Hi, I’m George!

I’m currently working in a senior role in financial services on a long term contract. My role is based in Sydney CBD, with a mix of office and work from home days, so I’m looking for somewhere comfortable, relaxed and well suited to a professional lifestyle.

Initially looking for a place between now and end of November with the possibility to stay on longer. Preferably a fully furnished place (including the bedroom).

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, cooking, exploring new restaurants and getting outdoors whenever I can. I appreciate a good whisky or a nice bottle of wine, but these days I’m much more about a relaxed dinner or catching up with friends than late nights or a party lifestyle.

My partner is based in Canberra, where she works as a researcher at ANU. I split my time between Sydney and Canberra, and she’ll occasionally visit, although that’s fairly infrequent and we’re usually away for the weekend when she does.

I’d describe myself as reliable, respectful and easy to live with. I’m clean, tidy and considerate of shared spaces, and I value a home that’s friendly and social while still respecting everyone’s privacy and downtime.
