My name is Lukas, I’m 31 years old and looking to move to Melbourne from Auckland after backpacking for just over 6 months (I’m currently in Indonesia).

I’ve recently secured a job as a hedgetrimmer/gardener that will be based around the Mornington Peninsula and start around the 10th of January. The yard is specifically around Frankston, so I’m keen to find a room that isn’t a huge commute away, though I’ll have a car so doesn’t need to be in the immediate area. Ideally want long term but open to short term til I can find something more permanent.

I’m looking for a flat with a relaxed vibe, I enjoy the occasional night out but not a massive drinker personally. Like a clean communal area and happy to pitch in to cleaning rosters etc. I would preferably want a parking spot too for a potential work vehicle but this is not essential. Happy to lend my services to the gardens too.

Aside from gardening I have an academic background in studying public policy specialising in fisheries management, I’m interested in politics, philosophy & history academically as well.

I love electronic music and am looking to get amongst the culture in Melbourne, which I have heard through the grapevine is top class.

Though I enjoy the outdoors a lot through gardening, I like going to scenic spots and chasing sunsets in my spare time too.

My other interests include backpacking, comedy, movies/tv, gaming, playing pool, gymming, music, having in depth conversations.
