Hello, I’m Dieter from Germany. I will be entering my well-earned retirement in January 2027.

I used to visit Australia often; I spent the entire year of 1994 in Sydney. For over 20 years, I have been working for the Hamburg school authority.
I work as a network administrator at a large school, where I also train young people in various areas of IT.

My interests include traveling, IT, history, and sports.
I am also interested in politics. I really enjoy hiking. Most of all, I am looking forward to spending time at the beach (Bondi, Bronte, and Manly).

I am not demanding; a small room to myself is perfectly adequate.

My stay in 2027 will last four to five months (January to May).
I will be returning to Australia in 2028.
