Josh and Emily

Hey 👋 I’m Josh, a recent graduate from Brisbane, moving to Melbourne with my partner Emily.

We’re looking to secure a new rental and keen to team up with 1–3 people (or couples) to apply together for a 2–4 bedroom house or apartment, ideally close to the water with easy public transport into the city.

Suburbs: Elwood, St Kilda, Middle Park, Brighton, Sandringham.

A bit about us: I studied Policy and Economics, and I’m starting a public policy/economist role with the Australian Government. Emily studied Law and Bioinformatics and works in the public sector, specifically in the native title legal space.

We’ve both lived in share houses since we were 19, and I ran a large share house in West End, Brisbane, for three years, so we’re very comfortable with shared living and people coming and going.

Outside of work, we enjoy staying active, day trips 🚐🏄‍♂️🏕️, and the occasional pizza, pasta & wine night 🍕🍝🍷. We’re tidy, busy during the week, and easy to live with.

Timing: flying down soon for inspections, aiming to start a lease 24–28 January.
Budget: $250–$400 per person/couple per week.
Lease: long-term housemates on the lease, but open to short-term stays.
