I’m originally from Brazil but have lived abroad for the past 10 years; 7 years in the U.S (both in the middle of nowhere in Kansas and also in Florida) and the past 3 in Sweden. During this entire time I’ve had flatmates (currently at a co-living space in Stockholm with 11 other people) and have never had any issues. In fact, some of my fondest memories and strongest bonds have been with flatmates; both casually sharing meals and day-to-day life with them
or visiting their home countries (I’ve now attended a wedding in Tunisia and India thanks to these friendships). I love the social aspect of sharing a home, but also respect people’s privacy, boundaries, and cleanliness standards.
While I’m moving to Australia through my job (currently a senior auditor at EY), my main reason for moving is to live in a place more prone to an active lifestyle. I love to do anything that have to do with exercise or outdoors: running, lifting, football, padel, and - although I’m still shit at it - surfing. I also have a big nerd side and love to meditate and to read books.
I’m looking for a place to stay for at least a few months but with potential for long-term. My only preferences are to share a place with 1+ flatmates that are respectful, clean, and good people. I don’t see the need of matching hobbies, although of course similar lifestyles would be a huge plus.
Would love to connect if you think I could be a good fit. Cheers!
