Hi potential roomie!
I'm looking for someone to team up with me and my gentle giant 10-year-old dog, Boston.
I work full time in aviation with rotating rosters for 12hr day/night shifts. That being said I can sleep through anything, so I don't expect the house to be silent when on night shifts. Boston is a free loader and can only contribute cuddles and immaculate vibes.
We have been living just the two of us for the last 3 years and before that bounced between share houses in Canberra and Brisbane.
In my free time I spread my time between family, friends & partner. I love going out for brunch or having the girls over for a movie/boardgame night here and there. I also love gaming.
Boston is indoor/outdoor but when people are home he prefers to be indoors. He is well trained, quiet and is easily taught "no go zones" in the house (e.g. kitchen & your bedroom). He often spends a week at my parents when I work day-shifts so he won't always be home. I take full responsibility of him and do not expect a housemate to contribute to his care (except reminding him how handsome he is) but I do want someone who loves dogs and will love his presence in the home.
As for a you, I'm hoping to find someone who is friendly, easy going and open to becoming friends. Love a yap in the kitchen about your work drama over a glass of wine or binging trash TV together but also totally respect personal time and I am pretty good at reading the vibe for that!
Ideally, I'd love to find a 3-4 bedroom place with a bathroom each so we have enough space to spread out, and of course a yard (smaller) for Boston.
I have all my own furniture, enough for a two-bedroom house but happy to discuss if you have your own also.
