I’m originally from Indonesia and will be moving to Brisbane on 29 March on a Work and Holiday Visa (subclass 462). As this will be my first time living in Australia, I’ll initially be focusing on finding work. I plan to actively look for opportunities by applying online and handing out resumes in person, and I’m also open to casual work such as food delivery or other available jobs. Once I secure a full-time position, I will make sure to inform my landlord and flatmates about my work schedule.
At home, I generally prefer a quiet and organized environment. I’m respectful of shared spaces and usually keep things tidy by doing regular household chores like washing dishes daily and sweeping or mopping a few times a week. I enjoy a peaceful home atmosphere, though I’m also open to friendly conversations and getting to know my flatmates as I settle into life in Australia.
In my free time I usually relax by browsing social media or looking for small business or casual work opportunities. I’m fairly easygoing and adaptable, but I do appreciate a respectful and considerate living environment.
I’m open to living with people of different ages and backgrounds, though I would prefer a non-smoking household. Transparency and good communication are also important to me, so I value flatmates who are open about their expectations and living habits.
Overall, I’m someone who is respectful, tidy, and focused on building a stable routine while working in Brisbane.
