Hi :), my name is Bek. I have just moved to Brisbane and looking for a small unit, granny flat, upstairs or downstairs part of someone’s home that I can call home. I am currently renting out a room at a friend’s place until I find my own place.

I am currently employed in the health industry while studying nursing. Being in healthcare has taught me responsibility, reliability, compassion, and respect for others. I value stability and take pride in doing my best in both my professional and personal life.

Outside of work and study, I enjoy travelling and also being at home in a space that feels homey and cozy. I love making a space feel comfortable and cared for. I was gifted a KitchenAid mixer for my 30th birthday this year, and one of the things I’ve been looking for is a functional kitchen with enough bench space to keep it out and enjoy baking and cooking at home.

Since 2018, I have been house-sitting on and off for a number of homeowners who trusted me to care for their homes while they were away. I treated every property with the same care and respect I would my own, and I am fortunate to have homeowners who would happily provide references about how well I maintained their properties. One homeowner even asked me to help decorate their home, which was something I genuinely enjoyed and was honoured to be trusted with.

I understand the responsibility that comes with renting and would treat your property as though it were my own. Having a place to call home would mean so much to me. create a cozy space I can unwind after a long day.

Definitely not after a room in a share house, with doing shift work, studying and being someone who values her space. I am friendly and enjoy being with friends and family but need my alone time to recharge. Messages about asking if I’m interested in a house-share setup up will most likely be politely declined. I do not have any pets, just wanted a side profile pic.
