Hey, I’m George!

I’m currently on a long term contract working in financial services, splitting my week between the office (in the CBD) and working from home, with flexibility across both.

Work keeps me fairly busy during the week, but I like to make the most of my downtime. Weekends are usually a mix of hiking, cooking something new, or heading out with mates for a good night. I’ve got a soft spot for whiskey and fine wine, but I’m equally happy with a relaxed night in to recharge.

I also have a partner who is based in Canberra, where she works as a researcher at ANU. Because of that, I split my time between Sydney and Canberra. She does visit occasionally, though it’s quite rare, and when she does, we’re usually off on a weekend trip.

People would describe me as reliable, respectful, and easy to get along with. I’m clean, tidy, and mindful of shared spaces. I enjoy a friendly, social household where we can share a drink or a chat, but I also value personal space and downtime.
