Hello!! My name is Maria, I’m going on exchange to Sydney this coming semester (July - November 2026)

I’m originally from Brazil, but have lived in Canada for the past 7 years, where I go to uni and work as a researcher (focus on global health) 🫶

I love to bake, bike, dance, do arts and crafts, go to the beach, and explore whatever city I’m in! I enjoy nightlife on occasion, but I don’t smoke and pretty much only drink when I go out.

In terms of co-living, I’m an organised and clean person. I don’t make noise late at night and think the most important thing is open communication! Back home, I like to host friends over for girls’ night, but I don’t mind pausing that while in Sydney, if that’s my roommate(s)’ preference.

I’d love to be friends with my roommate(s), but am also totally okay with each person doing their own thing :)
