Hi everyone!
I'm relocating to the Gold Coast in late December/early January to start a new teaching job and am looking for a great place to call home.

I'm open to two options: joining an existing share house for an initial 3–4 months, with the possibility of extending if it works out well, or teaming up with the right person to find a house together with my partner.

A little about us: we're both active, love getting outdoors and keeping fit, and enjoy being social while also appreciating our own space and downtime. We're clean, respectful and considerate, and keeping a tidy home is really important to us. We'd love to live with people who are on a similar wavelength and want a friendly, relaxed household.

If joining an existing share house:
My partner will initially be staying in Victoria while I settle in, but plans to relocate around April. In the meantime, he'd likely visit for about a week each month, so it's important that overnight visits are welcome.

If teaming up to find a house:
We'd ideally be looking for a three-bedroom house, with a master bedroom for us, a spare room for guests and a home office for Matt when he moves up. Our total rent budget would be around $1,200 per week, and we're happy to contribute a larger share to reflect the room allocation and working-from-home arrangements. We'd be keen to find someone who wants to work together to find the right place and establish a comfortable home.

We're ideally looking for a household without pets, smoking or children, although finding the right fit and a respectful living environment is most important.
