I'm a 24-year-old relaxed and tidy young professional from Helsinki, Finland. I’m coming to Canberra for an internship so I prefer living somewhere within 30min bus ride from Yarralumla but what matters most is a nice place to live in. My budget is max 250/week and I would love to have a bed in the room but I'll figure it out. I’ve lived flatmate-life for multiple years in Helsinki and Berlin with Australians, Finns, Germans and Italians. I study political science in my master’s and I'm very enthusiastic about it. I’m chill, kind and really funny. I value my privacy but I also love meeting new people and I don't mind grabbing a drink with my housemates every once in a while. If you might have a place for me to stay please get in touch!
Hi there! I am pretty quiet, tidy, and I'm good with tools, house maintenance and spiders. I have plenty of hobbies and I'll stay out of your hair. That said, I am friendly and I love board games and card games. I like to garden and paint, and procrastinate doing my assignments by cleaning. I find steady work in childcare and am studying to be a teacher. If you need someone to give you henna tattoos or proofread your work, I'm your girl. I know three dogs sounds like a lot, but they are basically canine cats and sleep about 18 hours a day. They are exceptionally low maintenance and cuddly, and I clean up after them. Looking for some form of accomodation in Canberra that doesn't mind pugs and has a backyard :)
I’m easy going who enjoys socialising but also enjoys personal time to focus on hobbies and goals. Very hygienic, enjoy cooking, riding my bike, playing sport and other outdoor activities. Studying part time environmental science and working close to full time hours for Redbrick so money is no issue for me when it comes to cost of living out :))
Hi my name is Alex! I am 23 years old, from Sydney, and have lived in Canberra for 2 years. I previously lived in Dublin for three years. I work four days a week as an administrator at ANU, and am doing a full time PhD at the ANU School of Public Policy. My housemate and his girlfriend are moving away in early March so I am looking for somewhere new! I have lived in three share houses in the past and have always had a great time. I love cats and dogs and am a clean and relaxed housemate. Social or quiet housemates would be ideal for me! On weekends I like to trip around NSW (and know all the best places to go :P) or have to study at the National Archives.
Hello I'm Jem! I'm 23 currently trying to make a move away from my hometown and begin a body piercing career. I'm quiet, honest, easy to talk to and very respectful. I also absolutely love meeting new people! I have full time work where I am now and have located many suitable jobs in the Canberra area! I have a friendly calm 6 y.o cat who does his own thing, has never attacked scratched or bitten anyone ever, however he does not get along with other animals. I know how to take care of myself and how to take care of a home, I have lived by myself for a year and out of home since I was 17, I am very clean and tidy and always willing to chip in with anything that needs to be done. I enjoy creative things, I love gardening reading writing and drawing but also love to binge watch stan and Netflix or weird documentaries with a cheeky glass of wine. I like cooking I don't know if I would call myself a good cook but I do make a killer potato bake I promise you that! I will very rarely have a cigarette maybe once a week but never in my life have i smoked inside a house and I never will, I'm on my way to completely stopping. I don't party I just want a nice place to call my own so i can work hard. I have all my own furniture and appliances so unfurnished is fine or I'm happy to bring along anything that might be needed. Due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances I am now unable to move from my hometown until mid-late Feb.
Hi, my name is Kiarie (I'm the taller one in the photo). I'm a former student at the ANU, who loves going on runs. hiking and skateboarding. I've lived in multiple social share houses and I'm clean and respectful of shared spaces. Looking to meet and live with new people who don't mind sharing a dinner or drinks every once in a while.
I'm sociable, friendly, and love to get to know new people. I'm tidy, polite and respectful of others. I've lived in sharehouses for 3 years, and have lived and travelled all over the world so I can get on with anybody!
Heya I'm Bronte. I'm a pretty relaxed type of person who is open minded and fun to be around. I enjoy cooking (so there will always be tasty treats for my housemates), good wine and exploring activities in the city. Up for socialising and making new friends, as I will be new to the Canberra (coming from Melbourne). I'm a neat and organised type of person, and have lived in share houses previously. Added bonuses + I have a collection of homewares and white goods if needed + I'm familiar with the rental process, happy to set up internet/bills etc and liase with real estate agents
Hi! My name is Sofia, and I am a 25 year old Masters student at the ANU. I study full time and work part time, but am looking to recommence full time work at the start of next year. As a housemate, I am clean and very friendly. Some of my past housemates are among my closest friends. I am up for anything from sharing a meal, to a night out, to a cheeky midnight Kmart run with my housemates (study forbidding). I currently live in Dickson with some legends, but unfortunately our house is being renovated, so we have to move out. I am looking to rent close to the ANU, and need a room with space for a desk as well as a bed. I like my home to be as relatively stress-free as possible, so I am looking for housemates who are also neat (but not necessarily meticulously so) and are willing to share the burden of house maintenance. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible. Let me know if you think I could be a good fit for your home!
Hey everyone! I'm coming down for 6 months to study IT at UC and work full-time. I have experience living in shared accommodation for the past two years with a large number of other housemates. I am excellent at staying tidy and would prefer housemates who keep areas clean. I would like to move in ASAP I'm a fun, laid back dude who'd be keen on getting to know new people. On my off time, I enjoy working out, surfing, bouldering, gaming, and all round relaxing. Whilst I enjoy socialising, I am an avid believer of everybody needing their own space and downtime. I'd like fellow flatmates who are clean, sociable, and most importantly, good people. Open to moving into existing sharehouses or teaming up and setting up a new home. Unfortunately I'm allergic to all pets known to man except reptiles and fish apparently.

I will be moving to Canberra from Sydney to begin an Australian Public Service graduate job in February. I know to clean up after myself and am easygoing. Feel free to message me for a chat!

Hi, my name's Tamim and I'm a 22 year old guy from Sydney moving to Canberra for full time work. Firstly I'd like to think of myself as a clean and organised person who likes to live a healthy lifestyle. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) near the CBD for around 150-200 per week. In my spare time I like to talk to people over a couple of drinks and watch/play sports especially cricket. I'm looking for people who are also working, are clean, easygoing and would be open to grabbing a drink or some food every now and then :)
Hi, I'm a 21 year old female studying first year engineering at ANU. I'm moving to Canberra from Far North Queensland. I'm an easygoing, friendly and tidy person. I love reading, the outdoors, animals, and nice cups of tea. I'm looking for a private room to rent in North Canberra for under $300 a week (a stretch I know), I'm flexible on sharing bathrooms and require parking (on-street is fine). I would ideally like to be within riding distance of ANU. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a recent graduate from ANU in Law and Commerce. I work full-time as an Assistant Brewer for Capital Brewing Co. In my free time I like to play soccer as well as catch up with friends over a coffee or beer! I'm looking for a place with friendly people who like hanging out together. Given my full-time work, I'd prefer a household that isn't too noisy late at night :)
(Moving date is flexible) Hi! I'm Liska, I'm a tidy Honours student studying Chinese translation at ANU. I'm looking for a relaxed, friendly household in the inner north. I'm language and history-obsessed, love all pets, consume music voraciously, sew patches, play video games and make really good margaritas. Starting to get into gardening. I also write fiction and build fantasy worlds for fun and pay. Would be open to cooking together! (although I'm vegetarian) Happy to work within organised cleaning/chore rosters etc I head up to Newcastle sometimes to visit my family and girlfriend. She also likes to visit me too now and then so I'm looking for somewhere where she'd be welcome to stay in my room. Let me know if your place sounds like a match!
I’m an agricultural graduate from the university of Adelaide. I’m moving to Canberra from SA to start my new position as a full time horticulturalist in the middle of February. I’m an easygoing, clean and fitness person, I like to get everything well organised. Also I’ve been sharing accommodations with people from different cultural backgrounds for many years. I’m looking for a sharing accommodation to make some local friends to hangout with and help me to discover Canberra :)
Hello! I'm Bernice. I am relocating to Canberra from Melbourne and am looking for a temporary home for myself and my little dog Toby, while we look for something more permanent. I am a quiet person, friendly and sensible. I am very reliable and respectful of other's space and time. I am tidy and will always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and baking (and sharing my creations), going to the gym, camping, hiking and spending quality time with friends and family. Toby is an elderly Jack Russell who loves to sleep, eat and go for walks. He is a very friendly dog, well behaved, house-trained, loves people, getting belly scratches and giving lots of kisses in return. He has always been an outdoor dog and a place with a yard or courtyard would be preferable. If you have a pet-friendly place that Toby and I could stay for a little while, let us know :) We are relatively flexible with location.
I am a deferred language student from the ANU working full time to save money. I bake sourdough bread, play guitar, and try my best to be environmentally friendly! I am very friendly and respectful; would love to get to know and hang out with my housemates but also value time and space to myself.
