Hi, I’m Joel! At the start of the year I relocated from Canberra to Brisbane for a new opportunity in real estate, where I’ve now worked for around five years. I love what I do and enjoy staying busy, but when I’m home I really appreciate having a space that’s clean, organised and relaxing. Tidiness is a big priority for me, and I like everyone to do their bit to keep the house looking great.
I’m a big foodie and love cooking, whether it’s trying something new or putting together a nice dinner at home. On weekends, you’ll usually find me enjoying a glass of wine, catching up with friends, or heading out for dinner and the occasional big night out. That said, I’m equally happy with a quiet night in watching a movie or just unwinding after a busy week.
One thing that’s non-negotiable—lamps on and candles burning in the evening. It just makes a house feel warm and homely.
I’ve been renting in Clayfield with a school friend, but he will be moving interstate for work at the start of 2027, so I’m now looking for a new place. Ideally, I’d love to be a little closer to work in Fortitude Valley. I’m easy-going, respectful and considerate, and I’m looking for like-minded housemates who enjoy a friendly, relaxed home while also respecting each other’s space and keeping things tidy.
