Callum

My name’s Callum, I’m 25 and currently living in Melbourne. I’m moving to Hobart soon to start a graduate mechanical engineering role with Hydro Tasmania.

A little about me: I’m friendly and social (always up for a chat about space, science or a good book), but also value my own space. I’m neat, tidy, and respectful around the house, and I always pull my weight with cleaning. I’m into track cycling, so I’m often at the gym or out riding. With my job, I’ll be working onsite most days, and there may be times where I’m away at hydropower stations for a few days at a time (so I’m generally out of the house quite a bit). I’ll also be travelling back to Melbourne roughly once a month to visit family and my partner. Ideally I’d love to set up a small indoor trainer somewhere, but I’m flexible and happy to chat about what works for the house. I’m also excited to explore Tassie’s hikes, camping spots, and 4WD tracks.

My partner, who is finishing her degree, may visit about once a month as well — hopefully that’s okay, but I’m happy to discuss if needed.
