Ben

Hey! I’m Ben, 23, from the UK. I’m planning to move to the Gold Coast on a working holiday visa in late March and I’m looking for a place to stay.

I’ve spent the last few years working as a scuba diving instructor around Indonesia, Vietnam and the Maldives — teaching courses, guiding divers and doing some marine conservation work — so I’m pretty ocean obsessed and love being outdoors.

Because I’ve lived and worked all over, I’m very used to shared houses and staff accommodation, so I’m clean, respectful and easy to live with. I’m pretty active — gym, beach, swimming, that sort of thing — but also happy with a chilled night in. I tend to go to bed fairly early and get up early as well, so I’m definitely not a late-night party type.

I’m pretty laid-back and easygoing. I do smoke a bit of weed occasionally, but I’m always respectful about it and mindful of house rules. Just looking for a relaxed place with good people 😊
