I work in the city, writing software for a living. Occasionally, I write an article that gets published. I have a PhD in philosophy. I did my dissertation the ethics of robotics and AI. I am up for interesting conversations on all sorts of subjects.

I enjoy cooking. Mostly I do Asian stir-fries (Bill's Everyday Asian recipes mostly) or BBQ. In winter, I do soups, roasts and casseroles.

I spend most of my free time reading and writing. I am a quiet person and would not suit a party house. For exercise, I swim three times a week. I was born in Sydney, grew up in England and spent nine years in New Zealand. Recently I spent 3 months in Indonesia.
