Hello! My name is Lukas, I’m 31 years old and recently moved to Melbourne from Auckland after backpacking for just over 6 months.

I’ve recently secured a job as a hedgetrimmer/gardener that is based around Glen Iris and the surrounding suburbs. The yard is specifically around Glen Iris, so I’m keen to find a room that isn’t a huge commute away. I have a work ute and a personal car so would need to have at least on street parking. Ideally want long term but open to short term til I can find something more permanent.

I’m looking for a flat with a relaxed vibe, I enjoy the occasional night out but not a massive drinker personally. Like a clean communal area and happy to pitch in to cleaning rosters etc. Happy to lend my services to the gardens too, my work ute has a full set of tools I can use.

Aside from gardening I have an academic background in studying public policy specialising in fisheries management, I’m interested in politics, philosophy and history academically as well.

I love electronic music and am looking to get amongst the culture in Melbourne, which I have heard through the grapevine is top class. I went to Sonder Festival recently and a few gigs in town which have been awesome.

My other interests include backpacking, comedy, movies/tv, gaming, playing pool, gymming, music.
