My name is Mingyo, a mid-20s barista from South Korea on a Working Holiday visa. I’m moving to Melbourne around late September to dive into the local specialty coffee scene and experience this amazing city.

About My Background & Lifestyle:

Experienced & Financially Reliable: I’ve worked as a professional barista in Korea for 6 years, so I'm well-prepared to step straight into Melbourne’s coffee scene upon arrival. Rent and bills will always be paid strictly on time.

Military Service Experience: Having completed my mandatory military service, I’m deeply accustomed to group living, highly disciplined, and naturally keep shared spaces clean and organized.

Easygoing & Respectful: In my free time, I love exploring local roasteries, tasting good coffee, and relaxing at home. I’m always down for a casual chat or sharing a coffee, while strictly respecting everyone's personal space and quiet hours.

What I’m Looking For:

Room type: Private room (Furnished)

Preferred areas: Fitzroy, Collingwood, Carlton, CBD, Brunswick

Move-in date: Early October (Arriving on Sept 30th)

Inspection: Available in person from October 1st onwards

Length of stay: 1 year (Long-term)

Budget: $250 - $280 / week (inc. bills)
