JK and Seney

Hi my name is JK Cha, and i recently applied for this share house. I'm well aware of how competitive the share house market is, so i wanted to introduce myself in a more personal way, allowing you to get to know the people you're considering for this space. i'm urgently in need of a place to live, so i want to make sure i introduce myself property

I'm a 28-year-old guy on a working holiday. I studied Youth Education and Counseling at university, and afterward worked as a PM in a blockchain tech company, managing projects, community operations, and creative campaigns.

Alongside that, I’ve been a photographer for years — mainly space/architecture photography, events, and portraits. I plan to continue taking photography jobs in Brisbane as a side gig. I also enjoy hands-on work: I learned woodworking as a hobby and built several pieces of furniture, and even helped my dad build a timber house from scratch. In Australia, I’m hoping to work as a carpenter, learn properly on-site, and eventually contribute to building houses here.

Music is another big part of my life. I’ve played jazz piano for many years and can handle multiple band instruments thanks to band activities back home. My free time usually goes to running, futsal, cooking, and spending time with animals.

I’m moving with my partner Seney, who will stay for about three months on a visitor visa before returning to Korea. She studied Media & Arts, works as a drama scriptwriter with a Korean production studio, and also writes/coaches content for a YouTube creator MCN startup. She loves music, cooking, running, and animals, and previously lived in Adelaide as an exchange student.

We’re both clean, respectful, and easygoing people who enjoy quiet creative time as well as good conversations. We don’t smoke, drink occasionally, and always keep shared spaces tidy. We’re hoping to find a warm home with friendly housemates where we can settle into Brisbane life.
