Hey, I’m Joel! I moved up from Canberra to Brisbane earlier this year for a job in real estate, where I’ve been working for the past five years.

I’m currently looking for somewhere new as we’re having to leave our current rental due to a major water issue, and my housemate is heading back to Canberra, so it’s time for a fresh start. I’m pretty flexible on the move date and ideally looking to be a bit closer to work in Fortitude Valley.

I’m gay, pretty easy-going, tidy and respectful. I’m very much a minimalist and like keeping the house clean, organised and uncluttered. I’ve got a pretty hectic job, so coming home to somewhere that feels like home and being able to properly switch off is really important to me.

I enjoy cooking, catching up with mates over a few beers and the occasional night out, but I’m equally happy with a quiet night watching a movie. I’m always up for a chat and happy to be social, but I also really value everyone having their own space.
