Hi, I’m Heather, 25 years old from Korea. I’m currently in Australia on a working holiday visa. In Korea, I studied Child and Family Studies and worked at an advertising agency and an exhibition company. I came to Australia to improve my English and experience new cultures and meet new people.
I have 6 years of dormitory experience and about 5 years of living alone, so I’m very used to shared living and I’m respectful of shared spaces. I’m easy to live with and get along well with housemates.
⸻
1. Lifestyle & habits
🔹I’m generally quite tidy and I value keeping things clean and organised.
🔹 I always clean up after using shared spaces like the kitchen and bathroom.
🔹 I usually cook simple meals at home.
🔹 I may have morning alarms as I’ll be working/going out in the mornings.
⸻
2. Personality & lifestyle
🔹I prefer a friendly and social home where people can chat and sometimes cook together, rather than a very quiet or isolated environment.
🔹 However, I’m not looking for a heavy party house.
🔹 I love the ocean and swimming, so I’d be happy to go together if possible!
🔹I’m a bit scared of bugs, so a place with a lot of insects might be difficult for me.
⸻
3. What I’m looking for
🔹Budget: around $280 per week (including bills).
🔹Minimum stay: around 3 months (flexible).
🔹 Prefer a private room, but I’m also open to a twin share room.
🔹Looking for an international share house with 4–8 people.
🔹 A place with free kitchen access and basic furniture (bed, wardrobe, washing machine, dryer, etc.).
🔹Within 15-20 minutes walk to a train station and supermarket would be ideal.
🔹I’m ready to move in anytime.
