleeping although his 7year old little sister Asher makes him play every now and then. Anytime that i need to be away from home for a prolonged period - i arrange for them to go on a sleepover so housemates would never need to worry about having to care for them.
Hey! We're a couple from Townsville that have decided to move to Brisbane in January for the rest of our Uni studies. Theo studies electrical engineering and I study information technology. We are half way through our studies so we usually keep to ourselves as we like to keep on top of it all. Most days we will be at uni studying. Though on holidays we love getting out and about and hanging out with groups too. We both go to gym and like to keep fit and eat healthy. We are neat and quiet housemates that also enjoy having a chat and hanging out on weekends but will keep to ourselves if that's what you prefer. Needs to be pet friendly as we have an outdoor cat :)
