28 years old, quiet, but friendly and would get friendlier over time. Clean and organised. Have no problems with socializing as well as minding my own. Doesn't smoke. I am working in the city. I am ready to compromise between distance and cost i.e. I am ready to live a bit further for a cheaper price or pay more to live closer to the city. I am a graduate from UQ and now I am a permanent resident recently and so, I am looking for a long term accommodation - 12 months or more. Also, I prefer a room without fixed carpets. I would be happy to answer any more questions you migh have. Siva
Hello! Looking for a nice place, ideally with lots of light to call my humble abode. In my last semester at QUT, studying a Bachelor of Media and Communications/Bachelor of Public Health. Easy going, social person, though respect the need for peace and quiet. Have been in share houses before, am always neat, tidy and clean. Like music, having a boogie, cooking, yoga and pottery. Flexible on move-in date :)
Hey! I'm Ally, a 29 year old female looking for a friendly share house to call home. I have recently returned from three years living and working in London whilst traveling the world. I'm originally Victorian however moved to Brisbane for 8 years before my overseas adventure to complete a Dietetics degree and a Secondary Teaching post grad at QUT. I now work as a Secondary Science Teacher and have secured a position in KG for 2020. So, once again I am on the hunt for a new abode to relocate my now very heavy suitcase(s) of clothes to. Ideally I am looking for a share house with like minded people who bring a relaxed yet respectful vibe to the house. The days of 4-5 night out Uni benders are sadly behind me, however I do enjoy going out for some drinks from time to time. I love a good chat over a drink and I enjoy coming home to housemates at the end of a long day. My hobbies include running, gym, hiking, markets, going to the beach, road trips, traveling and heading out for a beverage and dance. I am social but also very happy to have my own downtime. I am clean and like to keep the house in a tidy state. I do love animals but I can't do animal hair so sadly I won't be able to live with any indoor animals :( I think that's about it from me. Please flick me a message on here if you have any queries or think I'd be suitable for your home! My job starts in January so although I can't move in tooooo far out from that (December would be an ideal month), for the right room and people I am able to work around move in dates. Thanks, Ally :)
Hi I'm Georgia I'm 19 years old and moving back to Brisbane after studying in Canberra for a year and a half. I'm a pretty chatty and social person looking for like minded people. However I am pretty clean and tidy and take care of my living spaces very well. Looking for flatmates who would watch soppy romance movies on the couch with me. Also looking for people who know where to find a good cafe for brunch!
Hello there. Soooo i'll be moving out of home for the first time and I am looking for a place that I can just be simply comfortable in. I am very very excited as old as I am haha ...I am very very very clean/neat person and so it will be nice to live with a like minded housemate. I do not drink/smoke or own any pets. I spend most of my time studying, working, at church, in a recording studio, out performing at concerts, out with friends/family etc. I love getting to know people at the same time I enjoy my space. If you think I am what you are looking for please feel free to contact me. I'm happy to answer any questions that you may have :)
Recent graduate, working full-time. Looking for a place that I can easily ride/walk to work (reduce that carbon footprint amirite?). Work undoubtedly keeps me busy but I do enjoy putting time aside for some fun activities, whatever they might be. Clean, friendly, non-smoker. Need to know more? Ask away.
Hi everybody! I’m Alex and I’m looking for a long term rental in a house not on a main road. My goal is to move in at the start of January (01/2020) but happy to be flexible. I work part time at a gym and full time as a student completing a masters of clinical exercise physiology. I am ideally looking for a property with a back yard and is dog friendly as I have a loving staffie called Ellie. Would love to talk more, please send me a message!
Hi All, ** Looking to rent in an all-female place (from late Jan 2020) with flatmates in their 30’s to 40’s ** My ideal place: - The closer to Herston the better - Budget: $200 p/wk incl bills and walking distance to work. If I'd need to bus/train to work, budget would be $170 p/wk incl bills - Would consider paying more for onsite pool/gym access - No children - Quiet street/road - Quiet neighbours - Ideally non-smoking (or have flatmates who naturally close an external door to stop smoke coming inside, clean and tidy with cigarettes/ash) - Clean, tidy, uncluttered - Zero drug use - Cruisy and laid-back Me: - Move-in date flexible (love my current place, just too far from work) - Ideally 12 months or more in the right place - Permanent Mon-Fri office job, 8-9am starts with 4-5pm finishes - Clean, tidy, responsible, trustworthy - Mindful of hot water/electricity use - Quiet (except for my laugh) - Considerate of others’ space and privacy - Often up early and off to bed early - Social drinker, but not much at the moment - Non-smoker - Zero drug use - Vegetarian, reducing dairy over time. Meat-eaters don’t upset me :) - Starting early morning yoga and lap swimming soon - I’m an introvert and enjoy a balance of chatting with my flat mate/s and doing my own thing - Tend to go out to catch-up with friends, more often than have them over - Bit of a dag, can be a good source of amusement I enjoy catching up with friends, family, doing yoga, walking trails, going out for dinners, events, checking out GOMA, hitting coffee shops, markets, finding out about the little festivals Brisbane has to offer but also enjoy solo downtime to recharge.
I am an international student at QUT, studying Construction Management. I am a clean and organized person, love to meet and get along with people. Would love to meet with the housemates whenever possible, go out with them for dinner/lunch or just have some drinks while watching a movie or a tv show that we all have started watching together. But also know how to keep things to myself and not disturbing others and respecting their privacy. I have a part-time job as a cadet so would be busy with my stuff, but would love to hang out and have a chat every now and then whenever it could be possible. Also, I am interested in starting a new sharehouse together and ready to meet new and fun people in the way for creating a share house.
