LOOKING FOR A TEAM UP ONLY. I'm a 45-year-old woman who works full time and enjoys gardening, keeping up with current affairs, exploring music and art, and attending events. My house is always clean, organized, and I like a happy vibe that reflects my love for life's simple pleasures. I am wanting to meet 1 or 2 other likeminded people to team up with and contribute equally to a long term share house. I have been living on my own in the same place for 5 years here in Newcastle, paying $500 per week. My rent is about to be raised substantially and I want to explore a way with other/s to tackle this obscene rental situation that is currently upon us here in Newcastle. I figure best for somewhere large so there are spaces to retreat to when needed but also come together in the shared areas of the house. A couple of bathrooms would be ideal. I am flexible with areas and open to all suggestions but I do work in Adamstown so wouldnt be looking at more that 10kms from the more metro areas. I am ok to continue to pay up to $500 per week (a bit less preferred) which I think is realistic for a nice, large space to share thats not a dump. Im house proud but have also spent many years house sharing in Sydney. Im seeking a committed other or 2 to enter into a great shared space and all the responsibilities that go along with that. My lease expires in August so Im putting my feelers out there ahead of time. I can be pretty flexible for the right arrangement. I no longer have pets but I dont mind if you do.
