Hi there! I’m Jiawei, a PhD student at the University of Melbourne. I’m on a full university scholarship, so my financial situation is totally stable – you’ll never have to worry about me being late with rent, I always pay on time without fail!

What makes me great to live with?

First, I’m extremely clean and tidy – I keep my personal space spotless and always clean up after myself in shared areas (kitchen, bathroom, living room) right away, no mess left behind. I truly believe a tidy home makes for a nice living vibe for everyone.

Second, I’m outgoing, easy-going and a great communicator. I love having friendly chats with flatmates but also know when to respect personal space. If there’s ever a small issue or something I need to discuss, I’ll bring it up calmly and openly – no passive-aggressiveness, just honest and kind communication.

Third, I’m quiet and mindful of others’ schedules. As a PhD student, I have a focused study routine, and I always keep noise down (no loud music/TV, soft voices) during late nights or early mornings, especially when others are studying or resting. I respect quiet hours and everyone’s need for a peaceful space to live and work.

Also, I’m a total pet lover and pet-friendly. I have experience of caring for both cats and dogs. Back in China, my family has one dog and two cats, so I’m well-versed in their daily care needs. If you ever need to go out, I’m more than happy to look after your pets for free, whether it’s feeding them, checking in on them or taking care of their little needs!

I’m looking for a warm, friendly flat share with girls, and I’ll do my best to keep our shared home a comfortable, harmonious and stress-free place for everyone.
