Jasmine and Archie

Hello!

We are a British couple, Jasmine and Archie, who have been travelling and working around Australia. Excitingly, Archie has been offered a Carpenter sponsorship in Hobart, and we are now looking to settle here long term.

We are looking for our own place with a weekly budget of up to $630 and would require at least one off-street parking space, ideally more. That said, we’re also open to renting a room in a shared house, with a budget of up to $400 per week. We’ve both lived in shared houses before and enjoy meeting new people. Archie has recently started full-time work, and I’m currently applying for roles.

A little bit about us…

Archie has a diverse work background, including roles as a kayak instructor, gardener, mechanic and running outdoor activity camps for children. My background is in optics, having worked for Specsavers in Australia as well as a private optician in the UK. Between us we hold degrees in Marine Conservation, Geography and International Development.

We both lead active, outdoor-focused lifestyles and are happiest when spending time in nature. We love being in and on the ocean - snorkelling, spear fishing, sailing and boating. On weekends, we’re often away on camping and 4WD adventures, so we’re rarely at home.

We are respectful, reliable tenants who take great pride in caring for homes, with strong Trusted Housesitters reviews and landlord references available.

We are currently in Hobart and would be able to move in as soon as possible.
