Hi! I'm Sumin, a Computer Science student at KAIST in South Korea, coming to Sydney on exchange at the University of Sydney. I arrive on 26 July and leave on 15 February, so I'm looking for a room for that period.
I've been sharing a flat with two housemates back in Korea since February 2025, so I'm very comfortable with — and genuinely good at — living by shared house rules. I've never once been late with rent. I clean up after myself in shared spaces and respect everyone's space and quiet time.
I'm not really one for loud parties at home — for me, a home should be a place where you can fully relax and recharge. That said, if my housemates are up for something, I'm always happy to join in and have a good time together.
I love summer and staying active. Back home I'm part of a swimming club that trains at 6am every single day — high-intensity sessions where no one can be late. I've kept a perfect record of no tardiness and no absences for two years running, so I take commitments seriously.
When I'm at home, I like to keep things calm: I knit, work on my coding assignments, and do my own research. I'm friendly and easy to get along with, but I also really value a peaceful, respectful home.
I'd love to hear more about the place and your household. Happy to answer any questions!
