Liz Reinhardt

Hi! I’m Liz (25). I currently work as a Management Consultant and I’m about to start a Sociology PhD at ANU in July. Right now I work full-time, mostly from home, but once the PhD starts I’ll drop down to 2–3 work days a week and spend the rest of my time studying on campus.

My PhD is part of a larger research project in the College of Arts and Social Sciences called Experimenting with Estrogen. My research focuses on how social and cultural understandings of estrogen shape hormone-related medical care - specifically how doctors make sense of “brain fog” during peri/menopause.

Outside of work/study, I’m pretty outdoorsy and usually spend weekends going for bush walks, exploring somewhere new, or finding a good lunch spot - even in peak Canberra winter. I also love cooking (especially for other people), so if the house does shared dinners I’d be very into that. I’m clean and considerate though, so no stress about kitchen chaos afterwards.

I’m keen to live somewhere that feels friendly and comfortable where people are up for a chat, but I’m also really respectful of personal space and downtime.
