Hi! I’m an American from Chicago who’s decided to make Tassie home after several years of travelling. I’m currently working full-time as a bar manager down on the harbour. Even though I spend my workdays being social, I don’t usually go out much on my nights off. In my free time you’ll usually find me hiking, painting, reading, journaling in a café, bouldering, or making pottery. I’m more of a night owl due to my schedule, but I’m always quiet and respectful of anyone working normal hours.
I’m tidy, considerate, and respectful of shared spaces, and I don’t typically have people over — I really value a calm, comfortable home to unwind in after work. I’m hoping to find a long-term place that genuinely feels like home, ideally with a bit of outdoor space for my morning coffee. I’d love to live with people I can share the occasional chat or movie night with, but I also enjoy my downtime and happily keep to myself.
I don’t have a car, so somewhere walkable to the wharf and CBD would be ideal. I’m looking for a decent-sized room with good natural light in a warm, cozy house. I’m open to living with dogs, but I’m allergic to cats. As a bonus, I come with some wonky handmade ceramics, a collection of good music, and your very own in-house bartender (though I rarely drink at home and usually stick to a sherry or a nice wine).
