Looking for social student accommodation near UQ St Lucia

Hi! My name is Frederik and I am looking for student accommodation from July 16th to the end of November. I am a 21 years old Danish engineering student studying AI, going a semester on exchange to UQ St Lucia.

I am looking to rent a furnished room reasonably close to UQ, either in a house with other students my age or with a family. I am interested in a place where my housemates are social and enjoy doing things together from time to time, since I like being around other people and am used to it from living in a dorm in Denmark.

I am very curious about Australian culture, so Australian housemates would be a huge plus.

My budget is around $200-350 per week, depending on the room and location.

A bit more about myself:
- I like cooking, sports and investing.
- I am definitely going to join the UQ surf club, perhaps also the rowing club.
- Even though I now study engineering, I went to a business high school, so my interests are pretty wide. On UQ I will be studying courses that are a mix of AI and business.
- I am clean, tidy and polite. I would describe myself as a calm, easy-going and mostly extroverted person.
