Veronica and Sheanne

Hi, I'm Veronica! I will be staying in Brisbane from January 12 to February 19 next year for my externship. I am a graduating vet student and I intend on pursuing veterinary medicine in Australia in the future! As a Filipino, family is always tight-knit and my mom (Sheanne) will be accompanying me on this trip 🙏

I can be quite chipper online, but I am more shy and reserved in person; my mom is the friendly and sociable one! But we are both mindful of our noise and our space, and we will respect your privacy, quiet times, and any house rules you may have. I will be at the clinic during weekdays and my mom will be around most of the time. She is always up for a chat and will most likely cook some of her special Filipino food for sharing! ✨

For my convenience, it would be incredible if your place is near a bus stop or within walking distance to Westfield Chermside, as it is near the clinic I will be doing my placement at. It would also be preferable if the room had bunk beds or two separate beds (or if you have an extra mattress that I can set on the floor!), since I am a bit of a rowdy sleeper and I wouldn't want to accidentally kick my mom in my sleep 😭
