- Background:
I am an international student at UTAS. I have been living with a host family since July 2026 while settling into life in Australia. Thanks to their support, I am now comfortable with daily life in Hobart. So, I am looking for a long-term home. I am planning to stay in Hobart until around the end of 2028 at least while completing my Master's degree at UTAS.
- Mature and easy to live with: I am a 28-year-old Japanese male who always tries to be respectful, thoughtful, and easy to get along with.
- Clean and tidy: I clean up after myself immediately wash dishes after meals, and like to keep shared spaces neat.
- Quiet and respectful: I am sensitive to noise, so I naturally keep things quiet. I also rarely make phone calls.
- Used to shared living: Having lived in homestays, I am comfortable following house rules and respecting shared spaces.
- Reliable long-term tenant: I will be studying at UTAS until around the end of 2028 and am looking for a stable, long-term place to live.
- Responsible with alcohol: I enjoy an occasional drink, but I drink quietly and responsibly.
- Friendly and considerate: I value good relationships with housemates while also respecting personal space and privacy.
- Pet-friendly: I do not have any pets, but I am happy to live with them. My family has a dog in Japan, and I love stray cats, including other animals.
My budget is flexible depending on the living environment and housemates :) I am happy to talk about it.
My move-in date is flexible. The date I have listed is only tentative, as I need to provide two weeks' notice to my current accommodation.
